They are continuously adding new attractions in addition to the traditional gems. Great place to get the kids (of all ages) out of the house.

Excellent experience, the place is clean, organized, educational and fun! We had a birthday party there today and the staff was helpful and accommodating and friendly, the kids had an absolute blast!

This is a wonderful place to have a birthday party or to come just because. I came here for a friend who had a party for her grandson and I loved it so much I had a party for my own daughter there. There is so much for not only children to do but also for adults to have fun also. They staff is great and easy to work with. I hope to go back there again soon during the summer with my kids!

This place is GREAT to take toddlers and kids to just for a regular day of play.

That being said, we held my daughter's third birthday party here and I was not impressed: the room we were in looked liked it was used for storage (we were in the theatre and it looked like extra Christmas decorations were kept there), I was not in the party room I was told I would be in when I made the reservation, they interrupted the party to tell me how much time was left in the rental (granted I understood I had limited time in there but the girl was very rude and not discrete at all about it) this was extra upsetting because there wasn't a party in there afterwards (we walked by the room multiple times during our time in the museum) and they do not give you an opportunity to purchase extra time. I am glad I did not do an activity with the kids like I was planning.

I will take my kid there for days of play because she loves it, but I will never have another party there again, sadly!

We had so much fun here as a family. They have all kinds of fun hands-on activities for you and the kids.

Definitely a fun place for kids! We love going here. I recommend a membership to save money. We often ask for one as Christmas presents. I think it is a little better for kindergarten age and up but my toddler does enjoy as well. It is frustrating that the train display is constantly broken. We love watching the trains but they hardly ever work. Overall it s lots of fun and worth a visit.

Great place to understand how the REAL world works. Stop taking your kids to church and take them here instead maybe they'll actually learn something for once.

Love all the exhibits. There are three large room with so much to do in each. Villages and Legos and tinker toys, etc.

I've been bringing my kids here for over 10 years. DSC never fails to impress and entertain.

The Tyler Mini Maker Fair was today and there was a great turn out.

Kids had fun, but for the price I was surprised how much of it was inoperable. It was also disappointing that they doubled the cost if you wanted to see the Dino exhibit, hence we did not... Only other complaint would be the rudeness of some of the kids and the absent parents, both of which are not the science centers fault.

Our granddaughter (4-1/2 yr old) thoroughly enjoyed her time there and just simply did not want to leave.

More than half of everything was out of order worthless please don't wast your time

There are plenty of things to learn and play with here. Everything is maintained pretty well. This is a great place to bring young builders.

Its has a lot of tho vs for kids to have fun but learning at the same time vs e the kids a Beatiful experience of what goes on around our world

Over priced for what it is. The worst kids museum I've ever been to.

Discovery science place is always a fun place to go in the afternoons after school or when it's wet outside. It's mostly things for younger kids but there are things older kids will enjoy. Teenagers? Probably not.

Amazing place for kids!!! Play centers that help in fine and large motor skills such as a Huge ship, vet center, pediatric center, space center, courthouse, grocery store, climbing wall, huge foam blocks, etc. Rent out a room for your kids birthday. Look for deals on Groupon and if you have food assistance card entry is 3.00.

Took my 10 year old nephew. He LOVED IT. Made his imagination go crazy. Talked about it for days.

Fun place for a young child's birthday party. Lots of things to do and lots of things to learn...while having fun!

I paid for an exhibit and the usual rooms. The rooms were worth the money but the exhibit was not. It should have just been included in the price.

My daughter loved this place but some of the things are broken so we weren't able to try it....but it is still a really good place to go and have fun and learn! Will go again

My step son LOVED coming here. It was super fun. I feel like it was over too fast but we will be back.

I used to come here ALL THE TIME when I was a kid! Great place! Relatively clean. Coming from a former kid, this is a great place to come and have fun!

Visiting the grandparents we decided to try and find a way to drain some energy out of the toddler. This place did a great job at this. Tons of interactive and educational exhibits. Plenty of space for kids to roam, play, and learn. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

It was fun, it would have been a little better if there was any way to tell if there is a school field trip planned for that day. We had two very young children with us and when the school children came running in the tunnels the little ones got jostled pretty hard.

Took our 8 year old great grandson to Discovery Science Place yesterday. He really enjoyed everything he experienced. We asked him what was his favorite thing and he could not single out any one aspect. It was all special to him.

Lots of fun for young kids but it was smaller than expected.

Discovery science place is AMAZING. They have all sorts of fun stuff for the kiddos to do. Rock climbing, all sorts of sensory stuff, rooms completely made up for pretend play such as a court room, vets office and bistro. They have birthday party room so you can host an event or birthday party. You are allowed to bring your own cake and food which is always great. Its a great place to learn and play #funforkids #sciencefun

This place is amazing! Kids will have a blast!
There are plenty of educational activities for the young ones to participate in, from the space room to the dinosaur cave, etc. There's also plenty of opportunities to engage in pretending as they play in the hospital room, the news studio, the kitchen, the grocery store, the courtroom, etc.
Everything is totally hands-on, and even though it was designed for kids, as a parent, I still found it interesting and engaging, too!
Totally worth a visit!

Very bad customer service. They messed up on everything and then blamed us for it. I've never been treated like this in my entire life. This place used to be great but now it is honestly a horrible experience. Management needs to step in and fix this place or else it won't last much longer....and it would be nice if they fixed all the broken equipment. I have to pay full price for 2\3 of the experience. This place is a joke now.

This is an amazing place for kids! Everything was interactable! They had a number of themed areas. They had a ship to go on. There was a series of caves with lava, glowing rocks, and earthquake zone. A space area with interactable ship, Mars rover, space sands, and other things. A child town with shopping center, bank, hospital, giant Lego type things. I liked the train setup with buttons to turn on different trains and buildings. They also had a small mummy exhibit. They also had a bunch of exhibits where the children could play with golf balls and machinery to understand gravity. They also have a TV News room where the children can swap cameras and make their own news and cooking show. My 1.5 year old and nephews of 3 and 5 yrs old had a ball. If I lived near here I would go at least 4 times a year.

What a small little treasure in Tyler. We will be back.

Fun for the whole family.

I've taken my kids several times over the 5 years, and yesterday was the best overall trip. The newton professor was there and had a show. My kids were volunteers and it went well. Even with covid restrictions, 2 hours was plenty of time to enjoy everything.

We came for the Maker Fair 2018 and the kids enjoyed theirselves. There were plenty of attractions to keep them engaged.

They have so many different fun and interesting areas to explore. Only limited by your own imagination. They also have some 3 and under only areas just for the littles.

Many different attractions. Totally hands on. Lots to learn. Safe and clean. Excellent staff.

It is still fun but could use repairs and update A LOT. The same electronics are still not working, like in the NASA exhibit. While other equipment, have been there since I was a child. The play-clothes look like they need to be cleaned or altogether replaced. I have been coming since I was little. Field trips and with family. And now I bring my own children. Still a great family place, but being in downtown and being so widely known, it would be nice to see it better taken care of. If you are going to charge, it would be nice to play with equipment that do what they are supposed to.

The staff went above and beyond to help us with our daughter's party. We have had her parties here several years and my friends and family are continually impressed by the staff and the facility!

Great place for kids to wander and discover things from science to dinosaurs. Geared for kids between 3-13, not sure if older kids would enjoy it. Not a super large facility. Parking off street available.

Amazing place and tons of educational fun! So much so we went back just 2 days later and plan to make this a regular weekly event! There is so much to do its hard to get through it all in one day! Def great place for kids of all ages!!!!

My son been asking to see the dinosaurs. We finally made it and he really enjoyd it. It is a smaller version of the bigger science museum which I think its great. Just watching with them, I know he had fun. We also went next door and its a great place for them to explore specially with the hot summer heat. He loved the grocery store and tv station.

Pretty nice size children's museum but it is definitely showing its age. Some electronics do not work and toys are scattered too much for the staff to keep up tidying.

There are numerous activities and plenty opportunities for children to pick-up something positive. I would bring my daughter here more often if I didn't have to spend too much effort in devising an exit strategy!
