I was just a guest, visiting a friend, but the suite they were staying in was beautiful.
The staff were very helpful as well, providing us with a bottle cap opener and other tools so that we could dine in.
Great hotel. If I d have the need to stay in Saskatoon, I d stay here.
Great welcoming into the hotel. Great customer service. Free parking. We had booked a suite and we were well pleased with the room and amenities. Within walking distance of downtown restaurants. Very comfortable bed. Free breakfast with full service. Pricier hotel but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended for a staycation....without the kids ;)
We come here occasionally to get some delicious cocktails with friends. Great casual atmosphere and friendly service. My fav is the Birth of Cool. So good.
Beautiful rooms and amazing view of the river! The staff here makes staying so pleasant and they go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. This is our 2nd time staying here and will always come back The beds are definitely hard to get out of because they are extremely cozy and I always have the best sleep here! I recommend the James Hotel if you want value and relaxation.
Amazing little hotel in the heart of Saskatoon, friendly helpful staff and some of the softest hotel bed linens I've ad the pleasure of sleeping on. And close to most everything in downtown. I'll definitely be staying here when I'm in town next.
Beds are Amazing. Sheets and Linens are super soft. Location is great. Staff are extremely helpful.
I received a stay at the James hotel as a gift. It was a magical experience. The hotel has proximity to so many different restaurants and is right on Saskatoon s beautiful River Valley. The front desk clerk encouraged questions and the included breakfast in the morning was an extra treat.
They have the best sheets.
It s a very upscale feel and worth checking out particularly because so many extras are included in the price.
Also - other hotels may be less inexpensive, but in the end the James is actually a fantastic value for what you get, especially when you factor in their breakfast!
Wonderful hotel, wonderful service. The James was offering a Valentine's Day package that included our room, a bottle of bubbly and some hand crafted treats. We were pleasantly surprised, all the treats tasted wonderful and they even left a sweet card for our anniversary!
The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was very luxurious and soft. The bathroom was very pretty and well kept! We especially enjoyed our breakfast the following morning!
The only down side was parking, due to the hotel having so many guests over the weekend they ran out of space in their main lot but gave us the option to park in the Sheraton's lot. Not a big issue but a but it was a bit of a longer trek in the cold.
I was also very happy when our car didn't start and they helped try to get it started.

Beautiful room overlooking the river was fabulous, the staff and service were so friendly and accommodating, following all the safety protocols. Looking forward to our next staycation when this is over. A gem in our downtown sector. The sheets and bed were like no other. I will definitely see if I can order the sheets from the website for my home. The promotion was a welcome surprise. Well done during this crazy time!! Thank you for a great night, we will be back very soon.
