Nice college with interesting, intelligent students. Biggest downside is that Greencastle is a complete hole of a town.
Great school community, very tight knit. Lots to do on campus, big Greek scene, most students are in a fraternity or sorority. Lots of partying. An activity/club exists for everyone. Academics very important, students work hard, spend long hours in the library. Athletics are not stressed, or really supported by the student body. Most students would rather party instead, tailgate > actual game. Greencastle community is lacking, poor relations exist between students and locals. -Graduated 2011
An intimate college experience. If you don't want to get lost in the crowd DePauw can offer the education experience you are looking for. You will be surrounded by students, faculty and administration looking to help make this an experience of a lifetime. I recently attended my 40th college reunion and knew 80% of the attendees, it was as great of an experience as attending DePauw. You will gain friends, colleagues and contacts that will last a lifetime.
Academia is excellent. University is settled in a great small town. University is always updating and remodeling. Really good restaurants on campus.
Just went there with my daughter and it changed my perspective of the town and college life down there from negative to positive. They are definitely one of her top colleges to attend.
I didn't go here, but attended a concert here. Cool campus and a great reputation. Good golf team, too.
Small historic University and campus life with social events.
