The Bushmills Inn Hotel and Restaurant Reviews

Popped in for lunch with two friends. Didn't realise it was quite so upmarket. Toilets were well presented, clean and tidy. Lunch was rather overpriced. Only one option available for vegans (everything else was mushroom) and it appeared to be the most expensive item on the menu. Fortunately the soup was vegan and I was provided with alternative bread ....which was the smallest slice I've ever seen! My friend and I asked for more - even then it only equated to half a slice of bread! My friends weren't Impressed with the menu either (not vegans) one had soup, the other had chips and salad. Thank goodness it was Wednesday and we got money off!! We had of gone elsewhere had we not have already ordered drinks.

The Bushmills Inn is an historic hotel situated in the centre of Bushmills town. It is a beautiful and traditionally decorated property boasting many individually decorated and sized bedrooms and suites. It is warm and welcoming. The staff are helpful, attentive and polite. The beds are large, the bathrooms are modern and the rooms and hotel is spotless clean. There are great choices for breakfast, everyone is catered for. Aside from cooked choices (including a vegan choice) there is a vast buffet of cereals, breads, fresh fruit, yogurts, cheeses and cooked meats. Juices, tea, coffee, water and speciality teas are also on offer. Staying at the Bushmills Inn is a treat that everyone should indulge in at least once in your life... The only downside is... it's expensive but check out for deals which do come along from time to time... especially in the winter months.

Short break to N Ireland. This hotel is a rare gem the staff are quite excellent room was very comfortable with huge bed. The service in the restaurant was perfect and food quality first class. I cannot rate this hotel highly enough. Superb!

Very friendly & polite staff. We sat outside in the lovely courtyard in the sun for a couple of drinks. Both waiters were very professional. Very nice surroundings. We've also eaten here on a previous occasion. The food is very good. Would definitely recommend.

Somewhat disappointing. Service and food excellent but the ambience lacked something I can't put my finger on? Staff not wearing masks and our table location claustrophobic.
Other restaurants are available along the north coast providing better value for money.

Probably the best location for staying and exploring the Giants Causeway. We only ate dinner at their nice restaurant which is a must if only passing through. Get their Guinness Onion soup.

Nice quaint restaurant pub. Nooks and crannies. We got a lovely sort of open room/nook which was ideal as a sleeping grandchild in buggy
The 2 who had the fish pie loved it. 1 had squid and really enjoyed that. 1 caesar salad with chicken. Plenty of chicken but salad was swimming in sauce, felt could do with less. 1 had potato and leek soup but didn't eat it because tasted over powered by a defferent vegetable either parsnip or celery but could be wrong and was fairly thin.
Desert of a sundae had 3 spoons munching into it
Serve was good. Staff checked that fish pie was gluten free.

We stopped here today for lunch as it was recommended by a guide in the Causeway site. The food & service was excellent. I would highly recommend stopping here for food. Bit pricey but top class. Fab quaint spot too.

Absolutely brilliant. The food was amazing. The sea bass was really fresh with perfectly crisp skin and great flavor. The sticky toffee pudding was rich and delicious. Can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed a fine lunch here and can highly recommend it. Excellent food, beautifully prepared and presented, and served by some of the friendliest staff you ll ever encounter. Winner!
