Staff is rude and complain about us calling our mother too often. The rooms do not have a phone in the the room which is rediculous, what kind of facility does not have a phone in patients room.
My dad has been living in this center for years and has had amazing care!
On the whole a just Ok place for Mom. They broke her wrist while using a Hoyer lift. We had her transferred out.
My mother in law was here for about a year and a half before she passed at the end of 2016 and was well taken care of by the staff. She had a hard time acclimating at first because she didn't want to be there but needed 24 hour care. Once she accepted her situation she started participating in all the activities the facilities held and became friends with most of the staff of nurses. They spoiled her and brought her gifts as well. They provided rides to all her appointments if she needed one. My wife and I are forever grateful for the care they gave her.
While visiting my family member my 5yo son had to use the potty. I was told they cannot let him use a bathroom and to just let him pee himself all over the floor. Completely unacceptable. Update. Lobby person refused to let my son use the bathroom until he pooped his pants. He is special needs and 5 years old. Had to seek out an administrator just to get him into a bathroom. Absolutely not acceptable.
I have my uncle there. The nurses don't share information that they acquired on their shift. To the next shift. My uncle. Is diabetic and his levels were way too high. And the nurse that was on shift when we got there, said it was the same the day before. But no one called the doctor to see what needs to be done to make the levels lower. He also says he showers once a month. He has a phone in his room that doesn't work. He can't get service on his own cell phone. The nurses are rude. They walk the halls and don't acknowledge any one. I'm calling the BBB and put in a complaint and ask for this facility to be investigated. After the mess in the Hacienda I'm going to make sure this facility is going to get check out along with the staff.
