The Fish Kitchen is, without a doubt, the best fish restaurant I have ever eaten in. We spend a few weeks in Bantry each year and our visit to the Fish Kitchen is always a highlight. Excellent food, reasonable prices, great service and a comfortable atmosphere. Booking is essential!

If you re visiting Bantry this is a must! The food is amazing! Friendly staff and nice cosy atmosphere and tasty food. Be warned you should book your table early in the day or the day before as it s a very popular spot and there is t tons of room!

The associated fish shop is also highly recommended. There is freshly caught fish here at very fair prices. And the waitress tries very hard to help tourists choose the right fish. It's fun to shop here.

Great seafood and a good beer. We went with the kids, but felt the next time we have a chance to eat here we would go without them. Our kids were on their best behavior so things went smoothly, but it could have quickly gone in the wrong direction fast if one started to act out.

Great dining experience. Definitely quality over quantity with great service and amazing food. Not the most extensive menu, but you have only so many options when focusing on fish only dishes. Would definitely visit again.

Covid madness had forced them to close the restaurant when I visited but that didn't stop them serving up some delicious fresh fare!

The Fish Kitchen is a very small and cosy restaurant in the heart of Bantry. Due to the small size a reservation is highly recommended.
The Service is very friendly and fast.
The food is amazing and very tasteful. If you love fish dishes you have to go to the Fish Kitchen!

Simple fish dishes are cleverly prepared. Top quality! Everything always fresh. Very small dining room. Just looking over for good luck is possible but not always successful.

Eaten there three times on two trips. Superb fish and one of the best in Ireland. Just a dozen tables and well-used by locals. Upstairs above fish monger's but not related.

Everything was so perfect. Fresh fish cooked to my liking-simply grilled , double the portion you get in a posh restaurant. So so so fresh! Excellent service, family atmosphere.

Ok place. Steak was tough and (typical for Ireland) overdone. Curried vegetables were good but very very spicy.

Excellent fish. Great atmosphere. Warm and Friendly. Imaginative menu uses locally caught fish from the waters of Bantry Bay and the Atlantic Ocean. Eating here always gives me a spring in my step. Value for money.

If you're every down Bantry way in West Cork, this is your BEST choice for lunch or dinner. Fresh fish, friendly staff and reasonable prices. What else do you want?

Outstanding. Prompt service with a smile and the freshest catch you will find anywhere. Am memorable experience. The Smoked Salmon starter was unbelievably fresh. The battered Haddock was out of this world and the Monkfish and Shrimp was cooked to perfection. A real asset to Bantry and Cork!

Dropped in on the off chance and the food and service were amazing. A must go to place. You have to go upstairs but it's worth it!!

Hands down, the best fish / seafood restaurant I have ever eaten in! I ordered the crab claws appetizer and it came out steaming hot and delicious. This was followed by the special of the day which was Torbet. To be honest, I did not even know what I had ordered, but when it came, I loved it. The restaurant is small and the service is very sincere, kind and personal. Call ahead as you will need reservations!

A small, lovingly decorated restaurant with nice staff. The map manageable and with daily offers. The food came quite fast and was lovingly prepared and delicious. My wife and I really enjoyed the evening.

The Fish Kitchen is the best fish restaurant in which I have ever eaten. The oysters were great and the best I have ever eaten. Even the fish was amazing! The service and the staff is great too. Definitely plan to visit and book in advance.
