The Clarkson Pump and Patio Reviews

After 25 years of being a Pump customer and bragging about the great wings, food and amazing service I ve been disappointed three times in a row. The last two times the wings were very disappointing and dried out, I really don t know how you guys can let this happen. Somehow things have changed with the lobster avocado roll as well, where is the lobster you used to use, it s lobster mush now. Anyway, I hope someone sees this and talks to the kitchen because I m not the only one noticing.

Great coconut shrimp and massive basket of sweet potato fries to share. Speedy service too.

Best wings in the GTA, but you need to order 40 Creek, double grilled. They deep fry, sauce, then grill. The sugars caramelize and the wings take on a smokey taste without sacrificing the crispy skin.

Food is Amazing and good in quantity for taste and price !! - Service staff is good! A must try place and get together with friends. They also have TV screens so that you can enjoy sports!! Well to find more please explore !!!

Great atmosphere - the patio out the back is pretty sweet. It used to be a great place for a burger and a beer but they've cranked up the prices on the menu the past year or two to the point where they've lost me.

The food here is amazing, Monday night wing nights, I'm very picky with my wings, this place has the best wings in town in my opinion, the pizzas here are also very good and so is the spinach cheese dip! Can't go wrong with the food. The servers here are also very nice, they have a rewards program here, I'm getting messages on my phone every now and then about 25% discounts and free meals on your birthday!

Always great wings and a great atmosphere. Large selection of beer on tap. Good, famous clean pub.

The Pump is a Clarkson institution. Great grilled wings, good burgers. After all it is a pub, not a fine dinning experience. The wait staff are friendly and attentive and the draught beer has always been good.

Took a while to receive my coffee - but the staff were nice.

Shrimp tasted fishy and the crowd was all 50+ not a bad time but nothing to right home about

This has been our go to place for years. I live the food and the back patio which is surprisingly cool even on hot days.

I've been going to the Clarkson Pump over twenty years. I always hung with my friends wing night Monday's and Tuesday's . Employees there are good people. Thoughtful and are eager to please. I will continue to give them my business. Thanks for lasting as long as you did!

Love the patio. It's partially enclosed/heated for the off season.

Have been going here for 25 years and have never been more disappointed. I have celiac and requested the gluten free pasta but there s an additional 3.00 charge. Question the waitress because Erimills and P.C does not charge this. Waitress can back and removed the additional charge but my meal came out extremely cold, waterlogged, and super small portion than usual. Never going back!

Good Pub food, wings and burgers are probably the best bets. The beer selection is decent but could use a bit more variety.

Nice patio, the food was alright. It is outshone by its sister restaurants at Erin Mills and Port Credit.

My favorite patio in Mississauga on the summer. Their wings are awesome and getting them grilled adds special flavor.

Agree with most negative reviews...Food is average...very pedestrian..$17 grilled chicken burger was very dry....If you plan to come here with ur kids...dont..there are better kids friendly restaurants in the area...kids menu has hardly any options...we ordered grilled chicken for our daughter and it was hard as brick..even i could not eat it...all other options were full of cheese..hardly any healthy options....we wont be coming back

Super friendly staff and great patio! It took a little while to put an order in but once we did it, all our food and drinks came out quickly. The patio closes a bit earlier than the hours online say and they stop seating at a certain point, so just be aware of that!
Call ahead to reserve a seat, they were able to reserve a table for us even though I only called about an hour and a half in advance.

Great food. Great service. I will return to sample more of this great menu.

Took my wife, 5 year old son and 2 year old daughter for dinner. Great atmosphere. Service was amazing. Food was fantastic. Kids had some chicken strips and fries. With some mac and cheese bites. We had clam chowder soup, dumplings, mussels and chicken wings. And WOW complements to the chef!! Soooo good! We caught a little of the leaf game and had a really good time.

Dinner with family at the patio bar ... Danna is the best server ever and makes certain everyone is happy ... the food was really good quality and brought to the table hot ...good cooperation among the staff we saw

I visit this spot a lot since I work in the area. I got to say their service is always excellent and they keep the place well kept at all times. Pricing is convenient and they serve large portions.

Excellent. First time there. Service was great. Food was great. Well made and quick. Patio is very well designed with a heated covered outside section as well as a fully exposed outside section. Highly recommended

Nice environment but the bar is always ocoupied by senior men. Not the best place for juniors.

Went Today For My Cousins Birthday We Both Ordered The Alaskan Halibut And Fries.. Never Had Such Terrible Service And Food Ever.. Fish Was Frozen Fish Patties..

Nothing special here, other than a lot of beers on tap. I can't recommend the Ford, but good place to have a casual drink and something to snack on

We were thrre at 5:15 pm. Niomi (sorry for the spelling), was our waitress. What an amazing waitress!!
She was over the top pleasant and helpful. The wings and sweet potato fries were hot and fresh and
cooked to perfection.

Most nights are popular. Wing night is buzy. I would pass.
Food specials are top notch. Reasonable beer and wine selection.

Not a destination for beer lovers - Molson only. Food is just ok. Unfortunately Mississauga has very few good restaurants.

I made reservations for this past Friday for my birthday dinner. Unfortunately, when we got to the restaurant they didn t have the reservation as they had accidentally put it for another day. However, the staff were quick to get us settled into a table and actually made more room for additional guests that came.

The service was a little slow, however it was a Friday night and they were very busy. The staff were very nice and accommodating. Food was great as well. Would definitely recommend and go back again!

The food is very good. The location is great. I remember reviewing this place, however, I guess it did not get posted. The meatloaf burger is nice, though I would have liked it if it was a little more moist. Personal preference.

Unreal wings - love the special they have on Mondays when you buy a drink. Doesn't even have to be beer!
Try grilling the wings too, especially those garlic parmesan ones.

Helpful staff, decent menu, a tad pricey but nice atmosphere
