I brought a friend to this office on Aug 12th 2021 and she was helped by a man named Gilbert, She is a single mother and had lost her food stamp card. We both had the impression that we would be waiting for at least an hour! She walked to the gate spoke with the man handed over her ID and walked back to my car. Less then 5 mins latter the helpful man walked out and called her name. She got out and he handed her an envelope and that was it we where off. I'm still in shock!

Never answers the phone and been waiting for a phone interview for a month now keep in mind I'm pregnant and homeless. Need to step up the customer service

I Don't Know Where This C.S.R. Is Located At But On Oct.20,2020 I Had To Recert For My Cal-Fresh And Medical,,Customer Service Rep: HELEN: Was PATIENT,KIND,& THOUGHTFUL As She Walked Me Though A 2Hr:19Min Process Of Filling Out My Paperwork Online.Thank U Again .

Horrible. Everyone seems to be miserable and angry. What happened to enjoying your choice of career or job you applied for? Without our needs you would be unemployed and needing assistance too. Remember all of us are not manipulating the system. Life circumstances has created a challenging situation for us to survive through and your support is necessary.

I understand that everything is slow down due to COVID. But their process is absolutely unacceptable. I went on the 1st of last month to get a replacement card only by the direction of my worker to not get my card into two weeks later because no one put in my order

CASE WORKER ROSA NAVARRO I HAD A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND WITH MS VALLE AS A SUPERVISOR SHE HAS NO COMPASSION !!! Worst service ever !! If your disabled please move to another county !!!! Or have someone with strong emotional system call them on your behave! 0 stars !!!

For a public services building it's really nice. Fast, compared to other offices I have been to. I like the way they are set up. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes when applying for medical and food stamps. Only 3 hours for cash aid.

R u serious the supervisor really ignored my paper work all day and did nothing (not worried with food in your fridge) im homeless and haven't eaten in 2 days and my benefits are fine i have submitted everything and because "Computer Error" im punished now i call back and im told oh they have 3 days to let me starve lazy and no regard for other humans so much for trusting in your state to help cause we have ppl behind the desk who does not care about us !

Probably one of the best DPSS buildings I've ever been in, which tbh, hasn't been many. I advise going into ANY county building with a positive mindset, if possible, trust me, it'll feel better when you come out
