Beautiful view but too crowded to really enjoy a drink. There is lots of people passing through. There is some specific staff dedicated to take pictures with your smartphone. I should admit they are pretty good. There is a dress code, no Bermuda no flipflop. After all, you have to be smart for the pictures .
Splendid view! Must do in Bangkok to admire the whole city at night. Drinking 1 glass is enough to admire the extent of the city. You can eat but it is expensive and unoriginal. It all depends on everyone's budget. Proper attire required no tong for men attention!
Being at the Skybar at sunset is one of the best ways to view Bangkok.

Scam. Wanted to go to the skybar and still even after asking several times, we were shown to a smaller bar called alfresco. View still fantastic, prices as well, but all cocktails are with chivas regal only. Even asking for other drinks, we were not shown to the other bar.
The view is worth going up, no entrance fee.

Best reserve a table on the "quiet" side ... not on the stairs where everyone scurrying to the bar ... annoying otherwise determined! The restaurant is really expensive or overpriced, but you have to experience it and do not regret a cent. The food is mini but very tasty. We loved it and spent some wonderful hours there.

Overestimated and utterly overpriced, it's anyhow trendy and offers a very good view over the Chao Praya river. Staff can be arrogant and distant. Been there twice, enough.
The views are probably the best in Bangkok but ......Be prepared to be ripped off - Coke @ USD 13 & USD 22 for glass of wine or cocktail. The venue is old and not well maintained.
TIP: Arrive just before 6.00pm and go to the main bar / restaurant, which has the best views and is bigger. Take your pictures at sunset and leave - unless of course you are happy to pay the sky high drinks prices!
A breathtaking view and a great atmosphere.
But everyone should know: the visit is free, but you have to have a drink. The drinks are more than salted; we paid 40 for 2 beers.

The view is great, but you feel already exempt. 2 drinks almost 2000BAT, not good, because practically without alcohol. And of course the "guests" only pushed through quickly. The only funny thing is that ALL do their selfies there. :-) and the right can be entertaining ...
Brought my girlfriend here for her birthday. The view and band were the best part of the night. They took forever for drinks and food. They forgot to bring basic items and seems they even forgot the cake until I asked for the bill and started to leave. HOWEVER, the view was great and my gf is amazing we laughed about the experience later. If you get food here the lobster is ok.
quite pricey and a bit of a tourist trap - to be fair we did expect it - worth going for a few photo shoots - and some of the views.

The Dome and the adjoining Sky Bar are iconic Bangkok attractions and if you want dress smartly to get great views of the city while paying a lot for your food and drink then this is the place to be

This place has nothing to offer but a view. Service and drinks are consistently horrible.
To all the "foreigners and tourists", avoid this place. You will have a better experience with the other several Sky Bars in Bangkok without breaking your bank!
I bought a bottle of Perrier Jouet and some cocktails for the business group. They will upcharge you on EVERYTHING!!!
If you're just wanting to go for the view and check it out, you can but make sure you don't bother wasting your money here.

To reach the sky bar you will need to spend 3300 THB per person, after in the sky bar each drinks start from 950 THB.
The view is excellent. For one special experience is worth it.

Most people go there for the view and I can understand why. However, cocktails were not really tasty and extremely overpriced. At least the staff was friendly and they provided nice snacks with the drinks.

Mediocre drinks for 1,000 BHT with a nice view. Attention: stand in peace, entertain or enjoy the view is not. Selfi-hunter rempel and push to get the best photo. Better go around the corner to the restaurant with its own bar and even better view (entrance behind the elevators).

It is commendable to enter and sit down, the attitude and standard are very good, and the food is also excellent.
We did not go to this bar on the 64th floor since we only wanted a drink. We stayed in the smaller not so spectacular but expensive Sky Bar. You can take a photo here at the side. Most of the photos show this restaurant as a rooftop bar and this is the bar of Hangover 2.
Step that should not be missed on a trip to Bangkok .. Council to dress well ... Drunk by the cost a little higher than usual but worth it
The worst shop in Bangkok there is. I wanted to go up there to have a drink. However, the conceited woman at the elevator said you should not be in shorts. Apparently this woman is crazy and does not know that Songkran is currently. It's damned hot and you get sprayed wet everywhere. this stupid cow probably does not understand that it is extremely unpleasant in Long pants when they are wet. Furthermore I don't put on long trousers at 35 degrees, because of the heat my eggs start swimming in my own sweat.
Dinner with a fantastic view. For this alone, the visit is definitely worth it. Simply a great atmosphere. The menu was very fine and the staff attentive. The warmth, which we encountered everywhere in Thailand, unfortunately went down a bit here. Of course you pay for the view, but still very expensive.
One mojito is 1150 baht excluding service charge and tax. The bar area is small although the night view is beautiful. This is an amount that cannot be justified.
