Since the refurbishment Crown Point has seemed to really liven up. Lots of seating available, including a conservatory area at the back.

Options for both a carvery and alternate menu. Usually go for the carvery but went for the alternate menu last time which was really excellent. Only downside to the food I find is the potatoes can be a bit overdone for my tastes. Puddings available too. All for a very good price.

Pool table and seating area available but usually busy. Best to book on weekends as it gets really busy during peak times.

Fairly decent parking area on site, so long as customers park considerately.

For years it did a great Carvery. On our last visit a couple of weeks ago it was doing an amazing alternative Menu instead. But it's just having a refit. I'm sure it'll be even nicer afterwards! Looking forward to seeing the new Menu Traditional looking restaurant pub in a beautiful woodland setting, with easy road access

Ordered starters, no nachos available, no halloumi fries available, ordered garlic bread instead came out barely cooked. Ordered mains, no rice available for curry, no fish cakes either. Ordered 4 carverys , well to say it was barely edible is being kind, dried up cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes and mash. Rock hard yorkshires and parsnips. Ordered puddings, only enough stuff for 1 mint sundae, waffle was so hard couldnt cut with spoon. And to top it all in the bar area were a group who appeared to know one of the members of staff, talking loudly, which in itself not a problem, but every other word was fu**ing or c**t . So nice atmosphere! Will def not be going back here again, god knows what happened to it as used to be a lovely place

Food good...but really strange place. Walked in, waiting to be seated, three members of staff just ignored us standing there. No one said 'just a minute' 'we'll be with you shortly", just ignored. My other two companions would have left, I was hungry!

Appalling service, stopd for 40 minutes in a queue for carvery only to find half the veg missing and never replaced. Meat was nice though.
Spoke with manager who told us it was our own fault for not being quicker and there really wasnt anything she could do. 4 hours into pur 3 course meal desert arrived. The manager offered us 20% off and a free round of drinks. For 13 people this amounted to 4 glasses of wine and lemonade was extra. The manager then back tracked on the 20% off as she wouldnt make any money.
Whilst complaining another lady come to complain, the manager told me my delay was the other ladies fault...right infront of her, as they took all the food.
Waitresses however were pleasant and attentive

Had a lovely Sunday roast at the crown point Inn on 17 /3/13 at seal road Sevenoaks.
The only disappointments were the slow service and a bit shy with the meat and some of the roast potatoes were hard but all in all good value for money

Terrible! we have visited several times but will certainly not be returning. The restaurant was dirty the carvery had run out of most meat joints ,we were seated in the conservatory next to a family who were so rude.we moved tables eventually but not one member of staff offered to carry our drinks or help us move, the waitresses insisted on calling everyone Darling and sweetheart!! Unfortunately the restaurant has changed from our previous experiences and was awful.i had to give it one star otherwise it wouldn't allow me to post my review.

Bad service infact no service cramped table could barely get in to sit due to posts , meat dry vegetables mushy no staff to be seen, not told where to go for carvery ,had to wait for someone to arrive to give us any meat .even though restaurant was empty on a sunday so no excuse !!! Waiter Took some almost full plates away wasnt asked how meal was ... children wanted desserts but no one came to take any orders so we paid and left ... awful customer service only plus was the lady serving meat on carvery was friendly . When we left chef was sitting in bar chatting to staff probably why we weren't served ! On a sunday thought a carvery would be packed ... shall go back to toby carvery in future . Disappointed !

I said I'd never go back after a disaster on boxing day 2017 and I haven't until last night . The fact at short notice they could accommodate a party of 10 should have been enough warning but I wasn't arranging it. The venue is nice, the meal was ok the service and attitude is shocking as the staff would rather chat to and serve the few regulars before even acknowledging I was waiting to be served , and maybe the reason on a Saturday night it wasn't busy. That was my last time and will never again step foot in the crown point and suggest you look elsewhere, where you and your hard earned money are valued.

We visited Crown Point on Sunday for lunch and were impressed by the carvery and value for money. The roast was served by a cheerful redhead lady and tasted wonderful. We had a look at their main menu, as advised by the carvery server and found really good deals. Therefore excellent value for money throughout the week.. Overall we enjoyed our meal and would definitely return.

Sunday lunch how you want it. Traditional Sunday roast with all the trimmings. We had a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Mostly family groups like ourselves. Would go again. I recommend The Crown Point.

One lovely lady taking orders at the bar for drinks, food and also serving - no other staff on site on a Saturday night. Our drinks took 45 minutes to arrive. 4 out of 5 of us had to choose different meals as original choices were not available. After waiting 2 hours for food (with no update on timings) - we went to cancel our order at the bar - at this point we were told another one of the meals was unavailable anyway. We left hungry and disappointed. Awful communication, service and shall not be going back :(

Unfortunately the food wasnt what I expected, i ordered the whisky bbq duck salad (can't remember it's full name-but was told its like TGIfridays duck salad) and when it arrived with wraps and a butterfly duck breast on onions and peppers and world's smallest pinch of salad I had to check with the staff 'is this the duck salad.. Yes they said'. It was basically duck wraps and I didn't even see them on the menu.. Albeit, it did taste OK. The staff were nice and polite but the service seemed a bit slow. We got told to not have the carvery as its 'seen better days' the dessert was good.

This place used to be 5 stars, now I'd avoid at all costs. We visited today 27/10/19, a large party of 23 which we booked months in advance. We booked as you could never normally get in on a Sunday for a carvery. Today the alarm bells should have rung as at 1345 we could have got a table for all of us 2 or 3 times over.

The issues were numerous unfortunately, only Turkey left on the carvery at 1400 on a Sunday and mass unavailability on the main menu. They ran out of gammon, steak and a few other things. The manager said they hadn't ordered as much meat for the menu as the carvery was on. She also said they had run out of beef, gammon and pork in the carvery as they hadn't anticipated so many people choosing those options.

The service at the bar was slow and poor. The managers husband had to look at the front of the bar to work out which beer was in which pump. The manager when taking an order for a child's desert was asked to leave the ice-cream off as the child had an allergy. She then said well I'm not happy about giving them anything they might die, look I have a folder.

The food came out at wildly different times (large party so excusable). However the dishes were inconsistent, 4 people ordered the same dish all 4 looked different, 2 contained raw onions as a bed for the meat the others had cooked onions.

Such a shame that the place has gone down hill as it was great and had a great carvery with decent service.

We just got back from dinner at the Crown Point and we had a lovely meal. Excellent value for money and beautifully cooked. We all had scamp and chips. The chips were homemade and delicious. Really nice and friendly staff and my dog was welcome so that's always a bonus. We will definatly return.

Visited yesterday lunchtime less than 15 people eating. We were shown to our table by person who served us at the bar and there we sat. No-one came near, so we decided to just have the carvery. Two people were being served at the carvery so we waited until they had been served got up to find the chef had gone! We stood there for another 5 minutes and eventually a waitress appeared and asked if we had a table. We told her we had but no-one had bothered to come near us whilst sitting there and were now waiting for someone to serve us our meat choices (only 2) she called to the chef who came out a minute later and to be fair he did apologise for keeping us waiting. Vegetables were bit dried up meat a bit tough. Decided to leave no-one to ask re bill so paid at the bar. Ladies loo out of order and looked as if it had been for sometime judging by the notice. Would not visit again.
