The Grove Sports Centre Review

Hard to recommend. I am reviewing the bar - which is actually supposed to be a private members bar - although they don't seem to be bothered about checking your membership. Alcohol is cheap but not a great choice and both the ambience and clientele are a bit sky sports. The Ring o Bells nearby is a better choice.

The grove has improved and although it is a sport club it is still a nice club to visit. And if you are a member the drink is cheaper than the local pubs.

I only visit when I play one of their many table tennis teams. Members are very enthusiastic about the place. Free parking. Definitely visit if you live in the Nailsea area

Reasonable drinks selection and a fair range of activities.

Always a good atmosphere at the club. I play skittles there once per fortnight.

Warm welcome,good beer and plenty of sporting choices both live and televised.

Used this venue for our wedding reception. Friendly staff and a good sized venue. We had around 70 guests in total and it was more than adequate.

Decent sports clubs and pitches. Entrance is opposite the Ring O Bells.

A number of football and cricket pitches

A good bar and function room available for hire. Large tv for sports viewing.

A good number of parking spaces.

Great garden when the sun is shining, spacious sports and social club.

Great place to walk the dog, watch local sport and have a drink. Good local community focus!

Joined the table tennis game on Tuesdays. Great people

It is what it is...cheaper beer but could do with a better range of cask ales and less Heineken products

not up market but still very good venue for a party. It also has great staff and can lend you there kitchen for a reasonable price if needed.

I preschool is great and you get great service from the staff.

Great for children's parties shame I couldn't stay to watch the cricket

Cheap family afternoon out, plenty of space for the kids to play.

Beat nailsea 5-0 ref had a mare tbh lad got took out and not even a yellow... some nice house being bilut opposite... probably not affordable housing though..... it was very sunny and i sat in my chair watching the carnage of nailsea being done over...... lovely........
