Estridge screwed me and my family over. He did this by selling a house in Centenial. Though the house has great quality he never for filled his contract. By not evening out our backyard, and now we have a giant slope in our yard. We were supposed to have three trees in our front yard that we payed for but they didn't plant. Fixing a hole in the fall that was made by one of the workers was not done.
Not happy with Estridge and they are aware of it but still won t do anything about it. We made a mistake of closing in December with quite a few things on our list. And we are still waiting for them to finish more than 15 things, 4 and a half months after closing. Complained to the owner Mr Paul Estridge twice who assured that our concerns will be addressed as soon as possible. It s been month and a half for that. Kind of knew this would be happening because after closing I will not be their priority. But had to close cause family members were coming from India and Australia and our home was suppose to be done by September 2017. But they don t care how long it takes for them to finish. Make sure all your concerns are addressed before you close. I hope they see this and try to call and see why we are upset. Estridge has worked pretty hard to earn this comment. I hope Sarah, Jeff, Zach, Mason and Paul see this and try to reach out to see what happened. I am sure they are all aware of this and will sit there and watch how many more websites will get comments. Thanks to my Estridge Team.
Estridge Homes paints an elaborate picture of the "ideal" high-end home builder and that's exactly what they want the public to think. However, they are nothing of the sort, they are nothing but profit driven, corner cutting below average home builders. What Estridge doesn't want people to know is they have an elaborate scheme to absolve themselves from future liabilities caused by their negligent practices. They continue as a company for a number of years and when things start to go awry they file for bankruptcy and then start another company under a similar name thanks to the help of angel investors and continue as nothing ever happened. When my home was built they were Estridge Custom homes, then a few years later they filed bankruptcy and formed a new company known currently as Estridge Homes. Anyhow, my home was built in such a way that when it rains, water flows toward my home instead of away from it causing numerous floods to my finished basement. The basement's plumbing also has a pitch/inclination that causes back-ups for which I have to have a plumber come to the house every six months to fix. I have accumulated thousands of dollars in repairs and will likely continue to do so due to Estridge's negligent building practices and strongly advice going elsewhere when selecting a builder!
Different by design.absolutely great quality at a reasonable price. Great features standard that other builders don't offer but as an upgrade.
I am in 'The Cottages' in Anderson Hall. I love my home and the neighborhood. I bought a model. I feel the quality is excellent and the response of Estridge to all my concerns was great. They made the difficult process of buying a home as easy as possible. I have been in my home 1 year now and have gone thru my 1 year inspection. All my concerns were taken care of quickly and efficiently. And thru this entire year, Blake was fantastic!
I have lived in here in the Anderson Hall cottages since August 2017. My cottage house is exactly what I was looking for. The buying process was made very easy with Blake at the helm! He was very helpful with the design and picking out a lot to meet my needs. The neighborhood is very quaint, and even though the houses are located very near to each other, they offer a great deal of privacy. I love my neighbors, which to me was very important. My builder Jon has been of great help solving any problems that may come up (as all houses have flaws...no one is perfect). I have talked to many of my friends about coming here to live.
My clients and I had a great experience with Estridge. My clients had recently sold a home that they had lived in for nearly 15 years and it was an emotional time for them to make this transition. They were downsizing but wanted a new home that was lower in maintenance and at the same time of similar quality to their custom home. The sales rep from Estridge was very patient with this older couple and helped them find a floor plan and a community that met their needs. He worked with them throughout the process to make what initially seemed to be a daunting process into an enjoyable one of selecting the finishings for their new home. I was very appreciative that the sales rep treated my clients just as I would have.
We built a home with Estridge and came away with a great home. Blake, our salesmen was always there to answer any questions and explained the process at each step. We have been in the home over a year and love it. They are very responsive if there is any need from us. I think with any home building, there will be a few minor issues and what set the experience apart from others was Blake and his passion to deliver a great product. I have lived in Centenial for 8 years, and I loved it until Estridge went bankrupt and the new home owners took over and set up new guidelines for the neighborhood. These guidelines were terrible and they built homes that weren't as nice as the homes already built. So I blame estridge for not managing his money horribly.
My home was built by Estridge 8 years ago and for the amount of money I paid, I thought I would have a quality product. My finished basement has flooded 4 times due to the inept system of drainage placed by Estridge - in 2015 they said they would correct the issue as there were no drains in the large window wells thereby serving as aquariums during heavy rains. The drains they placed to "fix the problem" were fake - hollow tubes 18 inches long going into clay. The sump pit is too shallow and so my house remains severely damaged with any heavy rain. No response from Estridge on multiple attempts. Even had a contractor call them - no response. Buyers, go with another builder!!!! Run!!!!!!
A very important aspect of the Estridge company is that they re-brand every few years and form a new entity thereby absolving themselves of any responsibility or liability. When building a home, find a reputable builder who has been in business for many years and stands by their product. Estridge builders have no conscience and will leave you with an expensive, yet substandard home - soon afterwards they will change their name and no longer have any concern for the disaster they have produced.
Poor warranty service. They try every thing to get around warranty work. I would never build with them again.....
Less than 1 star!!! I have never done business with Estridge and I never will!! I am writing this as a neighbor to a property being built by them. They hire only the worst, most disrespectful subcontractors. I have spent the last 6 months telling myself that this will be over soon. I have dealt with subcontractors parking in my driveway, in the alley between our homes which blocked us from leaving until someone decided that they felt like moving the vehicle, blocking the delivery of my mail which I had to drive to post office to pick up, blocking our trash bins being picked up, and leaving literally handfuls of nails in our alley after working. I made a habit of walking the alley every night when I got home from work just to help our neighborhood avoid flat tires (see pic). Upon reaching out to them to find help or resolve for all these issues, they informed me that the alley was public and as long as they EVENTUALLY move for me to get in and out of my drive, there was nothing that could be done. As far as the trash, mail, nails in alley, and parking in my driveway, they told me that they agree that is unfortunate, but that we will be done soon, so it will stop after that. For anyone looking at this company to build your dream home, remember this. Your dream home is being built by the lowest bidders they could find.............. ALSO...... every notice how many of the 5 star reviews are from ACTUAL people that purchased these homes..... Seriously, look at WHO is writing these reviews!
Very dishonest and would never deal with them again after the terrible experience we had. The quality is Questionable. Very low standards and ethics.
