It's a criminal offence that this establiment has a 3.9 on Google maps. Excellent burger, good service, friendly staff, and heavy poors with drinks. When they are busy, you will have to wait like any other bar. Otherwise, love this place.

The customer service was friendly but very distracted and the food was good, not very staffed at the time, we waited over an hour for the food to which the manager apologized and the drinks and admission were free.

Locals joint that may be unexpectedly going off for no apparent reason. Their kitchen is open late so you can look forward to some tots as a boozy snack.

They don't have enough people to run a restaurant this size. 2 hour plus wait for food there were still plenty of empty seats. This is an unacceptable way to run a business. Dont go.

For a sports bar, pleasant atmosphere, plenty of screens, surprisingly good food and service. Seems popular with the locals as well.

Amazing !! Reggae music great craft beer friendly faces and delicious food . I ordered the bonanza burger added mushrooms and bacon with a side of Elysian. Don't forget to ask for a pickle!!!!

Staff is great. Typically filled with salty locals and dumb tourists. Good to pregame before seeing a show at the cbc

After sledding all day, we checked our phones for a close by place for lunch. The menu seemed fine so all 6 of us and a baby arrived to find - it's a bar! But they had an available big round table at the front window with a lake view. Great food! Really great service! Capped off a fun day in the snow!

Food is ok but very disorganized. The management were barking about masks to people who don't know what the rules are. Don't walk inside to get a table! Wait outside for 15 minutes while all the servers ignore you.

Covid dinning outside done well. Hamburgers and shrimp tacos were very good!

Very crowded. Went there to play darts and full of young people drinking more than they should do. Difficult to get to the bar and get attention of server. If not so crowded would have rated it higher.

HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE!! HORIBBLE!!! first off I live out of state. I came here around 630pm on Easter Sunday. I was in Tahoe visting 4 family households that live in the Tahoe area, on the way out of tahoe me and my bf decided to try this pub based off of the local reviews here, and what my family has said about this place. Let me tell you after my speaker phone conversation with them and my experience here they won't be seeing any of those 12 family members EVER again!! You lost some service! And just so you know Tahoe has plenty more bars/wfood around you, your shop isn't a gem in the rough. You better get better workers or customer service started on... my only complaint is your tall lanky white guy that was working that shift. We came It took 10 mins to get a menu, mind you it was moderately busy. However I own a restaurant and have served and managed many years before and it was in no means swamped or crazy busy. But oh well we can chill, and order we thought (We had some time but where on a time schedule for a flight). We both decided on the same meal. About 25mins later the food comes out. The menu did not state an ingredient that I'm allergic to in the meal. So as kindly as I could (I absolutely hate returning and wasting food!) I took it to the bar to him and explained I couldn't eat it. With great attitude he said he'd switch it. Didn't ask if I'd like something else, didn't ask if I wanted to nix the order, just got frustrated said his piece then walked away like I was a bug irritating him! And to go more on his service he just dropped off our food And left. We both wanted ranch in the side. he never once asked if we needed anything else, or a refill for the beer that was below half at this point. He obviously had better people to attend then this "stupid eating pit stop". Once I sit back down I see my bf has scarfed his meal down, great job I bet the food is great! The fries were good that I tried before I returned the meal. Looking at my phone (seriously) 3mins had last and my bf was let's just say done by now, I figured what's the point it'll take 22 more mins, and we have to get back on the road to sac to get to the airport. I need to cancel this as much as I hate. Tail between legs feeling horrible I tried my best to explain this to the stick up butt bartender. He wouldn't even listen past I need to cancel! No matter could be important enough, obviously you didn't care about your table enough to check up on or even ask if I wanted the meal again to begin with when returned. Serving 101, start some training. It was all about him! And his inconvenience. So since I was talking to a wall I went back to the table frustrated. He brought the bill very promptly after that. Fun local bar with great food, great portion sizes, and stiff drinks. Marshall was my server, and he was very prompt and friendly.

Excellent burgers, great patio, and super close to the beach. I came to King's Beach to see my friends play a show here and the night was awesome. The food was great. I had The Grid burger. It was classic bar food but, to be honest, the patty was cooked better than I expected. The bartenders were fast. I never waited more than a couple minutes for service and the bar was pretty packed. All-in-all this was a great experience and I will definitely be back.

Total rip off. First time ordering for pick up 830 at night and Ordered three burgers, 2 fries and chicken wings, went to pick it up, the bill was for $77,00. They added on an 18% gratuity tax with out my knowledge. They never mentioned it on the phone nor is it on their website!! I am filing a complaint with the BBB and the placer county business license division. This place is a scam. Turns out the burgers came with fries so I did not need to order fries either. Person on the phone did not tell us anything, just rang it all up and added 18% to the bill with out us knowing. Total rip off. Will never eat there again!

Don t go! Not only were we not greeted but we also had to sit ourselves down and wait over 30 minutes for the waiter to come. We had to talk to the chef a lot more than the server since the server came only once after a while to get our orders. The food was oily and fatty and I wish I didn t go there because I got sick the next from food poisoning. When we came to pay, we had to wait over 10 minutes for the server, who claimed he was the manager, for us to pay. He was rude about it and didn t care about our opinion that we weren t satisfied with our meals. Later the same manager started cursing since we didn t like the food and said that we can take it outside if we want to meaning we can fight outside. I would not recommend anyone going near that place, especially if you are hungry like we were.

Took my son here for dinner after skiing. He had Philly cheesesteak and said it was very good. I had cod Taco's, they were good also.

The person who named the wings juicy wings has a good sense of humor. If you want previously frozen wings that are dry as a bone enjoy. Same goes for the best burger in Tahoe . I ve been to Tahoe 20+ times, this place was hands down the worst.

A bit slow on the service but the chili was awesome.

Nice little spot to grab a drink and snack across from the beach. They have some nice brews on tap. The fruity Mango Cart beer (light Wheat Ale) from SoCal s Golden Road Brewery was super delicious and a must try, perfect as a summer refresher. Shoestring fries were perfectly crispy and went well with their house aioli.

I have been there twice now and the service is excellent. I have health issues that make it hard to find something that I can eat. The wait staff will take the time to figure out what they can do to accommodate. They are conversational and upbeat.

Over salted my burger because of my skin color. This place is racist. So sad in 2016 people can't see me for my great personality and my big heart.

Great food very friendly TV all around down home style of place

Worst experience so far, Waiting for an hour to get our meal...feel cancelling the order and eat somewhere in Tahoe city. These guys are so slow so slow that it makes me feel they should say bring your own food, out of around 5 dishes that we order we only got our drinks and one plate onion rings freaking cold onion rings. Bad very bad experience

Haven't had a bad experience, second time in a row. They make the best fish and chips! Coleslaw and onion rings are delicious!

Awesome Karaoke night! Careful with the alcohol prices, tho. They went up as the night went on. Not cool!

One of my favorite places in Kings Beach. Beers are cheap and the food is good. I love the wings in the smoky blue burger. Luke has been there forever and he s one of the coolest and nicest bartenders in all of North Lake Tahoe. Karaoke on Thursday and Sunday nights is always cracking! Gotta love livin the lowlife in Tahoe!

Almost hate to post a 5-star review, would like to keep it to ourselves but we had a GREAT experience! The affordable burgers were seriously amazing! 3 of us had the Southwest burgers which were delicious! Our server, Andrew, added to the positive vibe of the place. We will make the trip over from Incline to eat here often!!! It's not fancy and it's not health food, just our kind of place. The fries could be improved would be my only suggestion.

24 year old bartender/self-proclaimed owner and 24 year local only wants local burnt out business. He was rude to our group of 6 before we even walked in and then continued to make it clear we weren t welcome since we weren t locals. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I usually don t post bad reviews about a restaurant even if when I am not happy about the food or service, but I felt compelled to share my thoughts on the treatment me and my guests received at this restaurant. I took my parents in law to the beautiful Lake Tahoe to visit and when it was time to have lunch we found this restaurant on the web, the reviews were quite good. We ordered food and it was delicious. Just before the incident I am going to talk about My parents in law were raving about how nice and welcoming the American people are. My father in law asked the server politely if he can switch his glass of coke with another glass that had less ice. The server took the glass and splashed the coke with the ice onto the ground next to our chairs and told my father in law fine you will get a glass of coke without ice . My father in law was visibly upset for the rest of the stay and he asked if he can talk with the manager. Unfortunately the manager was very rude and told my father in-law and my wife if you don t like our treatment then just leave . My wife started to explain why they were upset, the manager became even more agitated and told us to leave and he didn t need our business.

I usually don't write bad reviews but this one is an exception. We were looking for a place to eat after parasailing. We were sat promptly once table was available. We looked over the menu and decided what we wanted. We were looking around to give someone a hint that we were ready to order. After no one came by I put the menus at the side of table. But no one saw that hint either. We were starting to get irritated. So we let the hostess know that we were ready to order. She informed us that your food server will notified. He finally came by and took our order. He didn't ask my fiance how to she wanted her tri tip cooked for salad. When the food arrived her tri tip was over cooked. My mushroom and swiss burger and fries were good. Our food server didnt come by to check on us. It have been nice since we needed more water. We finally asked the hostess for more water. Even though we were done, he didn't ask if we wanted anything else. We sat at out table for awhile and no one came by with the check. My fiance asked the hostess for the check. Some time passed by no one brought our check. So I let her know that we havent received the check and have been sitting here for awhile waiting for it. The hostess brought our check not the our food server. She asked if she wanted me to wait for the card and I said, "yeah please". She brought back my card and credit card authorization slips. Our food server had poor customer service. It felt like he didnt want to be there. I feel the hostess deserves the tip not the food server. We will NEVER eat there again.

The service was really bad here. It took about an hour to receive our food. The waiters did not come around to refill any of our drinks. The food is just ok. If you want to wait a long time to eat food here, this is the place.

Kids are outlawed at this place, but somehow begging ass dogs are not? I definitely should not have a pitbull drooling on my boots while I'm trying to enjoy my lunch!

I mean seriously! Bringing your dog inside a place that is serving food is a bad idea, at least keep it on a leash!

From the first moment you step in that place the personel give you a pleasant feeling. Very warm crew, it is a lovely restaurant to pass time with friends and colleagues or with your date. tasty cooking, qualified chef, modest cost and nice service. Warmly recommended.

The Grid has a super location, and would be poised to really lock it in. A small amount of of cosmetic work, ( paint,fix the flooring and some detail work) should go so far to capture clients. Food is decent!
