It s a beautiful landmark that s a great stop after a walk through the square. It s sad to see that it s now a marketplace but if that s what it takes to keep a cherished part of Boston, then fully support. Be sure to check out the history downstairs.

It's a bit of a tourist trap, can be thronged and the food isn't particularly cheap. Look for the Best of Boston shop nearby - their stuff is better value and quality than the souvenir stalls in the market itself. It's a lively spot and the atmosphere is enjoyable and worth visiting on a clear evening with the Christmas lights twinkling.

Nice historic location but no history. Had to google to remember the significance of the building. Over commercialized. What happened to teaching the next generation about American history?

Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market were high on my list of must see places recommended by friends. The shopping was not as great as I imagined it would be. However, I was amazed that the amount of foot traffic each time I went. Morning, noon, night ... it did not matter. The area was bustling with shoppers. If you are looking for low prices, this is not the place to shop. Name brands are abundant and the cupcakes were pretty good. You have to visit at least once if you are in Boston!

A must go for any person going downtown boston. This is an iconic place, perfect if you are going downtown and / or following the freedom trail. A lot of different foods, a nice enviroment and a ton of history around you@

Visited the Quincy market and then did one of the freedom trails. What you first notice when you go in the market are all the wonderful aromas coming from the food stalls. There was everything from Chinese food to sweet pastry counters, all reasonably priced. I tried clam chowder and picked up a Boston cream pie. Foodie heaven.

You can come to Faneuil hall day or night anytime of the year and there is always something to see or do. It's super touristy but always fun none the less. The street performs are incredible.

Interesting place with many options to eat, a popular destination for the night owls who like to party. Otherwise, too much touristic for my taste. Still, it's a nice refreshing place in such a cramped downtown. Needs way more nature, trees though.

A nice tourist attraction in the Boston area. There is live music, shops, and plenty of restaurants. Right on the freedom trail, so it is an easy stop to make. During the summer the people are all outside on the patios. This area of Boston is usually very busy. Great stop to make if in the city.

Loved the area, with Faneuil Hall being the main attraction. You can almost see the history of the 1700's building. There is something there for everyone, great shopping, great food (both cheap and high end).

Against its original purpose, now Quincy market is almost a fully touristic place. Inside the Quincy market, there are many franchises, which is not interesting for me. But outside it, there are many food and goods stalls. Also, some artists play music or tricks to attract tourists. Good to visit.

Neat place to stop. The old meeting house is still available to see and it is still in use. Great for history buffs, and it is right on the freedom trail. The ground floor has food, coffee, and gifts with the meeting house on the second floor just as it was back before the revolution.

Too nutty, for me. -but, the people I was with like that crazy, pushy, hectic atmosphere. So, if you like youre choices in food, and ti like pushing youre way to it, then you will love it.

Durgin Park still a great place for good old Yankee cooking. Fish chowdah is wicked awesome and the New England boiled dinner was good. Clam cup a chowdah was delicious as well as the Johnny cake. Shopping was good and enjoyed it in spite of the cold rainy Boston weather

Pretty cool place. Blink was amazing. Tree had lots of lights. Every 30 minutes there was music and a light show. Well worth the wait.
Lots of stores. Plenty of places to grab a bite. Something for everyone.
So much to see and buy.
Pretty lights. Cobble stone walkway.

A classic. It seems like it wouldn't be a visit to Boston without taking a walk around Faneuil Hall. It can get really crowded though so be prepared, especially in the food area-there's usually tons of people and not enough seating.
