One of the top 3 places I've stayed. It was simply perfect from the accommodations, the grounds, the activities, and the food & service. The phrase 'treated like royalty' is overused, but not in the case of Skibo. My stay was years ago, but the great memories live on. If you ever have a chance to be a guest or become a member, do it.

Just had a great couple of days at Skibo Castle with my wife.
Incredible place to completely relax and unwind in amazing surroundings and with delicious food and drink.
Staff are all very well trained and there is an 'effortless' feel to everything.
Looking forward to visiting again.

Andrew Carnegie, the archetypal philanthropist, would shiver in his grave that his name is abused by such "mine mine mine" people. Walkers and cyclists are encouraged to exercise their legal right to experience ALL of Scotland.!

I want to go here to visit Andrew Carnegies library, Im interested in his secret formula. Andrew Carnegie inspired Napoleon Hill to write the book Think and grow rich.

I would love to spray the wood in the library with a clear lacquer or varnish.
