Beautiful place, incredible food, and lovely service!!

Absolutely fresh and delicious food, friendly service, great vibes and all at incredibly fair prices. Breakfast, lunch or just a quick stop for homemade cupcakes and cookies.2020 may not have been the best year so far, but it HAS grown a few beautiful flowers--The Buttercup Cafe is certainly one of them. We LOVE this new addition to Barnstable Village!

Very well organised and convenient restaurant. They offer generous portions and for inexpensive prices. I loved the food a lot and the waiters were super friendly and explanatory. Will definitely recommend this place.

This is a great little gem ad a great spot right in downtown Barnstable. The breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, and lunch sandwiches are great and made fresh. The staff are people, and really easy online ordering. Highly recommended!

The Buttercup Cafe is the best breakfast/lunch spot on the Cape. An excellent menu with scrumptious breakfast and lunch options, charming and cozy ambiance and perfect customer service. So many delicious choices but The Frenchy (breakfast sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese on french toast) is exceptional. The pancakes are light, fluffy and yummy! The true test, in by book, are home fries. These were fabulous. Can't say enough about the Buttercup Cafe except - go there!!

The food was great too- we had the turkey avo wrap and the go to breakfast and they were both delicious. Definitely recommend the home fries. And they carry cape cod coffee, so that s a bonus. I can t wait to go back and try more things on the menu.

(And they are following all of the Covid protocols like masks and single-serve condiments for example).

I also will definitely be going back because the owner is an amazing human who was accurately described by my friend to me as a pile of sunshine and that is the type of business owner we need more of.

This gem of a breakfast stop is quietly hidden among the tumultuous towers of the law in Barnstable Village. Freshly made muffins, creative egg dishes, superb sandwiches and wraps topped with a killer cup of coffee! Bring your appetite and your friends. Did I mention the personable and efficient service?!? There are times when you enter an establishment you just feel it. This place is it. From the staff to the breakfast, everything was very good. I had the veggie breakfast sandwich. Quite satisfying!!! But please leave room for the pastries. Add this breakfast spot to the fine array of restaurants in Barnstable Village.

The atmosphere is adorable, the staff is amazing and the food is delicious! I m a vegetarian and my partner is not. We got completely different meals and we are both excited to go back! The dessert case is also wonderful.

My wife and I went in for the Barnstable Burrito and the Commissioners Plate at breakfast time. They both were great came with more food than we expected!

We ordered online and it was super easy. Everyone working was great about wearing masks (because COVID-19 during this review). The people there were nice and helpful and we'll definitely go back!
