Never have been here for food but a friend did the other week and said it was good. I've only been for drinks and it's a good spot. However, the line can get really long so it's not worth waiting. The space inside is crowded, the dance area crowded, the floor has spills, the people are pushy, and everyone there thinks they are all that. It's one of the few nicer bars in the Boston area so people that go there think they are something special. Need to be there by 9pm to avoid the line and that's too early to be going out.

My old fashioned wasn't even close to being a proper drink. It was weird. I confirmed that it was the drink I ordered and they said yes. Weird. Also, the space they booked for our event was far too small.

Great music, no cover, always a different crowd and relatively cheaper drinks and there another bar/lounge and restaurant next door if you get bored at Brahmin.

Great music on Tuesday at reasonable volume with really good tapas and cocktails

My wife tried to have a birthday party for me. Unfortunately I got kicked out for no reason, but still had to pay the bill... such bullshit

Attended plant nite at The Brahmin. Drinks were average food was good enough to go back.

Fun and loud place. Mostly popular among college students.

This is my favorite bar in Boston, MA! Located right next to the Giant's stadium (AT&T Park), they have a great atmosphere as well as convenience to the park and public transportation. I also love the staff, the drinks and food are phenomenal. Go here or miss out!:)

My server Seamus was great- however my experience getting into the restaruant was awful. The "doorman" who called himself Chris was offering sexual favors to female and male patrons to skip the line to get in. Not sure how a person of such low moral standars is allowed to work here. Everything about this place was wonderful except for the crude and rude outdoor staff, namely Chris. If you get there before the outdoor staff is on shift you should be fine, but after 9:00 I would be prepared to wait in line and be propositioned.

The music was hhhhottttt! The waitresses we're adorable the only downfall was the bathroom was downstairs so if you got too drunk you could take a tumble

The owners of this place don't seem to understand how to treat the customers and more so it's employees. The food is OK but not out of this world. The best thing about this place is the staff, but I will never support this establishment because of the ownership.

Good drinks, great large bar and a good mix of music.

There's no such thing as zero so I guess one. Bouncers can't make up their minds about shoes. I've seen guys go in with different colored J's however they always stop me in line for mine. I try with this place but it seems like different rules apply to different people

This establishment is terrible and, frankly, illegal. When I attempted to videotape one of the bouncers doing something illegal he grabbed my phone out of my hands and threw it against the ground, destroying my phone.
Please do not attend this venue if you value your property. You may have your phone destroyed.
They also didn't return my credit card, I had to have it cancelled and returned. WTF?
Don't go here. Very dangerous.

Service was lacking. One can do much better with a night out in Boston.

Visited on Taco Tuesday. Music by Arroz con Habichuela duo was awesome. Great atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable but plates are small. Tacos were really tasty...I tried all variations and my favorites were the shrimp and the short rib. I also ordered the Braised Beef Short Rib with Yukon Puree and it was terribly underseasoned. Not sure if that translates to anything else on the menu.

The perfect mix between a bar and a dance club. There are couches and tables for those who prefer to sit, and a large dance floor for those who prefer something more lively. Overall the feel is a little bit nicer than casual. The majority of women were in dresses and heels.

The drinks at Brahmin are a bit on the expensive side. At one point I was thirsty and asked for water but was told it had to be bought in a bottle. So instead I asked for sprite which cost me $3.50. Seemed a little ridiculous to me.

The DJ in the basement is the best on a Saturday night!

Went on a Saturday night. Great place to dance or just socialize.

Got there just before the kitchen closed for a late dinner. Once we ordered food, the music was turned up to 85db (I checked). Incredibly loud, very bad music. Waitress could not hear us and ended up misunderstanding a complaint (one of us did not get out food!) creating a pretty frustrating and miserable dining experience. Some of the food was pretty good and it was not too expensive, but for a late bite? AVOID.

Everything was bad. We made a reservation the morning of the dinner night, at 8pm for 13. We get there at 8 and had to wait 40 minutes. Then we sat down and was ready to order. We told the waitress we would like separate bills and she said they only allow 4 cards per table. So we ordered and get our food 40 minutes later, it was bad. She gave attitude and sass when some of the guests didn t want to eat the food.
We brought a birthday cake to sing happy birthday and as we re singing, the waitress drops the cake! (Candles lit) she said she was sorry and she feels embarrassed and after severing for 10 years that s never happened. Then she leaves and she doesn t come to our table for another 15 minutes. She was cleaning the other tables and setting up for closing. During all of this we did not see the manager (guy in red shirt) not once until we had to pay the bill. Which was very uncomfortable because he kept sharing at us as if we weren t going to pay. He didn t apologize for anything and didn t greet us at we were leaving. This place was extremely unprofessional and I hope no one experiences what we did.

A bar for people who don't know how to drink. Pretends to be upscale, but the cocktails are basic and terrible and the bartenders don't know what they're doing. Won't go back.

Manager Scott was rude and arrogant to customers. They false advertised their event and turns around not taking responsibilities.

Thought it was going to be a little nicer than it was. Seems like a nice after work spot though.

The Brahmin is a good bar. The bartenders are great and friendly. The vibe was okay for the most part. The dj wasn't the best and didn't get the crowd going. Also there was a small crowd when I went, so that's why I'll give it 3 stars it's good but has potential to be better.

I've never had the food here but it's a great place to go out if you like dancing. Friendly staff, young crowd, USUALLY good music

The atmosphere was different with all the exposed brick. There was modern technology music a little louder than expected, which took a while getting use to. The food was reasonable priced and average. For example, I ordered a flat bread, but it was clearly a pizza. Wouldn't recommend for over 30 crowd.

Great place to have dinner and then continue until late night with great music and great people.

A lot of people here writting reviews of stuff they have no clue about. Its a bar and you're not paying a fortune the foods good and drinks are great. A lot of you "reviewers" are just sad pathetic people with nothing better to do with your lives, and stop making a restaurants staffs life harder.

Poor drink menu (beer wine and cocktails). Very sweet centered. Loud tunes by an in-house DJ who barely seemed to monitor his work

I've only been here once, but probably won't return. All the drinks we got were pretty bad (excessively sweet, my old fashioned was mostly simple syrup) and they were blasting pop country music the whole time. It was a weekday though, so who knows. The staff was friendly

If you looking for craft cocktails, good looking bartenders, and good food.. stop in here .. its loads of fun

The bar tender (Sierra) was very nice and made sure I had everything I needed, the music made the atmosphere of the bar super nice and the other bartender were always making sure I had a drink in hand. Would definitely go back again with my friends

Top club area is great. The underground club is better for dancing.

Great drink menu and good appetizers. Dark lighting not ideal for group dinners or networking. Overall, though, the service was timely and the staff was friendly.

Worst service I have ever received in my life. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Friendly bouncer staff. Cheaper drinks than red lotus next door. The upstairs dance floor is so-so at best but the downstairs dance floor was in severe need of a ventilation system and perhaps less crowd. And finally decent crowrd.

Food was quite good, though the waitress was a bit short with us, though.

Fun place to hangout with friends later at night, drink and dance. Drinks are a bit pricey, the atmosphere is fun and for a college age crowd. The security and the door staff are really welcoming but the bar staff is very rude on both occasions that i went up to the bar with different bar tenders.

They have really amazingly delicious food, not sure if I can say the same about the club. Drinks are pretty good, although a little on the pricey side

Nothing beats free entrance; but the lines at the bar are very long, and the small area that serves as a makeshift dance floor gets packed! The bartenders also seem far from happy.
