Cold spring Depot is an excellent place to grab a bite after a hike or wandering around Cold spring village. They have a good beer selection is cold and on tap or in cans most local, all delicious.

Food is okay, service is terrible. There were only two tables other than ours, one of them was already served and still took 25 minutes to get a sandwich and salad from the time we ordered, quality of food just so-so. We have been going there for years but this time will be the last.
Excellent food. Terrible customer service. Waited for an hour for the food, no apology or compensation for our wait. In hindsight I probably would have just left. When we alerted the wait staff, they were defensive and quite unapologetic. Most other customers seemed to be having a similar experience- but the food was great.
Love sitting outdoors here in nice weather. Excellent draft selection. Would be great to see a vegetarian friendly entree beyond salad.

My sister thought the Portobello burger was fantastic. The rosemary French fries were VERY good. The calamari was disappointing. My salmon salad was tasty. My nephew devoured the lobster salad sandwich. About $80 total. Only drinks were iced tea. Trains zoom by and can be startling if you eat outside. Great service and an overall pleasant experience.
Unique as it's right by the metro North railroad Amtrak track so it rumbles by every few minutes. Sometimes they have live music and fast service.

A very nice place located right near the metro north train station. The outdoor area on nice days is very busy and there is a long wait to sit outside. Seating indoors is in low demand, if you are in a rush sit indoors. The food is surprisingly good. Brunch comes with drinks.
If they served more vegan food, I'd give them a 5, but their service and safety during covid was great when I visited .
Good food and drink, not as many food options but a lot of drink options. A cool location in an old train station. The train goes right by. A block away from the water, right on main Street.
Horrible service, while the food doesn't make up for the service, it is ok. The train is very cool, while dining outside is very nice.

A nice place to get a beer before you head back into the city, as long as you stick to drinking. The food is horrible Sysco preprocessed bar food, so stay away from it.

Great location! Love to sit down for a change and watch the trains go by and not have to be on one of them, as I am as a daily commuter. There is a barman there and his name is Tim. He has a wicked sense of humor, dry and wry, just the way I like it. It's like cuddling a mother-in-law who happens to be a Hedgehog :-) great place to go for a drink and relax. They also have a very nice fireplace in the bar.
Love this place. I visit it every time I m in Cold Spring. Ask for their seasonal beer list and remember to try fries from their menu of fries. The service is not quick, but they will try to coordinate it with train timings so you can pay your check and get to the station in time for the next train to the city.
