The best French bakery in Fort Lauderdale! I ve been a fan of this place since the early 90 s when I used to get a Croissan Time treat every Friday after school, and this place has continued to offer quality treats to the Fort Lauderdale area over the years. It s a great place to stop by for lunch (croissant sandwiches/quiches), a little pick-me-up for yourself (chocolate covered strawberry), or the final touches for your dinner party with guests (fresh baguette/specialty cakes). Everything on the menu is delicious and you can t go wrong with this bakery... Anytime is Croissan Time !
My wife live this place. She being from Paris found that it had it's orginal recipe.
Tasty, very sweet !!! Nice place to have coffee and eat french buns !!!
Food and ambience here is outstanding, they just need to figure out a better system for placing orders.
The Bakery is outstanding, everything on the menu is great. I would highly recommended AAA+++
The best French Bakery in the South. I have been coming here for more than 20 years and the food is superb. From the cakes to the bread, always flawless. The bakery also has a store where you can buy wine, jam, cheese, cold cuts, and prepared food. The croissant bechamel with spinach and mushrooms is a lunch favorite.
Honestly...amazing!!! Everything there is great!! I the chicken & mushroom quiche!! Simply the best anywhere I have been or traveled!!
I love their chocolate covered strawberries, they are always fresh and melt-in-your-mouth delicious!
A slice of Paris in Fort Lauderdale. This place is the real deal. Fantastic croissants and baguettes all made fresh in this expansive French bakery. Service is friendly and efficient. Prices are reasonable. I will definitely return.
I was there this morning
Got a one chocolate eclaire small pastry
Cost $ 7.15 never again not only the cost also taste all butter go the hell .Mr French
Love this place.
Everything is so yummy
I just spent $50 on the worst cake I've ever bought. Beautiful to look at, tastes like sugar, that's all! Didn't taste like vanilla/chocolate, just super sweet. Would like to throw it out but I bought it for my husband's birthday. Not a cake, just sugar.
Really bad experience, never thought i would be treated differently base on my race at a bakery . Was trying to order a couple of Pastries and was totally ignore because i was a man if color and they just went to the white american. MALE AND TOTALLY IGNORE US
My go to place for French baking and lunch. Great breads, pastries, quiches.
Best chocolate covered strawberries and Delicious cheeses! They serve the cappuccino with a sugar stick which is so cute. Outdoor seating is a plus. I felt like I was on vacation in France for the 15 mins we were there. Pricey but it's authentic.
Cappuccino is too expensive especially for the amount you get!
Visiting from Massachusetts, I love this place, too many good things to even describe. I'd come here every day if I lived here!!
Great pastries and a landmark of Fort Lauderdale with this being the spot to go for cakes and croissants all the way back to the 80s. I miss the commercials and the old jingle "Annnnytime is Croisan'time. ooohh anytime."
Friendly staff, intelligent sales people, fresh made food, tons of delicious options, relaxing dining atmosphere, beautiful outdoor seating. They have awesome selections for desserts, breakfast, lunch, dinner, and for stocking your home pantry. Food is nicely packaged for to-go orders. Live music on Sunday!
As a french person i went to visit and 8 was disappinted, croissant don t have enough butter, the cream in the beignet is lame, it need to be more vanilla and sugar tasting.
And the prices were outrageous
Best french bakery in town. Favored by locals for decades. Bit pricey but worth it. Sitting tight on weekends.
Exceptional baked goods and pastries. The croissants are flaky and buttery, as they should be, and their sourdough bread is the best I have found in town.
A very good place to get a good sandwich! Try their different cheeses available
Fresh Croissant in town. I have been to Paris couple of times. The bakery shop, the taste of the croissant and hot chocolate reminded me of Paris.
I buy ALL my cakes at this place for every single family event! I drive 30 mins. To get there and I do it happily because I know that I am buying something fresh, refined and delicious! I love this place !
The best French bakery in South Florida!!!
Best authentic deserts, foods, cold cuts and wines, champane, etc!
This Croissan Time French Bakery is the best place to go when you want to impress your friends and family with baked goods. They also have other high end goods such as cheese and wine. Outside seating is a welcoming atmosphere at times with music. Thanks for reading my review and a thumbs up would let me know someone else reads these reviews. Good luck to you and yours.
Excellent French bakery. To take away or to eat there.
Fantastic bakery, excellent service, great place to enjoy a good cup of coffee and croissants
Tasty croissant, nice coffee and the whole atmosphere feels good. Felt it is a little overpriced. Don't find much young people here.
It might be in a strip mall off US-1, but when you walk inside you'll be transported directly to France. The smells alone are divine! Of course try their breads and other pastries, and don't skip dessert! Their fruit tarts and other artful sweets are incredible (and not too sweet)!
Treat yourself!!!
one word, awesome!!! :) I would definitely visit this place on a daily bases if I lived near it.
This is the best place in South Florida for pastries. You will love everything they create there.
I've lived in France for many years and I was amazed at the authenticity and high quality of this charming bakery/ restaurant. Highly recommended. A treat every time I go. The fresh orange nice is also wonderful as is the shaded area where you can eat outside.
In comparison with other French bakeries like Cafe Cream in North Miami I only give them 3 stars. Their bakery is yummy but not exceptional or truly French style
The photos show some of the yummy pastries we bought at CroissanTime and there is so much more to choose from including coffee, sandwiches, bread, candy, etc., etc. What a delight. The food is decadent and wish we had such a place on Florida's southwest coast. Now every time I return to Fort Lauderdale I will return to Croissan'Time.
Everything here tastes spectacularly delicious. Prices are quite high but make no mistake, the quality and taste you get is definitely worth it
We drive from West Palm Beach couple times a month. Absolutely the best!!
Amazing service and food.
So friendly and the variety of pastries...just wow
We took some breads home...
Couldn't resist it.
The Asian lady is not a rascist she's just a sad soul , I wish you the best Asian lady the croissant was good tho !!!
Best Chocolate Covered Strawberries!!!! I no longer order from these delivery places! Here I can depend on getting large, beautiful and firm berries EVERY TIME! What's not to love!!!
Everything here is delicious, service is fast and friendly. Can eat there or take home, and weekends they have live music outside. They have several varieties of quiche and soup, my favs.
This used to be a bakery with high quality croissants, brioche, baguette, etc., in the style of France. No longer true. The quality is now equal to the bakery at the local supermarket chain. They have changed ingredients, chefs, ownership and/or all of the above according to my in-house spies. I used to rate this place on the level of the Gran Forno Italian bakery (Ft. Lauderdale, Las Olas), but Croissant'time is now removed from my list. It is a shell of its' former self, but, as Bernard Casse knows full well, very few clients will be sophisticated enough to taste the difference, so this low quality bakery will expand (plans now underway to renovate).
The baguette is a dense, sticky dough with little crust. The brioche is a tired mass of bland flour, the pastries are overly sweet concoctions to cater to the cruder American tastes, and the croissants are no longer light and flaky. This bakery gives France a bad name, so they should remove this designation from their title . The only thing French about this bakery is the prices. The quality, which in the past was the only distinguishing feature of this bakery, has disappeared.
They have therefore removed the sole reason for their existence, for those clients that are sufficiently refined and polished to notice. Unfortunately, most will not notice.
Great French Bakery! Long lines move fast, but know what you want. If new or undecided, go during less busy time( call and ask ).
Beautiful and tasty of everything, like you are eating in Paris
Have been eating here for over 18 years. Every thing is delicious. Warm fresh baguettes are available every day. All pastries are just as I like fresh, never stale and not extremely sweet. Good selection of cheeses, cold cuts and wine. Many french fare dishes prepared daily. Yummy gelato available as well. This is a must Saturday brunch place for everyone.
The ham and Swiss cheese croissant was FABULOUS, and we tried several mini pastries which were also delicious! The service is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going back!
Been coming here since I was a young girl and it's still amazing!!!!
I've never had their food, after all this is a bakery so I go for the pastries & sweets. I now live in downtown Miami and will always make the drive to this bakery.
I'm giving the perch 10 because the ambience is everything and the food is pretty darn good. Recommended the bacon mac and cheese for sure
I love this little hidden gem. They have the best homemade baked goods and sweets that anyone could ask for. It's a quick in and out type of place, and the staff is pretty nice too. Definitely a must try if your in this area! Oh, and they have cute live music on the weekends during breakfast/brunch time.
Ooolala amazing a must go to place to have everything
Great authentic French Bolangerie. Their you will find all the delicious pastries, breads, quiches, sandwiches and much more. Highly recommend it.
Great pastries, great crossiant. And they know how to make a really good cappuccino.
Extremely friendly people working here, great food and service.. Spent $98, I was skeptical at first, then I tasted the food and cake. Delicious!!!
I wish that there were more places like this around. Great!
The mployees could be nicer. The food is not that cheap. You expect to have at least decent service. They only care about collecting money quick. And employees like Carla can make very fresh comments which are very inappropriate.
