Wonderful place to take children to play and learn.
We went for my son's birthday. And all kids ages 5-13 loved it
This place is great! I had to drag my 2 & 1/2 year old out after we'd been there for over 2 hours.!!
Super fun. Not a bland museum, but highly engaging and entertaining.
Excellent facility for fun, hands on learning for children aged toddler to middle school with special events for high schoolers and adults. Safe, clean, and friendly, this place provides wholesome family entertainment. Don't forget to check out the boat and the 3D movie theater!
This museum has a good range of learning and creative activities for children of all ages. We have an 11 year old and a 3 year old and both were entertained for several hours. The only thing I didn't like was that even after paying admission you still had to pay for a few additional things once inside, such as the scale that shows your weight on different planets, the wind tunnel, and the 3d glasses. Other than that, I thought it was worth the money and we would probably go back in a few months.
This was a fun experience. Unfortunately, some of the attractions didn t have enough supplies ( golf balls, batteries for drill in space area, etc.). Just needs some minor upkeep.
I love this place. My grandson may be a Veterinarian now.
Kids had a great time. It's neat to see them figure things out on their own and interact with other kids. A favorite thing for them is to "pan" for gems and fossils.
The kids love it and it sparks great creative imagination in them
We had a wonderful time! This is an excellent place for kids!
Place is great for kids 0-13 years old. You could spend all day there and kids still don't want leave. Caves, news stations, grocery store, fossils and more! Loved it so much we bought an annual pass and we live 2hrs away
My granddaughter loves this place. She always has so much fun
Great children s museum in Tyler! Lots of fun stuff to see, touch and do. They offer reciprocity with many different museums which is a huge plus since it provides for free admission.
My 18 month old grandson wasn't sure if they were going to have anything he would enjoy but I was very excited to find out that they had much much more. I would definitely recommend going again.
My son always has a blast when we visit. We have a yearly membership even when we go often he isn't bored. The staff is super friendly
Good fun for younger kids. Many of the exhibits however were broken.
So many things to do! I love seeing my kid have fun while learning.
Good for kids
Limited admissions because of covid-19
Fun, nice and safe place for children.
My 9 year olds love it.
Great indoor activities for kiddos. Only wish they would add more stuff.
I went to see the small "Bodies" exhibit and stayed a little over an hour. I don't know about the kids section, but the building I was in was small and nice. They have restrooms in the back with electronic trash cans.
Very fun and inexpensive place for the entire family. Great learning activities and awesome staff.
Wish this place was bigger. Needs more attractions that you can interact with that are more up to date. Enjoyed it though.
Took my special needs grandchildren they had a great time.
This was a really fun place for my children! I had two 9 year olds and one 18 month... they stayed until closing time, begging if they could stay. There were literally make believe play stations all through out the place (grocery store, bank, CBS news station, etc.). If you are needing to take your kids somewhere fun, educational and cheap..(for my three including myself I paid 20 dollars)....I would most definitely recommend the discovery science place! Awesome place!
Went here for my son's field trip. Came here as a kid when spending summers with granny, lots of great memories and now new ones! Lots to explore for the little ones and plenty of room to chase them. It did get hot with moving around so much and drinks weren't allowed in the actual Discovery rooms but we're allowed in the hallway and they had a room that had sitting and such for this. Very friendly and helpful staff. This place is definitely a must experience with kids of all ages!
Everything is hands on and allows children's imaginations to takeover while being educational. Definitely recommend the family pass.
At first, our trip was a night mare bc there were 2 schools there, the kids were so wild, and the workers could barley keep up with the chaos (not their fault). We waited it out bc I heard a teacher say the kids only had 30 mins left. After all the kids were gone the experience was so much better. The workers cleaned up everything fast & I saw them sanitizing each little item. NEXT TIME I WILL DEFINITELY MAKE SURE THERE ARE NO FIELD TRIPS PLANNED.
A couple weekends ago was the second time that I took my son. It s a really great, inexpensive museum. The employees are always friendly too. We went specifically for Return of the Dinosaurs on June 16th and my son had the time of his life. He has autism and the exhibit was the perfect size with the perfect amount of activities. It waasnt overstimulating at all. Soon, we ll take another road trip to this museum.
