The food was quite expensive and not that great my hamburger fell apart as I ate it I guess it's because I don't drink alcohol and noticed this situation up front it's just my opinion though

This place is not very "LA" at all. It's awesome. I wish it was closer to my house. Not pretentious, good food and casual. If you're going for food, check the specials which often feature new and fun items.

There is a huge beer selection and though they don't have a "mixologist's" chip on their shoulder, these bartenders can make you a good cocktail if that is your fancy.

The Greyhound is another in a long list of overly expensive bars that now populate York and Figueroa. This one does seem to have a fairly decent food menu and beer selection, as well as a few wines and cocktails, compared to most. I also like the approach they've taken to the sports playing over the bar (allowing patrons to tune in via an app) which allows me to keep an eye on the game without it being disruptive. It's a fairly nice place to meet (if a little bland). Unfortunately this is all marred by a few factors.

When I walked into the Greyhound I was assailed with an incredible chemical odor. I was totally baffled as to what this could be, presuming that they had just mopped the floors, or aggressively cleaned the bathroom. However, the smell continued to persist even after a reasonable amount of time. Luckily, the person I was meeting there showed up and immediately remarked "Wow, smells like they share a vent with the nail salon next door". So yeah, the Greyhound smells like a nail salon.

This means that all of the $7-$17 per item food and drink you order is going to be tinged with the smell of nail polish. The food descriptions were enticing, and we did buy an (overcarbonated) beer each, but any hunger I had was quickly put off by the disgusting smell. This begs the question: why build a "gastropub" next to such a pungent neighbor? It doesn't really matter how 'seriously' you take the bar food you serve if my money is basically partially wasted going in.

So, maybe the food is good. But I didn't stick around to find out, and I don't see myself returning, either.

Only been once for a football game. Bar wasn t too packed and the bartender that first helped me was great, she was super accommodating with my happy hour request though I wasn t sure if it would be since it wasn t on menu per say. When helped by another bartender later, though, I was met with rudeness at requesting the same drink, and then complete confusion as he instead recommended a beer that they didn t even have, while still being pretty arrogant about the whole thing. The woman that first helped me came back and apologized for the confusion, which I appreciated, but that dude has a serious attitude problem when I was merely confused at the bar s inconsistencies in price and policy. Friends got food and we re not impressed. But for watching sports we ll probably be back.

I am not usually a "Bar Guy" these days but, I was really in the mood for a drink and a bite to eat. I was with a friend and he always goes to the Greyhound and I had never been so, we went. I had a slow-cooked Guinness Beef sandwich served with Au Jus that was so damn good, I had to drink it! A side of fully loaded fries and a cold dark stout and I was in heaven! This place is a great place to watch the game or just hang out and I hear cheap-ass chicken wings late night, I have to try!

The Greyhound Bar & Grill is my favorite Greyhound Bar location on the west coast. The facilities are always clean and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Always excited to take a class there!

Solid sports bar. I had their wings, and through the wings themselves were the right amount of crispy and juicy, the flavoring(sauce) was mild in flavor. I ordered the honey sriracha, and I couldn't taste a hint of sriracha. Not bad, just not special. The fries were good. The burger my friend had was solid. Good drink specials. Pub like atmosphere.

I dig the The Greyhound Bar & Grill! We went here for a friend's birthday and had a good time. It was a Friday night and they had a live band playing well known hits which added to the fun vibe.

Very good joint for locals like me. Could be epic with a more expansive beer selection, some sound absorbing acoustics (gets loud) and more healthy food /salad choices for the yoga girls.

Delicious wings a great rotations for draught beer selections. I got the iwbc Gose. They had Nitro Dark Star from Fremont Brewing and lots of good IPA choices. The wings were bomb, did I mention? Can't wait to try more things in the food menu.

Great local bar. Has adequate space and serves up good drinks. The food menu is not bad at all. During game days they televise local football and baseball. They also offer drink and food specials during games.

This is in Highland Park so the vibe and people are very hipsters. And the prices can be a bit much for some of the food and drinks but it s now a norm around these parts.

If you are going to view a football or baseball game do come a bit early as it does get to occupancy at times.

Good basic drink specials, especially when the dodgers are playing. The chili fries and wings are great. The bartenders don't seem to know many off-menu cocktails, so best to stick with what's on the menu, which are delish.

I didn't like this location. The place is in Highland Park. Ugly area that wannabe hipsters are flocking to for now. The area is still very ghetto and nothing is upscale. Simply Ugly. The service that I experienced was from a female bar tender that rude and in a bad mood. Her attitude was undeniable. The wall decorations are very random and stupid. I don't recommend this location to anyone.

Dont eat the wings! The wings were the worst I have ever had. They were mushy and lacked any flavor. I ordered them with garlic & parmesan as and I expected them to be crispy so I can dip them. No chance with the wings provided. The most enjoyable part of the order were the carrots & celery sticks. I also ordered the Chili Cheese fries. The chili tasted like it came out of a can. Dont get me wrong, I will be back for the cocktails, just not the food. I wonder what happened to this place. It was once very good. Thank God the area is going through a period of rejuvenation, as there are plenty of other restaurants to discover. BTW I ate just 4 of the wings and threw away the remaining 6. After two bites of the fries they also ended up in the trash. And I ended up with an upset stomach. My opinion of the restaurant has changed with time.

Really, a characterful soccer watching bar. Sophisticated cocktailery if you would like to stray from beer. Excellent bar-food noshing options. Dark saloon-like interior. Screens that are above other people's heads and large. Hooks under the bar.

I am not sure they have good Wifi nor outlets for charging, which are both outdated considering soccer watching needs running commentaries from the Interwebs.

Above all good ambience and very friendly animated bar tenders.

OMG Chef Chuc and the crew made our dining experience enjoyable. The service this pub gives to families is superb. Hard to find spots that allow kids to enjoy the sports atmosphere with a parent.

The beyond beef burger is one of the better vegan burgers I ve tried. They smash it thin so it s a bit crispy and whatever seasoning they use takes it up a notch. Too bad a burger and fries will cost you around $20. Beware of Eagles game day. The place is bananas.

We have been in several times but I don't get that welcoming vibe when we are there. Rumored to be owned by the force behind Father's Office, the burger is good but not as good. I think the menu is okay overall but certainly not great for the price. This is Highland Park not Culver City. There has been a turn-over off staff, customer service improved but it still lacked that ? The burger/beer deal is great for $8 on Dodger game nights but you have to like Schlitz?? It's time to change it up in there...even if they just arrived to York Blvd.

Great Dodgers bar with a wonderful happy hour and blue hour (during Dodgers games) specials. A great selection of beer on tap with rotating taps of dark, hoppy, DIPA and sours. The burgers are especially good. People often mention the wings. Not my cup of tea generally but they live up to the hype.
