The food was good here. Definitely on the pricey side. But it is a bit more upscale for Portuguese restaurant. Steak was good and the atmosphere is nice in here. The wait staff is very attentive here as well very on top of your needs.

Beyond nasty!! Chicken wasnt even cooked properly, it looked so gross I couldn't attempt to try it. There was no Mozambique sauce, even though that's the plate I ordered....the fries were ok and so was the rice which is the only reason for I'm giving them 1 star,(and because you can't give zero stars)but how hard it is to make fries and rice?? Oh and they didnt give bread even though it was ordered....so a chicken Mozambique plate with raw, pink, slimy chicken, no sauce, and no bread! Worst Portuguese place in the world, now I know why people stay clear from this place and stay with the other great Portuguese places in fall river!

If you re not a local or Portuguese, don t expect any kind of friendly service. At least that s what I experienced when I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. Food was poor.

Delicious food! First time coming and will come back again when I'm in the east coast again. Good prices with a lot of food to fill you and have some left over to take home. If you haven't been here before, try this place out!

Amazing restaurant for somewhat traditional Portuguese food, the atmosphere is great and the relaxing and the staff are also great and the food continues to be excellent everytime I go there, and I recommend if going here for a holiday or event to make reservations about otherwise you can just park in their small parking lot across the street and come in for great food.

First time here, food was so delicious, especially the house sauce that comes with the swordfish! Would drink it if I could!

Kind of expensive but the service is fast and attentive, and the food is great. I had the fried salt cod which was incredibly crisp and flavorful

Clippers is a clean place to go have a small snack or a great meal.. Foods always fresh and be going again soon.. Id definitely order the Portuguese steak and potatoes are great.. The chicken is good. Some meats I don't care for here. u can't even tell u what they were when we had the buffet party.. Invited only. Mondays nights when closed, for parties. Theres a great thick linguini that is also great. Would not recommend the rice. Yuck!! But if u want a good steak I'd pick here to go classy once again, clean and a wonderful staff..

I found the Clipper Restaurant and I was a little taken back because I couldn't tell if it was a restaurant or something else, decided to go for it and ended up loving the food. It was delicious, came back again and again. The food was AMAZING!!

Looks can be deceiving with the people always out front hanging around.. Get's you a little uneasy.. However GO IN! OMG , what a beautiful place... with class. HANDS DOWN the best Shrimp Mozambique I have ever had! EVER.... amazing... I yet have not tried anything else but soon will with my family.. I am not Portuguese culture but it is definitely my favorite food!

The place is beautiful but the gravy on my steak hed very little taste. But the steak was tender .

Best Portuguese food in the City. Service is second to none.

Small, quaint restaurant in an unassuming town. A Portuguese style menu with full bar service. Portions were fairly large, enough to take away, and at a respectable price considering. Service was warm, friendly, and on point; We didn't have to stand-by for attentive care. If you're in town, do yourself a favor and stop in. You won't be disappointed!

Refused to serve me a salad. That's a bad policy when you have a thousand dollar bill with trump's face on it hanging over the bar.

Went on August 25th 2017 with my husband we have been before no complaints on the food but was surprised to hear they we're adding a 20 percent gratuity to our bill. When we questioned it they said it's just for this weekend cause they were taking advantage of the people out of state coming from the feast. Well actually they were taking advantage of a lot of locals like ourselves. So not only did they charge us 20 percent they also gave us back the wrong change almost 10 more dollars we also heard a couple on the side of us complaining they were wrongfully charged also so beware of your bill if you go there
