Unfortunately got there after main restaurant closed so could only have sandwiches. Bread was very dry and crisps were stale. The dog enjoyed them though!

Service however was excellent as was the coffee. Hopefully will be able to give more stars when we go for a full meal

Always a fabulous place to eat with great staff, but this year we took our children to see santa, and these guys have worked so hard to make it the most magical experience possible.

We have a son with profound learning difficulties and they made it so easy for him to access Santa. Appointments so no queues, and santas house is perfect. Plus santa himself was amazing with all the children but handled my non verbal special needs child beautifully. A magical experience that I will never forget. Thank you so much.

Servixe OK but I ordered Lasgne and when it came the whole bowl was liquid and nothing like Lasagne. I was told that they were all like that so clearly they don't know how to make it. I was offered a free fish dish ( Fish and chips ) which I accepted.

Great garden centre, with some lovely plants they are grown onsite and extremely reasonable price. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and always happy to stop and have a chat. They have a lovely selection of David Austin Rose's on offer. The giftwear area is well set out and easy to shop. No visit to this place is complete with tea and a scone for us in the restaurant. This is worth a visit regardless of the time of year.

Not a happy bunny. Turned up at quarter to 3 and waited for a waitress to notice us. After 10 minutes got a waitress to notice us but before she got to us was collared by another guest and then forgot about us. Went to the bar to say we wanted to order food. When the waitress came over, 3 minutes past 3 and told us the kitchen was shut and couldn't do any food. I think the food stops at 3 and they wouldn't budge. Obviously don't need the local support. As I said, not happy.

Great quite campsite with access to mountain restaurant and gardencentre, we got a great discount with free tea and coffee and the food is lush and cakes to die for!
Would recommend this place and would stay here again.

Used to be called the Grange. New name, staff seem to be the same, food as good as before. Try their scones, one will feed two unless of course you like huge portions. They also have a CL at the back which is well kept and booked through the shop (A CL is a Caravan Club certified site for a maximum of 5 caravans)
