You spend more time waiting for someone to scare you then they do. Not sure what the first few minutes are supposed to do. Other the let you down when you realize no actors were in that section to scare you. Way over priced

Extremely over priced when compared to other haunted houses nearby. Large portions involve you walking around in the dark without scares. The end just dumps you out into part of the building without direction towards an exit. Appears to be minimally staffed at best. Repeatedly ran into the group ahead of us. Actors spent more time giving us directions than actually scaring us. Spent $80 on maybe a 15 minute walk through the whole haunted house. Bates Motel and Eastern State penitentiary are significantly better and less than a 1/2 hour drive from this "haunt". Cannot comprehend why this one has been featured on television shows.

Even waiting outside in line to get in is fun! They have actors coming around scaring people all over the place. This year I even felt a little queasy in certain part of the haunted house (and that's hard to accomplish with me!!) Love it! One of the only haunts I've attended more than once.

Pretty scary. If you don't want corn mazes and hayrides this is purely indoor. Very very dark. Lots of blind navigation. They do not touch here. Alot of different settings to explore which is nice but they are short. Usually u get herded like cattle but the spacing was very good for my group of 6. But that means if you are waiting in line you will definitely be waiting longer even if it doesn't look long.

Being closing weekend it's was empty practically but for me is a more personal experience. The actors are good and obviously have pitch black to their advantage. My wife likes it so we will be going back.

Corny Hayride , timed tickets really don't matter because nobody enforces it. No good merchandise, the prison has a lot of potential, the hayride moves too fast but I like that they have a security person on the back.

To the person who inquire if 14 year olds could go , my 25 year old daughter recently went with her husband also same age, the actors were very aggressive and extremely rude, the experience gave my daughter anxiety , at which point my son_in law explained this to them and the actors were very ignorant I nor them would refer the fright factory to anyone, let alone 14 year old young teenagers

The experience was really short lived. Our group was really disappointed at how short it was. The fun part was walking in complete darkness for the first little bit had you thinking something was lurking around.

HORRIBLE! way to short for what they charge. The whole experience does not even last 25 minutes and for $35.00 dollars a ticket it's nowhere close to being worth the money. Not enough actors ethier, we kept waiting for people to jump out but it never happened. Maybe 3 actors total jumped out and the rest just stood there. Way better attractions in the area so find somewhere else. Dont waste your time! I've seen home haunts better then this that are free.

This haunt is scary awesome! Each room has a specific and well thought out theme with a ton of detail to make you feel like you re in that moment. The actors are incredible! There are two in particular who were manipulating their voices that stood out. They both scared the lights out of me but I definitely appreciate the talent that goes in to that! Overall a great time and one I could go to again and again. In fact, I ve been there twice in two weeks! Make sure you check this place out!!

I when on 10/30/2017 And had a surprisingly good time. I think this place would be good for little kids( 8 AND UP).The price point Is exactly where it needs to be for a one attraction. Will be goimg back next year.

Great haunt this year (2017). The line is always long so be prepared to wait, but it's so worth it! Staff is friendly, the actors are really into it and interact with folks waiting in line. Once you're in the haunt you'll be walking along lots of twisting corridors and through themed rooms (watch out for uneven spots in the floor). They can't touch you, and you can't touch them, be prepared to jump and be startled. The motion sensor stuff is great, the fog & laser room made me scream which is a high compliment for a haunt, it's my first one in three years!

The ticket booth staff was great about me using my Groupon, it's a good deal if it's available. Bring a group so you have friends to chat with while you wait. Can't wait to see next year's factory!

2020 edit:

2020 edit:

Much better this year, still has a lot of room for improvement, but it is noticeably being improved. My biggest problem this year was with all the pot smoking. Smelled like pot in some spots inside the haunt, in the beginning hallway you get your picture taken in, and when we finished the haunt and passed through the store area the 2 people were actively smoking pot in the store crouching down behind the counter and stood up before exhaling when our group entered the store. Lose a star there. If not for that, would be a solid 4 star haunt.

Not great, drove 2 hours for a 15 minute haunt. Couldn t distinguish when one attraction ended and another began. Bland props, scene sequence didn t make sense. Some actors were really good, others bland. Would have been fun if I lived close for something quick to do, but a little expensive for what you get. Oh, and some of the animatronics didn t work.

extremely disappointing.

extremely disappointing.

The haunters would jump out and scare the first two people in the group before anyone else could enter the room. (mine was a group of 6). The entire time it was basically just watching the two people in front get scared. my gf and i were 3rd and 4th in the line.... i sure feel bad for the couple that was behind us.

Atmosphere was boring better off going to one of the others ones that are outside where you can hang out in between attractions.

Dont waste your time and money.

EDIT: no

EDIT: no

Personal experience working for a company that doesn't care about their actors or their customers. If you ever wondered why they seemed understaffed its because people are leaving from poor treatment. Sorry you all spend so much money and end up so disappointed. I wasnt one of the best actors but I've seen what we all went through before and after every night. If you wanna soend the money to go, dont let anyone stop you. But unless you can handle constant belittling then this job isnt for you either.

I'm actually one of the actors in this Haunted Attraction and I am truly happy with the way things went this year even though it was a bit rough with the entire Covid19 pandemic. But it was a great season and honestly one of the best Haunted Attractions in the Philadelphia area. I recommend that anyone and everyone that didn't have a chance to come over and experience the scares screams and shear terror this year, to get ready for next year and as soon as late September comes to purchase a ticket or more. I am absolutely sure that you will enjoy it and tell your friends and family to come over and experience it for themselves.

We had a great time but it was kind of short. For 35 bucks a head you would expect to be entertained for more than 20 or 25 minutes. With that said it is probably one of the better haunted attractions we have been to. The actors are great, the scenes they create are also well done. They had a couple of really awesome rooms. One with a spinning barrel that made you feel like you were walking on the walls. And my favorite was a room where they used lasers and fog to mimic a swamp. The had actors hiding under the "water" and they can be right next to you and you would not know. Made for some good jump scares.

As soon as we entered a room my sister got scared by the actors and ran into a sharp table they had in the room by splitting her leg open she needed to get stitches. It felt rushed we went in as a group and ended up running into a few other groups , it wasn't fun anymore

Fright factory was great! My only gripe was the line! They had an option to pay $10 extra and get VIP entry skip the line, themore people paid the longer the rest of us who bought in advance and live on a budget had to wait. The line was sooooo boring: see below for ideas.

When you put on a good show there will be a line! So plan for it!!!! Give us something to do! Play a horror movie on a projector. Play music. Have a coffee truck. Have actors come out for some scares. More porta potties!!

My family and i go to a different haunted attraction every year. This year i choose this one. After reading all of the reviews it looked really good and siked myself out about getting so scared. I hide behind my fiance the whole time waiting and waiting for all of these horrifying things to happen like others have mentioned. And within 15 minutes it was over. I was so disappointed. More then half the time your walking through black hallways with no action. A person pops out here and there. You walk into a room with a couple bloody painted objects and thats it.

Not a fan of this place at all. I paid 35 dollars for VIP tickets to be in there for only 15 minutes. They advertised 3 attractions and it was really only one. I've been to better hunted houses that have scared the pants off of me and this is not one of them and I'm extremely scary.

The people who work there genuinely care about the experience that their crowds have and their safety of course. Security is on the grounds both inside and outside. No they do not touch. Sometimes you get bumped into but its usually your own group members or a prop, or the wall that you just walked into.

Friendly and approachable, the staff aims to please and will definitely listen to your questions, comments and compliments or concerns. All you have to do is enter with an open mind and appreciate the efforts.

Three separate themed areas in one large industrial warehouse, there is bound to be at least one iconic room that you will enjoy. From clowns to zombies, demon dolls to crazy asylum patients.....there are tons of opportunities. The athleticism of some actors there REALLY stands out from other haunts that I have been to. Pull ups and slides on the floor...jumping on counters and such.

Prepare for the scares but also for laughter, many of the actors will answer back and interact and take the time to personalize, when they can. Keep in mind though..other groups are creeping up behind you and they deserve scares as well!

Take your time and enjoy the details too....lots of people when scared will run or put their heads down. Don't! Take in the decor in each room. It really is worth it to go in smaller groups....less than 6 is ideal to really spread out those jump scared.

I LOVE all things horror and haunts are my jam. I find that people who approach haunts with a sense of humor and appreciation have a better time. I have read as many comments and reviews as I could find and to be honest.....the good reviews are spot on and many of the bad ones are just reflective of people who either didnt even approach the owners to talk about issues or people who walked into the haunt with negativity.

Parking is pretty good ..some right at the attraction and a ton in a parking area right down the street.

Tell the owner who you enjoyed! Tell them where the best scares, costumes, makeup, decor and actors are! They really love to hear it!

And finally....I hope you have fun.

Oh...OFFER TO VOLUNTEER if you are interested in seeing how it is done!
