Historical place. Often doesn't have enough seating. Fun touristy place, but also a tourist trap.

Historical place. Often doesn't have enough seating. Fun touristy place, but also a tourist trap.
It's very much a tourist place. But one peppered with history, so worth a visit. Lots of food options and shopping.
Diverse and delicious food options. No place like it in Boston
So many things to look at and do there. Was an amazing time well spent in the city with my husband for our anniversary.
Another wonderful piece of history in Boston. Friendly staff are willing to provide directions and recommendations and the hall is beautiful and a quick pitstop!
I haven't been here in years. Until this past November. Pretty much the same with a few new stores.
An unbelievable experience all of the food courts on wonderful everyone going to Boston needs to stop there
Historically significant though less extremely tourist activities would be more appropriate.
Classic tourist location. A lot going on here. From the local entertainers and tour guides. To the great stores and food vendors.
Great history in this place. Great food in this place. Great environment this place is. Take the family or take yourself, there is something to do for everyone and certainly many things worth seeing in the hall and the immediate vicinity.
You can just feel the history in the Great Hall. Amazing!
Historic family friendly local fresh food is expensive and little sitting area but great place for Boston culture
The selection of seafood and other dishes is just big, anyone will find what he like to eat
Great place to hang out and shop or eat. Nice tourist place
It was awesome having to many food options, but beware that this place is CROWDED. I would still recommend it for the experience and the food.
Always a great place to visit when in Boston. I ate too much.
My first time here, and it's beautiful. I'm in the museum inside of Fanueil Hall, (little history) it's one of the first places that concerns about British taxation were heard. The outdoor mall itself has the original cobblestone in the streets and so many place to rest, and eat.
Beautiful market , lot of activities and food choices must go before of after your whale watching
Really cool place to check out if you re in the area! Lots of great local food and things to explore
Historic Boston with lots to do near aquarium, make sure to visit
Very nice market with lots of small tasty food places
Lots of choices for food and shops. Buy souvenirs or classic american food. Very busy though.
Faneuil Hall gets better every year. Brick and he mortar is well and alive. Great people, food, drinks, deserts, and shopping.
Has great entertainment, it also has tons of vendors and is in a good location.
One of the most happening spots in the Boston area!! A must place to go and spend some time on New years' eve.
I try to visit as much as I can when I go to weekend market around the corner. Nice eating.
Food is good and cheap. Request your receipt in advance or they will get away with it by using any stupid excuse.
Still the place to shop. Open air mall would be the best way to describe it. The street performers can be fantastic as well. Food court is to die for. Anything and everything.
Fun to go and see all the kinds of different foods. Very busy though.
Like to walk threw Faneuil Hall .I hope they don't change the name.I like the way they have besides food for everyone. The chess tables and all the free games you can play for free. There's always something to entertain you.
There's food, entertainment and shopping. It is also near to other attractions
A little bit expensive but a nice place to take the family
Historical and Fun. Plenty of shops and great local food hall
Bostonian so I love this place but I won't pay $6 for a slice of pizza !!! Go a block down the street to Haymarket !!!
Good food options. And while we were there, someone was playing Disney toons on a brightly decorated piano.
Historical location in Boston. Marketplace features an eclectic variety of kiosks and restaurants.
I LOVE all of the different food and gift vendor choices. Surprised there weren't flower or fruit and veggie vendors. Maybe we just missed it. Sit down seating provided in some places and down the stairs restrooms. The CVS vending machine was brlliant!
Lots of places to eat. And bakeries alot of selection
An absolute must-see while in Boston. Our trip would not have been the same without seeing this beautiful historic site.
Lots of quality choices here. Must visit for your stay in Boston!
Had an excellent time here!! So many different choices offered from all the food vendors here. Everything looked absolutely delicious, and was!! Service was outstanding by all. Highly recommend!!
Easy to find ramps to enter from the side with a baby stroller
It's still a great place to go, but I miss all the little independent shops that used to be there when I was younger. Seems to be a lot of chain stores now.
Shock to many who have never experienced this kind of market place. Every section is filled with local cuisine with a central hall dedicated to sitting down. From daily breakfest to late night pub, this location has you covered. Locally, you can veer into the freedom trail and or visit the first colonial state house.
There's a cover charge and long lines everywhere after 10p
Great place to spend a day. Great food selection in center building.
Huge food hall, lots of choices. Go in, you won't regret it
Man we can get almost all cuisines right from Indian to Thai, continental every thing what u need best place to have the food try pastries which are just amazing and also budget friendly and behind them there was a shopping lane better to avoid because prices are bit high but quality is good..please visit when if you are in BOSTON
This place was pretty cool had a bunch of shops, restaurants, super crowded. Got an awesome Boston hoodie there!
Had a lobster roll, clam chowder, and North Side Bakery all while shopping away. Amazing history and fun to walk through!
Awesome place...buzzing with young ppl. We happened to b there the day nxt to graduation ceremony and the atmosphere was happy everywhere. All in all a great spot to grab coffee n breakfast. Dont forget to play a free game of chess in the open.
Definitely a tourist trap. Food court type atmosphere so if it's your first day in Boston and don't know where to eat you'll find plenty of choices.
This space is simple but it's historical significance is overwhelming. The hall is full of shops and eateries. There are door to door shops outside of the building and across the plaza in addition to bars/restaurants riddled throughout the immediate area.
Faneuil Hall is a super fun place to visit whether you're a tourist or a local. The area is filled with shops, quick service food, and sit down restaurants. It has an extremely pleasant atmosphere (live music, tables set up with chess boards and chess pieces, etc) I've been to Boston 3 times and all three trips wouldn't have been the same without a trip to this historic and fun area.
This a really historic area. There are paths designed for people to follow multiple black history related sites. There are street performers that work for tips. It's a good place to start for tourists.
I love this place there's a energy people food shopping it's a happening place
It's kinda touristy but a fun place to go. There are usually lots of street performers on the weekends during the nice weather.
This is the famous Quincy market. Has a lot of eateries in a single stretch. You could get crushed when there is crowd.
I like lively atmosphere so this was great and there are musicians performing here sometimes which makes it kind of fun.
There are lot of performances going on right outside this building and is good to stop by when doing the freedom trail as well.
Always a great place to visit. Such a wide variety of foods and places to shop. I love all the historical buildings that are mixed with the new.
I love Faneuil Hall: there's always something to see and do (and eat!). Sightseeing, shopping, people-watching, and it's in the heart of my favorite city.
One of the prettiest places in Boston. it's touristy, but always a good time
Visit for the history, grab a souvenir, stop for a photo opp, or listen to the speakers, comedians and musicians out front. Faneuil Hall is a must-stop on your tour of this classic American city. Then wander through the surrounding shops and cafes for a tasty tour of the world.
Nice historic building. The free tours are excellent.
Fun place with a great selection of different food and shopping.
Become pretty much chain store center, not as quaint as it used to be.
Historic location with old buildings and shops everywhere. Grab a bite to eat or learn about the past. Usually there are street performers here during the summer too. Nice place to relax in the center of Boston.
Awesome place to go for lunch or dinner. So many options and great food
Very very crowded and a bit pricey for simple food, but tons of food options. Several bathrooms that considering the number of people are not horrible.
Fantastic choice of street food. We'll worth a visit just for the bustling atmosphere if not the food.
Very cool place with lots of history. Central hub of tourist activity in downtown Boston
Super cool place to hangout with kids and friends and family.
Very, very touristy, but plenty of shops and local food court, in a very historic neighborhood and building.
Met a really interesting chap in Faneuil Hall, Boston. Gary A Gregory is a historian who has researched and recreated the process used for printing the original Declaration of Independence. His dedication is quite amazing. He came to the UK to work with the Worshipful Company of Stationers and Newspaper Makers to recreate the Caslon typeface used on the document and prints his copies on a contemporary printing press in Faneiul Hall. The document itself is identical to the original. Very impressive.
If you're in Faneuil Hall stop by and you can purchase a copy for $17.76 (1776) - get it?!
Fun place to go shopping, eat, hang out! I would recommend going with plenty of time to spend. Will definitely go back!
A nice place but please get air conditioning it is so hot during the summer
Beautiful area filled with rows of food stalls and small store carts. When we were there they had a zumba class and people just hopped right in.
If there was a sixth star it would be filled. This is the oldest Marketplace in the country and for the most part is unchanged. Walk the same streets where this country's freedom was established over three hundred years ago. If you'd like to sit down at the oldest bar in the country you can stop at the bell in hand where the Declaration of Independence was first proposed. At the time it was the green dragon. Or for a bit of nostalgia feel free to grab a beer and propose a cheers at cheers where one of the funniest sitcoms was decided. Fanuel Hall is all about a warm smile and that's how cheers was filmed in Boston. The warm smile and the tall tales of Eddie Doyle at cheers, formerly a different bar made history here. Minutes from the North End, the aquarium, multiple public transportation Outlets and an enormous array of shops and restaurants this is a historic requirement for any traveler or local. If you get bored of the shopping and the food you can even hop on the back of a horse-drawn carriage and see the sights of the city and Marketplace that helped make this country what it is today. Boston is forever changing every second of every day but they have done a phenomenal job preserving the history of Fanueil Hall. Close your eyes and remember three hundred years ago and open them and the only thing that has changed are the shops, the clothing, the people wearing them and the times.
