I have been renting from Hand Prop Room for years and generally find what I need here. Staff is great, not a lot of turn over which is a testament to being a great company that really takes care of people.

When I walked in, no one greeted me or anything, and there was no way to know who was in charge, so I just started looking around. Someone sees me doing so and asks if I need something. I asked if I could look around, and they very passively said they would be closing in 20 minutes. I quickly found what I was looking for, and then went to try to find someone who could give me pricing. Finally someone asks me if I need help, and I tell them I'd like to know some prices for some stuff. They tell me I need to take photos with my phone--some very helpful info that first guy could have given me, esp. since he was so adamant about closing soon. The worst part was that everything is so overpriced, or at least the stuff I was looking for (gold and diamond jewelry, gold vases/statues)...I went downtown to find all the things I needed and paid less to buy them than to rent it from these guys. Many things are just spray painted, and thus, chipping.
