The Fresh Market Review

I love, love, love Fresh Market! As soon as I walk in the door, the aroma entrances me! The beautiful flowers, fresh fruit, savory smells, and specialty coffees. I just love it. As always the fresh foods and hard to find specialty food make me happy! The customer service is excellent. In particular today, a cashier named Horace was so helpful and courteous today. He shared with my mother and I that Fresh Market was a great place to work! What an above and beyond advertisement he was. Thank you so much for a great visit today!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean, fresh environment and the products are always of best quality and taste.

Great meat selection, fresh fruit selections and prepared foods. It's a small specialty store but the fruit, vegetable, prepared foods and meats section is better than all the local high end grocery stores. They even have premium steaks and short ribs.

We purchased the essential Thanksgiving meal- the food was okay, tasty enough but I was expecting it to be a little better. Haven't eaten the pie yet but it smells like it's going to be delicious!

Most disappointing. This is the best place to come and get fresh veggies spring rolls and I drive from High Point to do so. Today I was surprised at the treatment I received. I stood in line as the cashier greeted the man in line, gave him his total and thanked him as she handed him his receipt. She did the same for the lady in front of me, but when I stepped up she just rang up my things and looked at me. I glanced down at the total and paid for my things and she handed me my receipt and said thanks. As I was walking away I heard her greet the gentleman behind me with the same kindness she did the other people; she said I how are you. So I glanced back. I will not call it racial profiling but out of the 4 invloved in this summary, I'm the only one that's black.

Safe place to shop. The only place I feel comfortable in since self quarantined on March 6. Their curbside pick up with Instacart is good, too. I'm still self quarantined especially since Phase 2 but can go here now to pick out my own meat and vegetable items.

Good prices, great food. Check out could use some improvement, but the variety here is phenomenal. The pastries, the sushi, etc. I have to stop by when I am in the area.

I go mainly for meat and fish. The deli is also very good.

Every Tuesday ground chuck and boneless skinless chicken breast on sale 2.99lb. Great taste and top quality best in town!

Expensive place but awesome variety in beer and food. Love the cookies they make fresh, the sugar cookies with the chocolate in the middle are awesome. Can also get a 10 inch chocolate cake for $18 and have them write a small bday message on it, much better than trying to order from a speciality shop.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and the food is good and worth the trip.

We bought a turkey from The Fresh Market and the instructions say to bake the turkey for 4 hours at 325 and 6 hours later its still not cooked. This is the worst experience ever. I've always bought my turkey every year but this is the last time. What has happened to the Fresh Market. I put the turkey in the oven at 12 and it's 7 pm and my family is still waiting. Very disappointing.

I've shaped at fresh market since they opened. Always fresh, always healthy and worth the extra few pennies to me. Their recent expansion adds a new dimension to the store!

The Fresh Market is ONLY my FAVORITE place to shop for food! I LOVE it!

Upscale Grocery Store loaded with specialty items. They once carried somewhat better variety, but now they have more items under the Store's Name Brand which is limited. Good Meats & Seafood, Deli, Bakery & limited Floral items, (-mostly orchids). Checkout help is excellent & you seldom, if ever, have a long wait. Staff is very accommodating as well. They also have weekly specials worth checking out..

A big step above other grocery stores in Greensboro.

It's a lovely environment in which to shop. Prices are hit or miss, depending on what you purchase, although prices have become more competitive in recent years.

It was the first time I visited this place. I felt humiliated when this person at checkout enquired if I had paid for the free fruit my kids had picked. If you doubt your customers so much then kindly keep the free fruit at the exit .

It all looks so yummy, and you better be able to pay for it

They always have a great variety of foods I cannot find at other stores. Their produce selection is wonderful.

An attractive store, but the customer service is awful. Good luck getting a department to pick up...you might be on hold for 15 minutes.

Its like fairyland. It has so many wonderful things from which to choose.

Double the price for the same national brand next door!

The food is always fresh and so delicious! The is always helpful and kind. You pay a tad more, but if you catch the specials, you're paying about the same as if you went to some of the other grocery stores. It's money well spent.

Excellent food though you pay a bit more for the quality.

This store is ok, it's not all that it should be. A lot of the customers that shop here regularly are well to do people with bad manners an I guess the employees just take on the customers adittudes," the are people to." They had want I wanted, I got in an an out without any major problems so I will keep going back.

Everyone is so kind, love there good selection and quality. Yep I'm a regular customer!!!

The customer service at the meat and seafood departments at this and the Highwoods location is subpar. I usually call in advance to find out if a particular item is available. The call transfer to the either department is never picked up, hold time can exceed 10 min and/or the call is cycled back to the main line. I've written to corporate and no reply. This is very disappointing.

It is always a good experience when I go to Fresh Market.

Coffee, meats, fresh cut deli. Pay a little more for quality but it is the best.
