Fantastic hotel. Excellent location. So central yet quiet. Lovely room (815 Queen Superior) with good amenities. The Birthday cake was an unexpected and delicious surprise. Super staff - courteous, efficient and friendly. Good value when compared to other Central hotels. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent location and very polite and attentative staff. Room was clean and of an adequate size. Bar food very good and again very polite and attentative staff. I like too that the hotel seems to be quiet despite being busy but you don't get that noisy, over run feeling that you experience at a lot of London hotels. I would have given 5 stars but we had a lot of noise from outside the room (on the street) as people were leaving some event or other. Also we were near the air conditioning system outlet but all hotels have to have one and that is just the luck of the draw. We've stayed here before and did not have that experience.

Location and food Located directly behind Fortnum & Mason, it is very convenient to walk to pubs, cafes, bus stops, subway stations, as well as tourist destinations such as Piccadilly Circus, Soho district, and Chinatown I feel that only the supermarket is a little far away, but it's still close enough. You can also have a simple meal at the bar lounge on the 1st floor, especially hamburgers and fish & chips, which are ridiculously voluminous when ordered at restaurants and pubs, but this is a mini size so you can have multiple small amounts. You can order and enjoy it, and it's cheaper and tastier than where you eat it It is especially recommended when you are tired or have no time, but if you are not staying here, please go there once I used it twice for this stay

Used The Cavendish for meetings and lunch. Staff are always friendly and the food is good. Portions are quite big though so be prepared. The only thing I was a bit disappointed with was the air con! It gets stuffy and uncomfortable at times. Lovely place though. Would recommend.

Blink and you'll think that you're in a five star property. Central location which made the visit that much more enjoyable. Very comfortable stay with hotel staff being ever so helpful. Lovely rooms that include an iron and board amongst other things. Would love to stay again!

Excellent bar service. Restaurant less so, running out of bread rolls at 7pm.

Just home from Afternoon Tea for a family celebration. The staff went above and beyond to make our day special. I would particularly like to thank Bibek the restaurant manager and the lovely young lady, Stephanie who poured our drinks and looked after us...she was absolutely amazing!

Brilliant location next to Fortnum and Mason. Lovely rooms, would recommend stopping on 15th floor - amazing views. Food is good and the staff are very helpful! Will be returning in the future.

Dated bathrooms and furniture in some rooms . Didn t see for a while a hotel without a turdown service. Cleanliness should improve . 1 lady for an entire floor ? Empty minibar ? Weird

Very pleased - although I only stayed for a single night I found the hotel staff in particular very helpful and accomodating. The concierge even rushed a suit of mine to another hotel for overnight dry cleaning as I had arrived too late to make use of the Cavendish's own service - and he collected it for me at 6am the following morning. I will be staying here again when I am next in the area. Stayed July 2013 for one night on business

Great location in the heart of London, just 10 mins walk to the West End but far enough away from all the noise. Room was exceptionally presented and clean. Check in and out both quick and professionally handled. No issues with my stay and would use again for location.

Party location near the pulse of London Visited before and would love to visit again Had the pleasure of staying a little high this time which offered ample views. Have not had time to test the breakfast yet so the rating is possibly set too early. Speaking of breakfast, it is served until 11 o'clock On the weekends Unfortunately the toilet is running so had to close the door so as not to be disturbed

This is our third stay in a year and we loved it. Just about the perfect location for The West End and Soho. Trafalgar Square is a short walk, as is Buckingham palace. Breakfast is fabulous, with loads of veggies options.

Stayed here twice, a week apart. Nicely sized and appointed rooms, excellent showers, fine restaurant, helpful staff. Deduct one star for non-working refrigerator first time and uncontrollable a/c second stay.

The hotel is centrally placed to allow access to theatres or sights. It is very comfortable, with free wifi and Sky tv in the room. Excellent food in the restaurant with attentive staff. Hotel is very quiet at night, despite being well subscribed.

Just spent a delightful two nights with my daughter celebrating our 70th and 40th birthdays. I cannot fault the hotel. Great views from the 14th floor room. It is wonderful and the staff (all of them!) are brilliant. Always a smile, from the dining room staff, reception, chambermaids and the concierge guys. It has made our short break in London a pleasure.

Very convenient location, in the heart of Piccadilly, within walking distance to Theatreland, Leicester Square, Buckingham Palace and Mayfair. The room was clean, luxurious, with lots of amenities, however a little on the small side. The staff was pleasant, smiling and always available to help. The price was reasonable. Overall I was happy with my stay.
