This first time in Boston. The Marketplace was cool. They had a concert going on. Number of stores to check out. Lots of restaurants to eat from. We just had gelato, which was delicious. Nice place to go on weekend.

We rode the ferry over to this place and had a nice time. So many shops and great places to eat. Kids loved the carousel. Walking distance to the state house from the docks. The enegry here is amazing. Loved the people playing their instruments. Def worth a boston stop.

An overwhelming selection of food to choose from. Some lovely places to grab and go and located in an a public plaza to sit down if you want to enjoy your lunch. Lovely shops and definitely a good tourist spot to add in if visiting Boston for the first time.

They have a couple of informative walking tours that are free! One takes you into Little Italy so you can stop for a meal afterwards. The tour guides are friendly and knowledgeable.
The food at the marketplace is amazing but there is always a crowd that can make it difficult to navigate and I have seen many lost meals on the floor

Wicked awesome market with an Sandusky amazing food court! Fresh, buttery lobster rolls, savory clam chowdah, lobster mac & cheese, pizza, burgers, sweets of all kinds, just too much to list. The local folks sharing their music was fantastic. So much talent and courage to play for the crowds. If you're in Boston this is a must see location. Do not miss out!!

I live Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market in the Summer. Such diversity of things to see, things to eat, shops, performances, etc. The list could go on and on and you still couldn't even come close to knowing until you've been there. In a word: AWESOME!

My wife and i headed down friday morning from NH for the Valentines weekend, 2020. Arriving around 10am we checked in to the Marriott Long Wharf across the street from Faneuil Hall. Never had it so good with a small crowd only. Things were much more accessible than they are on weekends when we have visited prior. Highly suggest the "during the week visit!"

One of the must visit place during Christmas.
An mesmerizing decorations of lights coupled with an amazing lights and music show around the humongous Christmas tree will add to an amazing experience.

It is wonderful to see that are so many places to buy and get something to eat. There are many types of food that anyone can really try like burgers, sandwiches, chicken, vegetables salad, and dessert in the bakery like cream puffs, pie, and cakes, and for shopping there have clothes, shoes, jewelry, and sports gears and clothes including their favorites team like the bruins, Celtics, red Sox, and Patriots. The market place is the extravaganza place to come while you're visiting Boston.

Faneuil Hall is a nice stop along the Freedom Trail but the marketplace is nothing spectacular. It's a mish mash of novelty and chachki items, liken to airport curios. There are some historical elements within the market area that are good reads, but the focus is more on tourism not historic relevance.

Such a fun time coming to this market. Lots of souvenirs and trinkets to buy. You may even see a talented violin player while you window shop. Last time I was there (three ish years ago), a group of us went to Cheers and had the Norm burger. It looks stunning at night time with the architecture and lights.

Love coming here to eat when in Boston. The selection of food is amazing and you can find almost any type of food. My one complaint would be seating. Because it is a touristy hotspot, the seating is always a problem (when I have been there). The options always outweighs that problem.

Fantastic open air market with plenty of charm and unique shops. Some excellent bars and eateries in this area, enough to really give one plentiful options. Easily accessible and convienant from downtown hotels.

The Farnell Hall on the Freedom Trail in Boston was built by the wealthy businessman Peter Farne in 1742. It was originally used as a market. Before the outbreak of the War of Independence, it was used as a venue for all-city gatherings and free discussions in Boston. Witnessing the meetings and speeches of countless patriots, it is also known as the "cradle of freedom" and played an important role in American history.
This is a stately three-storey red brick building with a Greek-style duplex. After a large-scale renovation, it was reopened in August 1976. When you walk into the hall, you can see on the wall: This is an important moment in Boston. Nowadays, the conference hall on the first floor is now used as a venue for the gathering of towns and towns. Daniel s huge oil paintings Freedom and the United States , Now and Forever dominated this conference room.

Lots of fun for all. Lots of shops and restaurants. Also entertainers are always around juggling, dancing or singing. But if you don't do well in crowds, this isn't the place for you. It can be crazy crowded on a summer day. Great for families, or a date, or just for people watching with a cup of coffee.

I love the history here. I found the National Park Ranger talk at the Faneuil Hall Meeting Hall fascinating. The rangers are so knowledgable. I enjoyed learning the Black History of American History. It was inspiring to see where FREDERICK Douglass spoke about abolishing slavery. I stood on the very same floor where Crispus Attucks, a black man who was the casualty of the Boston Massacre, was laid to rest.

Definitely should be on your todo list. Huge assortment of food and desserts. Lots of shops underneath and on the sides. We tried out several of the desert/pastry stands to satisfy someone's sweet tooth.

Crowded outside mall. Usually alot going on here. The Christmas tree is nice every year. If you need something from a store here, head on in. If you dont, there are a bunch of better ways to spend time in the city.
