Attractive theatre. Only downside is the fact that seats are on the small side and the
position of the merchandise counter restricts access to a certain extent, especially during busy entry times.
Entry to the theatre was not permitted until 30 minutes before show start time which, coupled with security checks on entry, resulted in the show starting at least 10 minutes late.

A very nice theatre, and the fact that young people can get in to see the opera so cheaply is amazing! However, the issue with the Hippodrome is the audience, not the show. There is constant, incessant nibbling and crunching of packaging and chewing. There are people who arrive late and make a fuss, there are people who bring their far-too-young children who cry and jump around for the duration, and there are people who are a really willing to be ripped off for ice cream!
