A fantastic place for a family meal. The place evokes warm and a traditional Scottish setup with lots of sections for individuals or family who either likes a quiet corner or a rowdy family meal. Didn't expect to find a super juicy rib eye steak done exactly what we ordered. Desserts just yummy and price is good.

A fabulous meal and excellent service. We found this pub 4 years ago and this was the first time back in the area since and the standard was just as good as our first time. Thanks to the owners.

Made a reservation online and showed up 45 min later to be seated at a great table that felt like our own private dining room. Food and service both great, reasonable prices...will definitely return.

One of Scotland's best kept secrets resides in Gargunnock. The Gargunnock Inn is a delightful example of classic Scottish ambience in a small village setting. The menu is relatively sophisticated for most palettes and the beverages on hand will satisfy nearly any drinker. Portion sizes are good and prices are completely reasonable. The beer garden is an excellent place to unwind and relax. Gargunnock Inn is not on the main roads out of Stirling but is a short drive from the city and well worth the effort to visit. Parking is readily available on the street immediately opposite the premises. Well worth a visit

We stopped at the Gargunnock Inn for lunch. We had just toured Stirling castle and were on our way to a whisky distillery and wanted to fill our tummies. This is relatively easy to find. It is off the main road and is kind of isolated. But More

A great village pub, that serves freshly cooked food, has craft beers, head different things on through the week. Is reputation is good enough that not only do the villagers eat and drink here regularly, but they have regulars that come from neighbouring villages, towns and cities!

Cozy pub in the center of Gargunnock. The house is very inconspicuous from the outside, you have to look carefully to find it straight away. The service was very friendly and helpful, the pub is very child-friendly. The dishes were consistently too heavily seasoned with pepper for our taste, but freshly cooked.

Stopped here for lunch, getting away from the crowded parking situation in Stirling, and was rewarded with a superb, hearty meal of delicious courgette soup (zucchini!), and light, flaky haddock in comfortable, rustic atmosphere.

We hadn't booked but the staff quickly sorted a table for the 12 of us. Service was brisk and friendly. The food was excellent and there was ample choice for everyone with special diets being well catered for.
Prices are reasonable. We will definitely be back.

We were just passing through as tourists and found this place to be very dog friendly and the staff could not have made us feel more welcome. Great food very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.

This is a hidden gem. Just of the main road of the A811 to Stirling, you will be rewarded handsomely if you divert into the burgh of Gargunnock and find yourself at the village inn. A charming and cosy venue invites you in to relax and enjoy yourself. A genuine and warm welcome awaits you as you settle down for a truly amazing meal. The menu captivates you from the start as you ponder which delight takes your fancy. If you have a dining partner to share with, then this makes choices a little easier, as narrowing down your decision can prove difficult with such tempting fayre. Just when you think you have settled on a favoured dish, you will notice the specials of the day and find yourself reconsidering with even more of a dilemma. Already you know, that you will need to come back and visit again even though a morsel of food has yet to pass your lips.
Nothing disappoints, the service you receive is attentive and efficient as drinks are soon in hand whilst awaiting your meal to arrive. You can hear the bustle and catch fleeting glimpses of the kitchen staff through the open hatch, as they go about their work bringing together your order
Finally, service, along with a smile, presents you with food, even more tempting than what was imagined. A starter that surpasses and leads to an even greater expectation of the main, which silly arrives and knocks your socks off.
It's always great to explore, especially when you uncover little gems like this place. See you again soon Gargunnock inn, we love you!
