I was contemplating this review between one and two stars. I finally settled on the one-star review. I am a frequent visitor of Saturday Night Lights (SNL) so maybe I was expecting something as compared to that. For starters, you arrive at the venue and you have to come off of a paved road to an unpaved dirt road. So as you drive down the dirt road, your car is getting caked from the car in front of you kicking up the dirt. Once parked, you do walk to the venue and make your way to the ticket area. We did get our seats and I expected something as compared to SNL, which was far from that. They have a free seating area and 1 food truck station to get food. So to say it was a disappointment is an understatement, but they do have numerous popup bars throughout the stands. At halftime, they allow you on the field for activities, which was ok. At the end, we go to leave and we were guided down a chalky type of dirt roadway that covered our car. By the time we got out of there, the car needed another car wash. I do not get it, with all the money that venue brings, it has the absolute worst driving conditions I have seen. Maybe it is my fault for comparing it to SNL, but for all-around experiences, I could go without coming back to the venue again.

The only reason for not a 5 star rating is that I choose to sit in the general bleacher seating and it was quite offset of the field and you could not hear the music at all and the speaker for play by play was quite faint. Besides that the overall facility was beautiful and everyone working there that I interacted with was quite pleasant and polite.

It's a nice event when you go to the brunch and Polo match. However, if the polo gets rained out, they expect you to still show up in the rain for the brunch. They don't understand that the Polo match is an event. The brunch alone is not worth anywhere near $200/person. It's a very mediocre brunch. And management was so bad at responding to a complaint that they angered me greatly and have now lost a customer forever.

I LOVED the place. My family and I went there for the West Palm Beach Air Balloon Festival. The event was totally disorganized on so many levels! It was AWFUL. I get that the tethered balloon rides couldn't proceed given the windy weather conditions but there were so many other things wrong with this event. It was suggested that we arrive around 5 pm to avoid crowds. I agree that was a wise idea. So we parked quickly in a disabled spot. Little did I know that our VIP seating, which cost a lot more than regular tickets, was way at the other end of the field -- all the way across and down. It is far, at least it is for me and my 81 year old sister! Though we were offered a ride in a golf cart we decided to walk to the VIP Club not knowing how far it was! No one said anything about the distance! So we got there, sat down, had our drinks and waited, and waited, and waited, and waited! No one knew IF we should stand in line for the "imminent" balloon ride! No one knew WHERE we should stand in line for the "imminent" balloon ride! The announcer came on once in a while to update us on weather conditions but few could hear or understand what he was saying over the noise of the music and the crowd. When we asked the security guard in our area questions he didn't know the answers to anything. All he kept telling us was to go out to the field and stand in line in case the tethered balloon rides begin. We had blue tickets. Others had yellow tickets. He had no idea which balloons were designated to which colors. Our niece wandered around looking for someone to ask. Do you know how HUGE the grounds are? Well, my niece finally found someone to ask -- one of the organizers. He strongly suggested that we not bother to stand in any line because he doubted that the windy conditions would subside. I get it. I was warned that might happen. I was disappointed, but that's life. Then we did more waiting and more waiting. Since it was obvious that the tethered rides were a no go they should have geared up for the light show, but NO. They had us waiting some more. So what did I do between 5 pm and 8 pm?
I took photos of the sunset from various angles. I took photos of flattened/deflated air balloons. I took photos of air balloons being inflated. I took photos of inflated balloons. Then what? So my family and I decided to leave around 7:50 pm. An hour before that I asked the security guard if he could get us a golf cart ride back to the parking lot. He had no idea that this service was offered. He said he would ask his boss about it and that I should come back to him when we were ready to leave. So I did and he had no recollection of our conversation an hour before! Sad but true. Given that it was very dark and that the 4 of us are seniors and that I have a disability, we decided to hold hands and walk across that very large, pitch black field. We could not see a foot in front of us. We almost fell head first over a black tethered rope that we didn't even see! A good Samaritan saved us from what could have been a very dangerous fall. Shameful of the organizers not to think of these dangers beforehand! Shameful of the organizers to assign VIP parking way across the field from the VIP Club! I paid a lot of money and for what? Never again! ... By the way, apparently the light show got started about 20 minutes after we left. I preferred to see the videos on Facebook than to have stayed another minute at that horribly disorganized festival.

I'm not someone who complains online, but I've tried every other option. IPC is holding $30,000 of my client's "deposit." and they won't respond to letters, calls, or emails. It has been almost a year. I wonder how many other people are in this same situation. Do not give these people a deposit regardless of what they tell you - you'll end up in Court fighting to get your own money back.

We purchased VIP tickets & Premium Parking. Employee parking only was close to the club house while we were required to walk from the Premium parking lot to the other side of the field in order to reach the club house. After all the walking we discovered there was no food at the club house and all the food vendors were back on the opposite side of the field where we came in. Ridiculous!! Appreciated the club house facilities and staff, but for those of us who had to endure the long walks for food and parking we did not feel this was VIP treatment.

Being from NY maybe my expectations were a little too high, however I didn't walk away from my brunch at the IPC blown away...in fact, we left early, underwhelmed.
The clothes the women wore were quite pretty- which was nice to see- some women and men wore hats, which was fabulous!
Veuve Clicquot was sponsoring the event, or at least part of the event - if you paid extra for it, which I found completely tacky and there were no drinks included in the fee paid.
The brunch was set up nicely and they had an array of food to offer. The food was fresh and tasted good, however people tend to eat the raw/fish bar first, which was not replenished quickly or the three times I went inside. Also, the fully stocked bar did not have mint for a mojito, peach schnapps for a Bellini, house champagne for a mimosa...moreover they did not have cream for coffee, nor the coffee!
Last, my biggest complaint was I was told there would be entertainment for children, which upon arrival I was told there wasn't any. My daughter sat bored, vaguely interested in the Polo match- most patrons were more interested in who was going to see their Louis Vuitton envelope bags or Chanel shoes, as opposed to the men on horses. When we couldn't take anymore, decided to leave and complain to management- I'm told there was in fact an area for kids- completely across the Polo arena - nowhere near where the brunch is served.
I can only say to the new management- it was opening day and I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that you have some kinks to iron out...a lot of kinks. I wish you a lot of luck and wish there was something that impressed me enough to pay that kind of money to return (which I would pay in a heartbeat had I been wowed)

Polo done right. With good food choices, plenty of alcohol and an inviting vibe, polo at IPC is always good. I'm not that into the sport itself though it's fun to watch. The thing about polo is the whole experience. Stomp on the divots while they serve you champagne. Bring the kids for a very family friendly experience with a kid zone, food trucks and ... horses.

This was my 1st Polo match and it was so entertaining! I didn't realize that the riders would change horses.. which makes sense. The horses are so nimble and agile! Run, turn, pivot, stop!!, they were absolutely gorgeous and amazing. Hoping to go back again soon.

It was the first ballon event. The visual was amazing. I thought a little disorganized and could have used a lot more vendors. It still was and the up beat music created the energy.

Beautiful facilities and truly "The Global Polo Capitol", but a fantasy land for the rich and famous (and their offspring) as this is really an exclusive venue where if you think a $2,000 designer saddle is too expensive or too frivolous, you've come to the wrong place.
