The Hollywood Bowl is a tradition. it is a Los Angeles Treasure. if you've not spent a concert evening at the Hollywood Bowl please go it's a wonderful place beyond the music ?and the people are delightful, Friendly and courteous. And lastly the best kept secret is if you're quiet and you create no problems it's okay to bring in your bottle of wine and maybe have some Cabernet as you enjoy the music.

It was my first visit to this venue, parking looked horrible. I decided to take a shuttle from the Los Angeles Zoo s parking lot. The shuttle was helpful, although the people operating the shuttle service worried me because they had mentioned as we departed the bus . . . we would only have 25 minutes after the show ended to board the buses. If we didn t not make it to the buses in time, a bus would be dispatched at the end of the night to pick up anyone not able to board on time. I was a little Stressed, trying make sure I was able to herd through all the people and make it on time to the shuttle. (I was successful)
Concession Stand prices are High like anywhere else, $6.00 for a Hot Dog. I was told the Hollywood Bowl allows visitors to bring a picnic, if you can bring your own food, DO IT!!
Seating was meEHhh . . . it was a nice night, full Moon, Beautiful, but cold. Take a jacket and one of those zip up blankets. You could use it as a seat cushion or cover yourself with it, (I didn t take a jacket).
The Sound was very disappointing, sad really. I comment about the sound because with all the praise I heard on television, radio, read in articles, and people s comments about sound at THE BOWL . Local Movie Theater was much better than the hole . . . Oh sorry, The Bowl .
. . . in all, I did enjoy myself, the performance was the reason for my visit.

I went to this venue for a Ziggy Marly reggae fest for Bob Marleys 70th birthday celebration. The view is amazing, I loved it. Parking can be a little tricky, so buy parking ahead of time or prepare to arrive a couple hours before the show. If you have an opportunity to see a concert here, you should definitely go!

Famous place with stacked parking! Yikes but if your not in a hurry to get home after then its the best place to park otherwise you can park in some local places but it will be at a 10-15 minute walk and remember that at the bowl you will be walking already up to the seating area and then walking back down and for some it is quite a hike. The tree lined venue is very nice and cool but where the seating is there are no trees so it can get hot. GREAT acoustics so you are in for a treat.

Amazing venue for performances. Sight of the HOLLYWOOD sign behind the stage is wonderful. Only negative thing I could say is that helicopters flew over the performance 5 times, which may not be a problem for loud concerts, but as this event was a lot of spoken-word, it proved to be difficult to hear.

What are the most beautiful and most fantastic concert Halls in the world. The acoustics are absolutely amazing and the setup was second to none. The concert I have the luck to attend was Pete Tong live with surprise guests like Moby The Chemical Brothers Daft Punk and many others with the music provided by one of the most fantastic orchestra's

No question about it, this place is speechless, came to see Andrea Bocelli, phenomenal!! But the traffic horrendous!! The personnel thats guiding traffic wasn't very helpful, they kept saying "sorry im not from here " "im not sure just keep going straight". Something needs to be done with traffic. They also said "im not sure whats going on at this point"....wow
Make more room for traffic flow...pls! 1hr on the off ramp on highland.....crazy.....i would post a vid of a SUV driving on the emergency side, but no vid space, all the way to the top, almost hitting this small car. That wouldn't budget to let it pass. And by the way we left 3hrs ahead.....!

The venue itself is lovely. The Kitchen 22 however, where we ordered our pre-show food is atrocious. I've never seen somewhere so disorganised. 40 minute wait for 2 burgers with fries and in the hurry to make it into the show with the remaining 4 minutes, I didn't realise that they hadn't included the 20oz beer and 2 bottles of water that I'd paid for, which is $20 worth of stuff. I then had to go to another refreshments counter to replace the water at even more cost, also missing the first 20 minutes of the show. Not impressed and I'll probably avoid coming back to the Hollywood Bowl in future. Absolutely shocking organisation skills.

Saw Depeche Mode here 4 nights. Excellent venue and depending on the level of seating the view changes dramatically, mid way up the middle, of the bowl, lights screens were amazing. This was truly the only place where I have had this type of experience.

Had an amazing time taking my wife to go see Alejandra Guzman vs Gloria Trevi concert. She loved it and so did I. Is the first time me being sober at a concert. Anything to make the love of your life happy and totally recommend this place to anyone.

The Venue for music is fantastic...but overall, getting in a out of the place is a mess. The venue gets completely packed and who wants to wait in line for 40 mins to get a bottle of water or any concessions? You'd miss the show you paid to come see! My friend was on crutches and it was the WORST place ever for people with mobility issues. This was my 1st time there and I have to say I probably won't be back.

This is the most spectacular venue to experience any one of the performing arts. The way the audience seating area is seamlessly carved out of the mountain is a testament to Frank Wright's involvement in the design of the Hollywood Bowl. Together with L.A.'s warm weather you're sure to have a great evening.

Historic venue but has been properly maintained over the years. I cannot sing the praises enough of parking at the LA Zoo and taking the shuttle. Got out right away and was on the freeway home after the show less than 30 minutes after the show finished.

About The Hollywood Bowl

The Hollywood Bowl is a legendary outdoor amphitheater located in the heart of Los Angeles, California. Since its inception in 1922, it has been the go-to destination for live music enthusiasts from all over Southern California and beyond. The venue has played host to some of the biggest names in music history, including Billie Holiday, The Beatles, and Yo-Yo Ma.

One of the most iconic features of the Hollywood Bowl is its concentric-arched band shell. This unique design allows for unparalleled acoustics and an immersive concert experience that simply cannot be replicated anywhere else. Whether you're sitting up close or way up high in one of the venue's many terraced seating sections, you'll feel like you're right in the middle of all the action.

But it's not just about great sound at The Hollywood Bowl - there's also plenty to see and do before and after each show. The venue boasts a wide variety of food and drink options, from classic hot dogs and popcorn to gourmet cuisine from some of LA's top chefs. And if you're looking for something extra special, consider booking one of their VIP packages which include access to exclusive lounges with private bars and premium seating options.

Of course, none of this would be possible without an incredible lineup of performers year after year. From classical orchestras to rock bands to pop superstars, there truly is something for everyone at The Hollywood Bowl. And with multiple shows per week during peak season (typically May through September), there are plenty of opportunities to catch your favorite artists live on stage.

So whether you're a lifelong fan or just looking for a fun night out with friends or family, be sure to check out what's happening at The Hollywood Bowl this season - tickets are available now!
