The Chester Grosvenor Review

Our second visit and just as wonderful as the first. Beautiful and unique location with a super friendly welcome. Fine dining without being pretentious.Excellent service, the waiting staff got the right mix of being personable but not overbearing. The main course lamb was one of the best plates of food I've ever had with a well matched wine flight.

The Brasserie's a great place for dining. With social distancing measures in place it's even better as tables are set further apart giving just that little bit more privacy. The staff are just as attentive as always.

Superb location, comfy beds but you would expect more for the price

This Hotel is good but Overrated , & Dated . As for restaurant we have had excellent Food in many a restaurant .

Its near the center of the city so shopping is highly accessible. Staff were nice and free wi-fi!

Excellent Afternoon Tea, lovely place with Top Notch Service

Was going to give 4 stars as some of the facilities it open. But the food was outstanding treatments I had where amazing I felt so good after them. A d millie the therapist was brilliant. So friendly amazing knowledge on products highly recommend. Will definitely be returning

Faultless service. Although the afternoon tea has shrunk you can easily ask for more and it is brought to you. To mark a celebration it's a great place to go.

Came here for afternoon tea with family while visiting Chester. It was fantastic. I highly recommend it if you enjoy tea and an upscale setting.

this place is absolutely awful, there was skids in the bed and saw a dirty nappy on the floor wouldnt recommend staying at this hotel

Did not stay at the hotel, but are in La Brasserie, fantastic food, very good service, reasonably priced.

Noisy room thanks to guests above. We were moved to another room however very disappointed as have waited many years to visit and stay.

I been there once, invited for a cup of coffee, and the place was amazing. However, my judgement could be not so accurate.

Lovely hotel, great location in the centre of the city and easy walk to the racecourse.
Cosy bar with classic cocktails and large gin selection.

My 2nd time experiencing afternoon tea here. Such beautiful surroundings, amazing staff, and the food was to die for. I would definitely recommend the Grosvenor Hotel for both first timers, and also tourists from afar. You will delight at the apparent luxury, and attendance to detail in all aspects. Fantastic is an understatement.

Dined in la brassarie which offers a fantasic quality of food at a reasonable price. Probably the most well known and luxurious place in chester but for a very good reason - would reccomend a visit if you are in chester.

I just liked their dishes. I always get fantastic service there. The place is clean and the employees are always very friendly. Highly recommended.

I wanted to book a couple spa treatments today... but the spa closed even though the brochure had times that said it was still open. Even after talking with the front desk to arrange an appointment, I was asked to call tomorrow. As a 5 star hotel... this is unacceptable. Also, I expected a bigger telly with 4k capability.

Fantastic dining experience, top quality food and service

Attentive staff and a relaxing atmosphere. A good place to socialise, but the drinks selection could be improved as it is fairly standard.

Great city centre location, lovely staff and lovely hotel

Beautiful Stylish hotel. I throughly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Up to celebrate my daughters 21st Birthday. Impressed from m the time we entered and were met by the doorman. Checked in and had my suitcase brought to my fabulous room by the porter. Has a superb diner at the restaurant. Fantastic Oysters. Will definitely be returning. Thank-you to the staff for making me feel relaxed and welcoming.

I had an amazing time at the Grosvenor. It was a present for my 60th birthday and we stayed in a suite.. Will definitely be returning xx
