Dr. Slaughter and her staff are amazingly awesome! I have been a patient of Dr. Slaughter s for almost two years now. I am incredibly thankful to have a provider doctor like her. When I started seeing her, we discussed and set goals for my overall health. She helped me reach those goals and then some with weight loss and being an overall healthy and happy woman. And her staff know me, whether I call or I am in the office with a mask on! Everyone has a phenomenal bedside manner! I love their unique level of personalized service. I would recommend Dr. Slaughter to any woman at any stage in their lives.

Dr. Slaughter is great, the clinic is very clean, and the staff is very friendly. How ever they don't give you the right information or correct information. Initially I was told my doctor's office visit would be less than $100 and upto $120 for lab work (I asked since I'm self pay) then I was schedule on a Friday for a pap smear when they don't do them on Fridays, but Dr. Slaughter when ahead and did it anyway. Again not to this by the person who made my appointment. I was never told I would get a surprise bill of over $600 + for lab work that I was told would be included in the fee I payed the day of the visit. Also I was told the fee I payed included the pap smear also not true. I also got a separate bill for this. When I called them to ask why I was getting a surprised bill when I was told differently, I didn't even get a reasonable answer and neither the person who answered my call nor did the office manager apologize for dropping the ball. An apology goes a long way.. Giving the right information to patients specially when they ask for it is a must.

Where do I start...

I have been battling reproductive health issues for the past five years. I have seen several gynecologists who have invalidated my issues and even allowed the issues to get worse.

I cam across The Healthy Woman s Instagram page about three years ago. I immediately began following it. As I browsed through their videos I felt confident that Doctor Slaughter would soon be my new gynecologist. The experience I had with the previous gynecologists really supported my rationale in finding a black woman gynecologist.

Life happened fast over the next several years, and I subsequently no longer had insurance. Finally, in March 2021 I enrolled in a new plan, and immediately made my appointment at The Healthy Woman.

From the moment I entered the door I was greeted with warmth and the feeling like I belonged. Pamela, is amazingly sweet. Her kind disposition was the first thing I was greeted with. She confirmed my information, told me my copay and within 5 minutes I was in the back. Shanae (sp.) was in charge of my intake and she was attentive and through her own personal story, she encouraged me to make a decision that has positively impacted me. This place was heaven already and I hadn t even seen Chhaya yet.

The staff is very welcoming and warm. I didn t have to wait long to be called to the back nor did i wait long to see the doctor. The doctor made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. It was quick and painless. Thank you ladies for taking such good care of me and in a timely manner!

I love the Healthy Woman. I have been with them since they started as a new practice. I first met Jonica and she was very inventive and always kept her word. I met Dr. Slaughter and knew this was the place for me. She is very attentive to my needs and actually listens and doesn t just rush me through what I am saying or asking. I feel comfortable with telling her all that is going on with me and I trust in what she says and recommends for me and my body. I even started my daughter going there and trusted that she would get the same care and treatment. I love that every time I walk in the place is very soothing with soft music playing and smells wonderful. Very inviting !!!! I have recommended several family and friends here.

Dr Slaughter is very personable and authentic. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff. Everyone operates in a spirit of ease and it is exactly the necessary thing in a doctor's office. I highly recommend.

This office is creatively decorated and warm and inviting upon immediate entrance. The entire staff was very friendly and Dr. slaughter was very easy to talk to and communicate with all of my questions. She cares very much about the well being of her patients.

I love all the staff especially Dr. Slaughter, Lauri & Jill. Their support and care is immaculate. The team delivered baby number 2 and I m back again for baby number 3. I wouldn t want it any other way. Thank you all for being so amazing!

All around excellent service from the time you walk in until you leave. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The waiting area is always clean with a fresh scent, soft music playing, and bottle water available if needed.

I love Dr. Slaughter and everyone that works in the office. Everyone is welcoming and very helpful! Dr. Slaughter listens to any concerns that you may have, and gives you multiple options for solutions, along with her professional advice. Although there is a bit of a wait sometimes, I believe it is worth it for the overall experience and level of care received. 10/10 recommend.
