They have a better selection of plants than any other place in this area. Although they are SOMETIMES higher in price than the big box stores you can always find out more about the plants and how to plant them, which makes your garden more beautiful and successful for the year.

Every time I'm here I always experience the same horrible bad customer service.. not sure if it's because I'm Hispanic or what.. but I think I'm done with this place! One star just because I have to in order to be able to leave a review....

This place is absolutely beautiful and if I were rating solely on the looks, atmosphere, and amazing organization skills I'd give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, I've seen this place has some pretty hefty issues with pests especially in their houseplant greenhouse. Their plants in the more "indoor" areas seem to be healthy and I've never had any issues with pests. With that being said, I had to subtract a star because even with their affordable prices pest treatment can be expensive and often fail for unexpierenced people. I still believe this place is amazing and definitely worth a trip for seasoned hobbyist and landscapers as long as you know what to look out for you'll be fine.

Time to plant your flowers and herbs. This place has EVERYTHING! When we have visitors from out of town, this is one of the places they want to go. Friendly people work here and can help you with loading your car. Thanks!

I didn't "dislike it" technically, I was online purchasing my gardening supplies and decided to give a local shop my business. However, there is NO online shopping, only a gift card is available for purchase. You can't even peruse their inventory and decide if you want to shop there, and pick out ahead of time what you would like to buy. Spending as little time in public as possible is a necessity for me, very high risk for a terrible outcome if I contracted Covid-19. If I MUST purchase in person, at least I could do it quickly by knowing ahead of time what I'm buying. Life as we knew it is over, online shopping is the lifeline that will keep small businesses alive in the future. And the future is now.

On 10/12/19 My family and I went to the pumpkin festival to take advantage of the festival and the going out of season sales. We got a great deal on some lamb ears and some red vines! We got a so so deal for this money tree but it was calling out to us! (The picture I attached was me walking halfway past it at my house and did a double take than took a pic, lol.) The festival was good as usual but we indulged in all of it last year so we skipped out on some things this time around. They served free hot dogs and waters!!! Couldn't ask for better customer appreciation than that!!!!

First time there. Met Shirley and Penny. Really nice women who took care of me and my puppy. Showed me around the whole place, really nice size, and gave me pointers on what works and why (moved from NY and not the same soil so a lot of my favorites are not going to work in DE). I am so excited to come back and get the trees/bushes we want and the flowers for our gardens.

This is a wonderful nursery. The buyer for the nursery escorted us around and pointed out which tree was healthiest to buy and why. We have gone back to this nursery several times and still haven't seen all the displays and greenhouses. The grounds are well organized for anyone who just wants to wander. We consider visiting East Coast Garden Center a must each spring, summer and fall.
