My chicken was dry and tasteless and the sweet potato casserole didn't sit well with me either.

I have been getting the take out plates on Sundays for several weeks. The food is wonderful and they always give hefty portions. Keep up the great work, classmate Smoke.

I finally got to have shrimp bisque in, I can't remember how long it's been! Yummy-luscious! Big variety to choose from. Great desserts. Good food. Very friendly staff.

Listen, for an Excellent Sunday brunch, there's no place better. Such a large, large selection. The quality is always there, and you can tell the Chef takes pride in his food. Along with the super wait staff.... it's a wise Choice.

What to say about a place that has it all!! Wonderful food and service, so very friendly its worth every penny. Never had a bad experience...make reservations, there always busy and this is why..they got the restaurant thing down to a science..love you guys!!

All I can say great for family environment and delicious food

Was there for a repass. First time there. Meal had fried chicken, pot roast, salad, rice , green beans, biscuits, sweet tea, etc.
Very tasty food. Servers were very polite and efficient. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. I would use this place for a banquet.

The hours of this place are limited but if you have a chance to eat here it is a must during your visit to New Bern

Great location and a wonderful spot for get to gatherers with friends and family.

Wait staff and management gets 5 stars for interacting with customers. Food gets 3 to 4 stars. Chairs are stained and needs cleaning. The food is a give and take sometimes its good and then the next pan seems as if an ingredient is missing out of the recipe. Overall i will go back.

The Flame was amazing. We reserved them for our rehearsal dinner and for our reception. The food was amazing, the staff was helpful, and they made sure everyone enjoyed and was taken care of. I will be forever grateful for them making our day so special. Thank you all!!

Nice place for party's friendly workers nice owner but the food is not the same not as good as the past, and the buffet a lot of it was cold and not fresh overall experience was so so

Food today was all cold at 12:45 today, dated February 16 2020, very disappointed as much as you charge, Been coming to your establishment for alot of years. Seriously not wanting to come back. Shame on you serving food cold.

If you want to spend a Sunday afternoon full, happy and sleepy, then spend some time at the Sunday buffet. It features meats, fish, savory casseroles, salads, soups, Vegetables and a huge dessert display. The servers are extremely friendly and helpful. If you are in New Bern on a Sunday, this is definitely the place you want to go for your main meal.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving meal! Everything was very good. BUT, the short ribs and the bread pudding where incredible! Service was beyond great.
We'll be back next year for sure

It's okay but it needs a sign that is noticeable from the road bc that sign on the building is over shadowed.

We've used the Flame to cater on several occasions and they've always done an excellent job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Ate the chicken and barbecue plate today. The barbecue tasted old and now I am having cramps and other disgusting things. Be mindful of what you are serving people.

OH MY GOODNESS!!!!! The Flame caterered my son and his beautiful brides wedding reception and the guests are still talking about it...he left no stoned unturned....it was complete elegance from beginning to end. His staff is one of the most professional I have ever dealt with and the were quick to make wonderful suggestions. Smokes is a dynamic person to work with and his catering director Jennifer does an amazing job at turning out an excellent product! Thanks just seems so inadequate!

Friendly staff, good food, great for medium sized gatherings. Could use more parking for larger groups but location next door is closed so we parked there.

Ambiance great for the event. Buffet selections provided good options for all even those will restricted diets. Over all q very good event.

The best food in New Bern outside of my wife's great cooking. Everyone comes away joyfully satisfied with all they have eaten. Smoke and the staff at The Flame are loving, courteous and friendly. You find yourself in an inviting atmosphere that is almost like home. And it is always a winner when I surprise my wife with a Sunday brunch at The Flame...New Bern's finest food!

We went to The Flame to celebrate a friend's 25th wedding anniversary and enjoyed it very much. Great food and a nice facility. I'm looking forward to going back, but in less than 25 years...

We can't say enough wonderful things about the Flame. They made out night wonderful. They were so sweet and just perfection. Myra since day one had been such a god sent. She made things stress free. The food was amazing, my guest LOVED everything. The Ribeye steaks were so BIG! I mean HUGE! we were all so surprised, myra and smoke kept telling us that no one would leave hungry and they were right! The bacon bar, THE BACON BAR at our cocktail hour was TO DIE FOR! our guest went NUTS! and they kept bringing tray after tray, NO ONE LEFT HUNGRY! I think thats the most important part besides the food being amazing. I love them and will come back. Thank you so much all of you at the Flame you are guys made our night magical.

If you want the best buffet around this is it. Service is outstanding and the food is even better. I drive a hour one way just eat Sunday lunch. I can't say enough about them. It is a must try!!!

They catered our Marine Corps Birthday Ball. The food was exceptional. My only complaint- realizing they're a catering company and not a restaurant! The ribs with plum sauce were the best ribs/beef I have ever had. They did a combination plate with supreme chicken and the chicken was tender and delicious. Usually with a combination plate neither dish stands out but both were excellent and the mashed potatoes were also delicious. Highly recommend for your catering needs. There were hundreds of us and it's difficult for food to be edible let alone delicious for so many people. If I were getting married I would chose them, hands down.

Nice venue. I've been to several events there. The food is always good and the staff does a great job.

Went for their all you can eat breakfast buffet. Amazing selection of food, some of it very good, such as the custom sliced prime rib, but much of the rest was very average. Still, a very good value overall.

Waited 30 min watched as ticket was removed 3 times and shrimp burger given to someone else when finally gave it to me plate was stained up on outside shrimp was cold and still no slaw gave up on slaw fed cold shrimp to birds

Our family went out for Easter Lunch. This place was fantastic. I would absolutely go again.

We just had the Flame (New Bern, NC) cater our wedding reception. They were fantastic! The food was wonderful, especially the shrimp bisque. The staff was even better. They were all so helpful and friendly. They took care of everything. My venue (Washington, NC Estuarium) was new to them and they went to the venue a week early to make sure everything was in order. I had so many complements on the food and service. I highly recommend them for any catering, especially wedding receptions! You won t find better food or service anywhere.

Absolutely delicious food prepared with love and the right amount of seasoning. The staff was extremely accommodating to their patrons from the time you walk in until you leave the facility. I can't wait to go back and take the family. Even the lemonade was perfectly sweetened.
