A fun hotel to explore, every floor themed and service is awesome
Great location...pet friendly which is a huge plus! Resturant down stairs is a great option if you don't want to go out
I came to this hotel for a bridal show. The place was clean and the workers were very friendly. The event center was large and beautiful. Great location right in downtown Denver. Walking distance to Sam's No. 3 - a famous breakfast place. If I had the opportunity, I would definitely stay here.
Absolutely beautiful and close to anything needed downtown.
Room was great, all amenities like bar, restaurant, coffee shop, are in reach. Quick walk to 16th street mall
Listen, here s the deal. I stay in hotels 100+ nights per year. I think the Curtis is super cool for being different - each floor is themed. That said, my stay has been a total nightmare: Room with a incorrect configuration turned into a new room with THIN WALLS and a loud neighbor, which then turned into a new (corner room -very nice) with a broken HVAC unit... then a broken phone... then a TV that won t turn on. This hotel tried... hard: but still failed. I recommend staying somewhere else in town (I.e.- Homehood suites or Embassy suites)
The cookies warm and tasty. Decor was dated. Gym was sub par with broken equipment. The rooms were very quiet.
It was ok as a venue. The chairs aren't comfortable for a full day. The food catering was met. Parking is notably reasonable.
Very nice and clean room. Just be aware of $30+ for parking per day.
I believe it was over priced for the room. It was comfortable, however it was very noisy. Also, a poor attempt at trying to be retro.
I just love staying at the curtis! It's a fun environment
The location is nice, but a lot of the rooms for conferences seemed dark and had little windows.
Place was cramped, went there for a conference.... Uugh. A little too "modern" for me, probably won't be staying there. Ever.
The Curtis is a fun, hip conveniently located Denver Hotel. We will be back.
The Curtis is Located right in the middle of a great part of town. While here I have visited 3 different rooms and all were clean, modern, and fun. The Game Suite was especially cool with its own Donkey Kong arcade machine. The front desk is always fully staffed, very friendly, and accommodating. You should stay here, you'll be happy.
Each floor had its own theme. I would stay there again.
Great hotel. Love the themed floors. Good downtown location.
My husband and I were treated like royalty. The entire staff went above and beyond our expectations. We have stayed at the Curtis several times . After this last weekend's experience , we are now "lifers".
Stayed in July . Everyone very friendly and personable and they truly care about their customers. Hope to see them in June or July again. Excellent location . I will look for specials on Hilton.com . Location of hotel second to none
Finding the hotel using any GPS is a breeze. It is clearly marked and there is room to pull a vehicle into while checking in. Parking is not included and is pretty pricey. The interior of the hotel is decorated in a pop art motif, and each floor has its own theme. The room was clean, but unbelievably small for the price charged. The climate control unit was very loud, and made it difficult to sleep. Staff were very polite and courteous. 3 of 5 for small room size at a high price.
This hotel has bed bugs!!! I rate no stars but didn't give me that option. We should've known it wasn't a safe place to stay when we saw dirty plates in the hallway for 2 days.
A decent hotel in the middle of Denver downtown. Nothing bad to say about it yet :)
Great rooms. Love the different themes on each floor. Next time I'll definitely be requesting the sci fi floor.
This hotel is modern, clean, well-furnished, and has the high-quality service that's associated with any Double Tree hotel. The hotel is also overly and inconsistently themed and generally quite tacky. The hotel's mascot is a robot. Elevators are adorned with full-wall art of roller coasters and other high-adventure experiences. I stayed on the 5th floor. When arriving on that floor, the elevator announced it as the "one hit wonder floor." It was instead super hero themed, with art and murals adorning every area of the hallway. Then, my room was decorated entirely differently. The art was random and creepy.
The staff is nice. The rooms are good. The bathrooms in the guest rooms are smaller than expected of a doubletree. Overall a good experience.
I was under impressed. Nothing wrong necessarily. I was just expecting to feel a little more wow'd. We usually stay at the Weston when in Denver but thought this would be fun with the kids. It was OK.
The concept is great! My check in was so efficient and she was super sweet.
I stayed at The Curtis a week or two ago on a business trip. I had the WORST flight from Alaska down so to walk in and be greeted by friendly staff was really nice. The staff is fairly young, but again very nice. They greeted me with a WARM cookie and check in was a breeze.
The entire stay was great, and the parking situation was easy as they have a parking garage attached next door that is $25 a night.
The only thing I didn't like - and that I must have skipped reading was that each floor had a theme! Now i think THAT is need, but my room freaked me out. I think I stayed on the 10th floor, the floor of champions .. and the decor in there was actually creepy enough that I had trouble sleeping. There was a woman's wall paper photo hovering over my bed and another photo of a young boy next to my bed and that just creep'd me out!
Overall though - the hotel was great and clean. Also convenient for 16th Ave Mall walking or walking downtown to the business buildings. Starbucks is next door and the gym is open 24 hours.
I might not stay at the Curtis again, solely because I don't mesh with the decor as much as I thought I would. But again, it was clean, the staff was great, the gym was open 24 hours, and It was fun to see the different floors.
Thank you to the great Curtis Staff for a wonderful stay!
Quirky hotel but clean and friendly staff. If you like pop culture you will love staying here.
Expected awesomeness, got good. Nice hotel, friendly staff, interesting decor but pricey for wiggly handles and shower heads, pricey breakfast buffet and pricey parking. Trendy: yes. Kitchy: yes. Affordable: not really.
Enjoyed our stay at the Curtis. Very convenient downtown location. Stayed in the 4th floor, the perfect pair floor. Recommend for a denver stay.
Amazing team of people that are friendly and knowledgeable of the Denver! They have a FUNtastic lobby and are also pet friendly:)!
From a great check-in experience to checking out, this was a great time.
Staff were very helpful with our early arrival. We were able to store or bags and work in the lobby. Each floor of the hotel is themed, giving the place a lot of charm. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. It's been a pleasant stay and we will likely come here again.
Hotel was fine in terms of access/location, cleanliness and amenities. It's very kitchsy though, wasn't aware it was a pop culture themed hotel, so you kind of need to be into that or not care (I don't care), but for some, it might seem over the top...
Fast WiFi. Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Located in downtown Denver. E-check in and digital key offered, allowing guest to go directly to the room, which is great for late night arrivers. Quiet elevators: had a room next to the elevator and couldn't hear it at all.
Ketch hotel, each floor has a theme ...staff is super cool too.
The bad: I didn't like having to file a credit card dispute after 2 unreturned calls to the manager in order to recover a duplicate $38 parking charge.
The hotel was under construction. The beds were saggy. The pullrod on the drapes fell apart in my hand.
The good: Central location. The shower was hot & had good water pressure.
Terrific cookies and great hospitality. Very convenient location for any activities downtown, including the convention center.
Great place in the middle of downtown, customer service is excellent.
I'm not crazy about the themes. Im here on business and most of the hotel's themes feel immature and childish. It would be different if I were here on vacation with my family. The staff are nice. Room is clean. Walkable to other areas of the city. For the price, I would stay at a different hotel offering more sophisticated amenities.
Nice hotel in great location but room bathroom is underwhelming
Very {kitchy} Fun place? Haven't explored all of it yet but great bar/restaurant downstairs, most excellent grilled cheese sandwiches & tomatoes soup!
Nicely remodeled older hotel. Staff is helpful and attentive. The rooms are decent sized. It is a little noisy, but not bad; we could hear our neighbor's phone ringing, and noise passes in from the hallway. Overall, it was a good stay; I would consider staying here again.
DO NOT STAY HERE! The customer service is terrible! I booked 5 rooms for a corporate event and had to call them every single day leading up to the reservation b/c it was incorrect. They are the most unhelpful people I have ever worked with. When you book a room they transfer you to another call center that has no clue where the hotel is that you want to stay in. The worst hotel booking experience ! They refused to refund my money and they refused to let me speak to a supervisor.
Great looking place. Very clean. Wish they would give a little more information up front about parking and where coffee and food is etc.
I was getting married in Denver with everyone coming in from out of town. The whole experience top to bottom was amazing. We got to tour the hotel before we signed our block contract and we were both sure it was the right hotel for us. Every floor had a different theme. We also booked two suites the Spice Girls suite, which is perfect for my wife because her and her girlfriends could get ready and dance all they wanted. My groomsmen and I got ready in the Rolling Stones suite while reading the Stones bill they racked up after a concert at Colorado State in 1969.
The valet staff and porters were particularly attentive to our needs and helped us without question.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The next time we're in Denver we will definitely come back
Brilliant location. Decor is amazing, if you've a taste for horror movies, stay on the 13th floor, wow!!
Lovely staff, great place to stay, modern designed rooms
Went here for the Coloween event and was disappointed in the service, quality, and staff at the event. Definitely not worth the cost.
Friendly helpful staff. Quaint hotel with character. Restaurant food was good. Convenient location.
A funky place. Quiet for being in the heart of downtown Denver. We would stay again. It is very comfortable, and dining in is better than normal.
A nice hotel in a great location. Had a fun atmosphere and the staff were very accommodating. Warm cookies upon arrival as well!
Hotel Curtis is awesome!! Celebrated or kids wedding here, Justin and Kelsey Oliver. Your staff was so great at handling this special occasion. Beautiful rooftop wedding and reception area, food was really great couldn't have asked for better. All who attended thought it was the coolest wedding they had ever attended, even the older crowd. It was so special we will never forget this very fun experience we had at The Curtis. Also enjoyed our stay in one of your great rooms, kind of pricey but stayed with our other son Nick Oliver who booked a room for that night. Thanks again, Pretty cool hotel and staff let everyone know how much everyone enjoyed it. You guys should use some of their photos in your wedding gallery, just beautiful. Mother of the groom, Debbie Oliver
Great spot! Excellent rooms and fantastic staff. My favorite place to stay when I'm in Denver.
Good location and clean rooms. The decoration was a little weird. The restaurant was decent and good bar. The room was quiet and I was able to sleep through the night.
I booked this hotel for my wife and I With our puppy for our anniversary. The contact and communication from the staff, the special requests I asked for were beyond any expectations I could have imagine. It was so great we've made it a tradition every year to stay here, it simply is a fantastic and Pet friendly! Looking forward to our stay coming up! (2016 delayed review)
A really cool hotel, loved the decor and friendly staff
The 13th floor is really scary but the cookies make up for it! Very accommodating staff!
The service and staff were great. We enjoyed our stay and the room. The only disappointment was that the channel lineup did not include the network to watch the Colorado Rockies game on Saturday. Since we were in for the night, we missed it :(. This is a must in a Downtown Denver hotel.
This hotel was so much fun to stay at! They allowed us to bring our dog, and had a bowl of water and treats at the front door. Every floor has its own theme and the elevator plays a little song. I loved the decor. There was no free WiFi, which was not great, but everything else about this place was so fun that I really didn't mind. Great place to stay!
The staff was very helpful and the rooms were in great condition. Would definitely stay there again. Great location. Close to entertainment and food.
Amazing service and the best steaks we have ever had
Great hotel. Great service. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. No complaints
Conference facilities and food catered was great. Would definitely consider using it for future events.
Nice clean and quiet rooms, good accommodations, great location.
Was okay, stayed for NYE. The themed floors were a little tacky and the noises in the elevator were weird. Also the housekeeper opened the door after one knock without even giving a chance for us to say anything. Room was really hot when we got there (set to 76 degrees which seems really high to me). Bed was comfortable though and the room was nice, had excellent views of Denver.
Very cool hotel. Every floor has a different theme. For example: chick flicks, cars, horror, video games, etc. The staff was incredibly accommodating, and let us store our bags before check in while we explored the city. The room was spotless and the bathroom was very spacious. I will definitely stay here again next time I m in Denver.
Great hotel, cool vibe. Excellent restaurant and bar.
Friend stays here every time he's in Denver and enjoys it.
Perhaps one of the coolest and most fun hotels I've ever stayed in, the Curtis has it all- comfy beds, a great attached restaurant/lounge, fun decor and great proximity to the Denver convention center.
Super small rooms. No snacks or sodas available, some staff unfriendly, not all. Food in bar was ok. All in all no recommendation from me. Plenty of better places and bigger rooms in denver.
A themed hotel. Superhero floor is my favorite. 13th floor was not so cool....lol
