Very nice authentic Cuban place. I come often for my coffee and food. Very friendly staff and live music on Friday nights (call ahead). Food is delicious.

Very nice and cozy Cuban restaurant, the attention is excellent and the food is exquisite. I recommend them to everyone if you want to eat good Cuban food and have a good time this is the best Cuban restaurant in Jacksonville. They also prepare good drinks, thank you all for having made me spend a happy birthday especially to the owners, Melany and Camila who was the one who attended us.

Worst services ever, and even give you attitude, order Oxtail and 20 minutes later they came back saying oh sorry we don't have oxtail. Plates came 1 by 1, Horrible chicken fingers for the kids.

THE QUALITY OF SERVICE AND ATTENTION IS SURPRISING. A CLIMATE TO FEEL AT HOME. I INVITE EVERYONE TO K COME AND SEE AUTHENTIC CUBANS ASSISTING THE PLACE A PARADISE OF WINDOW AND PLEASURE.

Lechon Asada, Fried Pork Bites, and Ham Crocettes were delicious. Yucca was the best I've had in my life, and I grew up in Miami having yucca made by Cuban mothers.

It was really nice and the food was authentic Cuban!!

Friendly hosting staff, Good size portion, Prices in line with Orlando, Refreshments are by the can. Location does have promise but presently is a work in progress.

The food was great! The owner was very attentive and caristmatic. Will definitely recommend and visit again.

Definitely will come back! Today we tried lechon asado, congri was perfectly cooked and croquetas and empanadas were fantastic . My husband is Cuban and we recommend this place if you want a taste from Cuba.

The place was very clean and the staff was very helpful and on point, the Cuban sandwich was great as well as the yellow rice and sweet plantains, will be back to try the other things on the menu.

Great Cuban food!! The real Dea,l the live music was on point and the Croquetas de Jamon (ham stuffed croquettes) were Delicious!!

I took my office there for lunch today.WOW is all can can say ! We tried everything from soup to desert. It is real authentic Cuban food and it was prepared to perfection! I am so impressed, am bringing family and friends there for dinner tomorrow. Thank you for a wonderful experience and amazing food! Really appreciate the friendly service as well.

Friendly staff with Covid-19 protocols in place. One of if not the next Cuban sandwiches I have had since leaving Tampa. Cafe con leche and cuban toast were done to perfection. SO glad they are just around the corner.

Cuban sandwich is a party in the mouth the ropa is so good, the mojitos are killer(dont drink to much! Lol the hit you fast!) Service was impeccable everytime. The live music is always fun!! Love this place! I crave that cuban sandwich

It is a very authentic Cuban food, nice and clean restaurant, we felt like home!

Small Place, Super Clean and OMG, the food was delicious!!! We went around 8:00 PM and the location is kind of dark. Don't let that stop you, I almost did but my husband insisted and it was not a mistake. Food is full of flavors and it feels very home made. Very nice staff!! Definitely will go back!!

Went in to try one of their cubans and the owner recommended to try some of his cuban soup as an appetizer. Both were amazing, will definitely be back.

OUTSTANDING service, atmosphere, and value for our money! Our meal portions were adequate, and sufficient, yet not too large so as to need a to go box. Their menu has a wide range of excellent appetizers, meals, sandwiches, and desserts, but the presentation exceeded the actual flavor of the food. We felt it was on par with flavor of similar dishes elsewhere in Jax, offering the same items, but here every dish was plated, and served with pride, and chef like presentation! Note the new of the restaurant on the appetizer plate, a very nice touch that put a smile on our faces! Some menu items were not available (I. E. Mountain Dew). Our server was a very kind and professional waiter. His English was excellent. The restrooms are very clean, and there is music with a little bit of a light show on one side, which we chose to sit away from due to light sensitivity issues. Overall, VERY IMPRESSIVE CUBAN RESTAURANT. Couldn't give the 5th star due to average taste of excellent prepared food, and lack of some menu items at the time of our visit.

It's the best Cuban Restaurant in Jacksonville. We went there for lunch party today and had amazing experience! Service was friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly and portions were large. All dishes were made from the scratch including desert and all were delicious! Ox Tail looked Great. Cuban Stew / Soup was to die for and steak sandwich was unbelievable! Now I know how Cuban food supposed to taste! This is a little Gem hidden from the World that just have been discovered! I would try all dishes there just to know how they supposed to taste. (And Flan...) Man it was superb!
If you miss great taste of great food, visit them today!

I was told of this Cuban restaurant on San Jose and then I must try. Being raised in South Florida I was able to enjoy a plethora of Cuban cuisine.
Jacksonville has been lacking truly authentic Cuban cuisine for many years, until now.
The food is cooked to order, fresh, savory and delicious. The restaurant is small and quaint and the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and cordial.
If you d like a taste of cute baby cuisine without going to Miami you must try this particular restaurant. I highly recommend it to close friends and acquaintances on a regular basis.

Best cuban food we have had in central florida. Great colada's (espresso) , great plantains and black beans. My husband said the Ropa vieja (old clothes) was better than he had where he grew up in miami. We didn't take pictures but the portions are very large.

Best Cuban I ve ever had! The watermelon juice was amazing as well! Very reasonable priced and delicious!

Food and atmosphere are wonderful. If you want a sandwich, try the Cuban (of course) and the Midnight. The plated meals are also fantastic.

I really enjoyed our meal here. We dined in on a Friday night, to my surprise they had live music, which was awesome. It was a little loud in my opinion and as a result we chose to sit outside. My meal was great. My fiancee's pressed sandwich was tasty but the bread was soggy. We loved the little touch they added to dessert.

First, let me say you should try it. Nice people, convenient covered outdoor seating and good traditional Cuban food. My reason for 4 stars is that I was really disappointed in their congris. Bland and dry, I won t order it again. My Picadillo however, was excellent, as were the plantains. My wife raved about her Shexi sandwich, and I took a bite of it and agreed. Prices for entrees are high, and I recommend they add lunch portions of them at reduced cost. I will be back, probably for dinner when I can justify the cost.

When you want to spend time at home, eat a good Cuban food with the true flavor that characterizes it, come to this place where all the love is given day by day, excellent services from the workers and excellent drinks. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate with you the graduation of our daughter.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful with questions about the menu. The desserts are made in house and you should definitely try one of each! The cafe con leches is amazing! We are 100% coming back!

The lechon is good but the rice was re-heated. Service was okay. Just didn't WOW us but it is very clean and covid19 conscientious. Cafe was rather weak for cafe cubano.

Best place in town. I have gone here twice already and the food is always so good. The cuban sandwich melts in your mouth. The seasoning is just right. I will definitely reccomend coming here.

This cafe opened a short time ago and my son and I discovered it recently. They have wonderful food. Everything we have tried has been delicious and fresh. We have a favorite Cuban dish, the Media Noche sandwich. I've eaten this traditional Cuban sandwich from Tampa to Key West and everywhere between and I can state that this is the best Cuban sandwich I've ever tasted.

The side dishes are wonderful, too. Black beans and rice are another favorite and here it's perfectly seasoned and tasty. Try a taste, you'll be glad you did! Yum!

We came here unexpectedly and we are so glad we did! A hidden gem, i was born in Cuba and this place is authentic as it gets with live music and all. You have to try their true homemade mojitos, what a treat. I had they're excellent Vaca frita (just like moms!) and crispy fried ham croquettes and our friend had the best cuban sandwich he's ever had. The server, Mr Garcia, was so attentive making drinks to our liking! I am extremely impressed with this place food and their service. The owner was there working hard on her birthday, this restaurant should be on your to go list if you're ever in Jacksonville!!! Support!
