Have been visiting Dr. Lam for more than 20 years. He will patiently and clearly explained any enquiry you may have. He charges extremely cheap which explain for the long queue in the clinic. The staffs are friendly if you get to know them.
Thorough but long waiting time because of many regular return patients.
The doctor was late, the entire clinic looked like it was from 1980's and no one bothered to clean up. There are plenty other clinics around do yourself a favor and skip this one.
Dr Lam is very thorough and great doctor. If you are patient to wait in queue, he is one of the best GP to get your consultation.
Dr Lam is a very detail and caring doctor. Charges very cheap rates. Despite long waits patients still come back. To be fair the other nurse is chatty and friendly.
The only doctor I can trust to recover from my sickness. Whenever the clinic is close for a week, I have no choice but to visit the other clinics along the same stretch and area.
My bill at this clinic with anti-biotics is always $44 to $60 max for flu and sore throat/fever.
Once because Dr Lam Clinic was closed for a week and I was down with a really bad flu and blocked nose, I went to a clinic at Blk 829 the doctor bill with anti-biotics and nasal spray came up to $170.
My friends whom i recommend to the Clinic also love the way Dr Lam explains illnesses to them and what to look out for. If you stay in the area, this is a clinic you should visit.

One of the worst places to go.
The place seems like some 80s clinic, gives you a haunted feel. Walls seats and facilities needs cleaning.
Next, Enter the doctor. What an absolute nonsense person, agitated. Not willing to take any explanation super rude way of talking. I don't know what I did to deserve this kind of insulting treatment.
What a rude person to deal with, please save yourself the humiliation of going to this cursed place. Skip this place at all costs.

My family doctor of 30 years. Dr Lam is great personally, very gentle and patient.
The dispensary ladies and receptionist are totally opposite, I guess good help are hard to come by these days.
PS: just visited the medical center again. The receptionist and dispensary ladies' attitudes are much improved.
The short-haired lady receptionist in glasses was pretty rude when I tried to politely remind her that I was having asthma-like symptoms and was almost drifting in and out of consciousness. She gave me a very irritated look and used a very harsh tone on me "yah i already told the doctor!" and then proceeded to ignore me when I said I understood and was just lettingrrye her know how I felt and she then tgt yar went back to chatting happily with her friend. When it was finally my turn to consult the doctor, she didn't even address me by my name and just said "excuse me" in a very can't-be-bothered tone.
The doctor's skill are good and he is very patient with explanation thus the long Q but the front reception staff attitude are just deplorable. Made a call to check if the clinic will be opened this Sunday (as they are closed at times), the woman over the phone said "Of course lah!".
He is the nicest doctor could find in SG. He is very detailed and he goes to root cause of problem. I travel from Punggol to Tampines because of trust in him. Highly recommend.
My family doctor since young. Really attentive and detail during consultation. Explains and inspects patiently and thoroughly. High work ethics. Receptionists may not be as friendly due to the large amounts of people that come and visit Dr Lam. A smile and some small talk will help you get better aervice
Dotor Lam is a very precise, detailed and sincere doctor. If I could, I would rate a 5 star rating.
But my 1 star rating goes to the bespectacled curly grey haired receptionist. She is exceptionally rude! I would not have even given a star but I had to give a rating in order to write a review. It is really surprising she can still keep her job here given that her attitude sucks like a leech!
The physician is careful and thorough in his craft.
