It's a nice option to take a break under a tree in the city.

Not sure how it is during the peak of summer because it's a touristy place but went in early June and it was awesome! Definitely a must-see.

The most historic place in Istanbul! You can visit Agia Sophia 537 a.d. Byzantine church. The most beautiful Orthodox Church which now is a museum. Visit Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Top capi, Kinsterna etc..

Sultan Ahmet Square is a place where everyone can find a piece of itself with the mysteries it contains. Nice lively square - none of the restaurants have washrooms and the public one is difficult to find (near the front of the mosque) and cost one lira to use.

Note: For women, if you want to do the back section of the university, there are showers and there is a place for ablution. When you finish visiting the mosque you can go to the park which is near to it. It is beautiful for relaxation.
