We have been a vendor for The Hayman Company for a year now and it has been a wonderful opportunity and experience to service some of there properties. There management staff has been easy to work with and very professional on the local, Regional, and National level. Look forward to many more years of business and friendship with them!

Hayman company, YOU DON'T DESERVE ONE STAR!!!!!! THIS COMPANY RIPS OFF PEOPLE!!! DO NOT RENT FROM ANYTHING ASSOCIATED WITH THIS COMPANY! If people organized, I bet we could get a big lawsuit going. I've had issues at Arioso Apartments/Hayman company since day ONE! Never, have they ever compensated me for anything. One thing to consider when dealing with any company is the retention rate of their employees, and in the past two years I've been here (and I'm out in a month...couldn't be happier but still dealing with incompetence of their staff), they've rotated all management staff at least three or four times. That way, when you have an issue, no one knows what is going on. Their property is infested with feces because they don't enforce rules. They always open the pool late into the summer because of the lights, or the chemicals, or the...I don't know, there's always some excuse. They don't have screens on any windows because it's too expensive to maintain!!! Really!!! Talk about cutting corners! These are just a few examples. I could go on for days about the issues I've had, but I'm tired. They are a SCAM! You've been warned.

NEVER RENT FROM HAYMAN COMPANY THEY ARE A RIP OFF AT PLUMTREE APARTMENTS. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN 4 DIFFERENT AMOUNTS I OWE FOR RENT IN THE FIRST MONTH I WAS TO PAY FULL RENT. I MOVED IN JAN 26TH AND THEY CHARGED ME $250 REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT AND $131 NONREFUNDABLE FEE AND PRORATED THE LAST WEEK OF JAN.. I WAS NOT FULLY INFORMED OF ALL THE EXTRA CHARGES BESIDES RENT. I PAID $460 OF $780 I OWED FOR FEB RENT. THE SALVATION ARMY WAS WILLING TO PAY THE BALANCE WHICH I WAS TOLD TO BE $320. THEN WHEN I GOT TO THE SALVATION ARMY AND GOT THE MANAGER ON THE PHONE SHE SAID THE AMOUNT WAS $450, THEY WERE STILL GOING TO PAY IT UNTIL THE MANAGER INSISTED ON THE PAYMENT BE MADE TODAY. EVERYONE KNOWS IF AN ORGANIZATION PAYS FOR UTILITIES OR RENT IT WON'T BE ON THE SAME DAY THEY APPROVE IT. SHE TOLD THEM EVEN IF THEY PAID THE 450 SHE WOULD STILL GIVE ME AN EVICTION BECAUSE IT WAS NOT PAID THE SAME DAY IT WAS APPROVED, SO NOW THE SALVATION ARMY SAID THEY WILL NOT PAY IT IF SHE GOING TO GIVE AN EVICTION ANYWAY BECAUSE IT WAS NOT PAID TODAY. I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED SUCH POOR MANAGMENT COMPANIES UNTIL I STARTED RENTING APTS. I ALWAYS RENTED HOUSES AND HAD NO PROBLEMS.

I would not recommend renting from any apt the hayman co manages. They are overpriced. They dnt offer any concessions for renewing . They charge for water sewage which is the norm however they charge erroneous admin fee and a YES fee on top of 2 sewage and water bills . run run run if u see hayman mgmt on apt

I have lived here a over a year. The management over charges for water bill and they always trump up charges during the middle of the month and tag it to your rent,. Then they will deduct the amount from the $$$ you paid for rent, then they will say you owe x amount of $$$ plus late charges. This way they making double money. I spoke with the manager and she stated that they can do that if they want. This is robbery because if one owes $$$, they should be given that bill at the beginning of each month and not accept your rent money plus bills only to come up 2 weeks later and say you owe.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND TRY RUINING YOUR CREDIT

I'm a professional real estate photographer. Hayman Company has been a client of mine for a few years. As a vendor I have been to and worked on dozens of their properties and I found that at the properties and throughout the corporate management everyone was very professional and easy to work with.
Having spent plenty of time photographing their properties I have gained an insight into how they accommodate their tenants' needs and remedy potential problems. Hayman property management, in my opinion, always does their best to address these concerns.

When I first moved into the apartments owned by them in Lansing MI called Plumtee, I was dealing with neighbors that were awful. They would beat on my wall until 4am causing my pictures to fall, complain about my son's service dog barking when she wasn't simply because they hate dogs, make comments to me and my son in the hallway about my son's disabilities (Mostly they called my son a retard and made fun of him for his inability to speak). They peed on my doormat, keyed my car. They purposefully turned their tv up at 10pm every night knowing it was quiet hour, it would shake my walls and wake up my children. Management kept sending me letters about my son's service dog saying they would come into my home and remove the dog while I was not home. They did nothing in regard to the noise, vandalism, or harassment of my special needs son. Eventually they requested a meeting. During this meeting, the property manager repeatedly told me she did not want to view the pictures and video evidence I had and ultimately nothing was resolved.
The door buzzer doesn't work and the door lock is being broken by the teenage girl who lives downstairs, allowing anyone to just walk in. People in other buildings walk their dogs over to our buildind and let their dog poop without ever picking it up so dog poop covers every inch of the yard and kids cannot play. The hallways smell of cigarette smoke and weed due to neighbors smoking in the hallways. Whenever these issues are brought up to the manager or the office staff their response is always "Sorry, nothing I can do. Call the police next time." Some of the neighbors are throwing their trash in the hallways by the doors. My car was broken into and come to find out two weeks prior there were fifteen cars that had the same thing happen, which the office staff knew about but did not warn anyone of this happening. There is an open electical box on the side of one of the buildings with multiple wires exposed, they are aware and maintenance drives by it everyday but it still hasn't been taken care of. I have lived here for two years and this will be the last. I will not be renewing our lease. The office staff is pretty nice except Shelby. She is very rude on the phone and in person. She never knows what she is talking about when you go into the office to ask questions. None of the staff ever returns calls or they say they will have someone call you if they don't know the answer to questions but never call. The washer has been broken for at least six months but the office staff just tell us to call the number on the washers. When no one does anything to repair it, the office still won't call either. It is awful living here. I don't suggest it to anyone! Someone keyed my guest's car and the office has nothing to say about it, not even an apology. The neighbors are still smoking in the hallways and force me (pregnant) and my children to experience second hand smoke. The smell is filling up my bedroom and my children's bedroom. It makes my daughter, who has asthma, have trouble breathing. Now we have new neighbors who do drugs, pound on the walls until all hours of the night, slam doors and scream, fight so loud it wakes my children up, and yet again nothing is done. Sick of this place and the piss poor property manager! After being told 3 times now that there is a bee nest outside of my daughters window and she is severely allergic the assistant manager and office staff assured me it would be taken care of, but nothing has been done and it has been weeks. I ended up taking the screen out of the window and took care of it myself after a bee found it's way into her room.

As a long time contractor, I can honestly say that...

As a long time contractor, I can honestly say that Hayman takes care of their vendors - especially Salient Landscaping! They don't beat us up about price, they pay early or right on time, and their managers are pleasant and professional. We worked on several sites for snow removal this year and have done landscape design/build work for them for several years in the past. I have attached a rendering of a project we are working on for them this year at one of their properties.

I have worked as a vendor and see that the Hayman Company is always trying to enhance the experience of being one of their renters. Every time we do a project with them they always empathize the importance of keeping the tenants needs and wants at the top of the project. I have heard many of the property managers say that this is not just a complex but a large family community. I have worked with many other apartment owners and their first concern is money and not the concern for the tenants. I would recommend any Hayman property highly!!

I will NEVER stay in any apartments that this company owns. They expect for you to fix maintenance problems yourself and tried to charge me $600 for carpet that wasn t even worth 2 cents . DO NOT RENT from this company. They are rip offs .

The Pines of Cloverlane look completely different then before Hayman took over management. I am very happy with the improvements that are made every year to keep the property looking great. Kathleen is always helpful when I come to the office with any questions regarding the complex.

It's too bad. After the water pipe burst on the first day of the new year, it hasn't been repaired after a month of repairs. I couldn't stay at all. And threatened me to pay thousands of dollars, and have no bills or written documents. Remind fellow Chinese not to rent this company's house.

Called the corporate office because the management...

Called the corporate office because the management at our old complex was playing hide and seek with our refund check for two months. Spoke to Patty who cuts the checks and she was extremely rude and hung up on me. None of the people I spoke to took the time to hear what the problem was. Eventually got connected to the regional manager who was conviently out of town so I had to leave a message.

I am at there property Mesquite Village Apartments and have no complaints.
the office staff are always helpful and the manager Kimberly is one of the nicest people I have ever met.
the maintenance guys always wave to me when I see them and answer questions if I have them. Def. 5 stars
