Such a wonderful pub, the food was amazing and the staff are lovely. The outside seated area is delightful and it has heating. Would definitely go again.

Food and service was amazing. Was a bit cold in the late afternoon/evening, but we currently have to sit outside.

What a Gem! Went for a walk and stumbled across this little beauty! Staff are incredibly friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the food and drinks they serve. The food... well just delightfully delicious! We had a grouse starter which was beautiful. For mains the steak gnocchi and duck sausages both were lovely dishes. Definitely will be returning to this gorgeous restaurant and would advise if you fancy something scrumdidliumptious head over there. Also the decor is a classy mix of old wooden beams and mood lighting. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Fantastic lunching experience at the Gamekeepers. Super tasty and good looking dishes enjoyed in their outdoor seating area. All staff really friendly and knowledgeable, and mask-wearers! We had a mixture of dishes from the starters menu, the goat's cheese salad and Thai fishcakes were the highlights for sure. Lovely attention to detail in what we saw of the inside, a choice of three hand soaps in the immaculate bathrooms hint that this is a very quality-focused place. We'll be back!!

Went for lunch and all the staff were so lovely and helpful. The food was to die for. We will definitely be back.

Have been here on numerous occasions and the food is really good. Gamekeepers Hash and the Scotch Egg are both amazing starters. Phil the landlord always makes an effort to suggest options for kids (they do a generous fish or chicken goujons + chips which my kids both enjoyed). The fillet steak and the venison are both excellent. My son loves the chocolate brownie + vanilla ice cream and i really enjoyed the summer fruits cheese cake. There's always interesting specials and the only disappointment was that the sticky toffee pudding was so popular that they had run out when we went to order dessert. Nonetheless excellent food, lovely outdoor seating, friendly staff and a good rural pub atmosphere. Well worth a trip.

If you can find it you are in for a fun night out in a bustling hot spot buzzing with a good looking crowd sharing dishes at reasonable prices. It s cozy so definitely make a reservation. Everything on the menu is good so you may want to just order most of the dishes to share. About 3 per person average and then adjust up or down depending on how hungry you are.
