Enjoy an alligator show and bird exhibits. They also provide free music on Fridays and Saturdays

This place has been there for so long and is so quirky that it is a must visit for both the locals and tourists. I can't recommend the food but the outdoor bar is fabulous. It's also the best place to take an airboat ride on Lake Jesup.

Go for the wildlife and perhaps an alligator will have a conversation with you.
Don't worry your your guide/captain has you covered.

Captain Steve was a wonderful guide. We wished we booked a longer tour. Our friends had never seen an alligator and to hold that little female was a big deal for them and will give them bragging rights back home in Tennessee. Steve was knowledgeable and fun to be with. It was too early to eat so we will be back before their visit is complete.

I just want to say that Captain Tim was the absolute best Captain to have for your boat ride with Captain Tims positive and his safety measures where absolutely awesome he is the best Captain to have for your boat ride experience

Not as many mosquitos as you would imagine. Nice backwoods bar and view. Comfortable atmosohere.

"Grub and Gators", well at least the grub is a definite, not good but a definite. BHA has a pretty nice setup where you can not only take an airboat ride but you also go through some marsh areas looking for alligators while you see many other animals. Obviously, since the reptiles are wild animals, sightings are never a guarantee. The upside is the airboat captain is very knowledgable about the area, wildlife and vegetation so not all was lost. The area where you board the airboats is fun and Caribbean like with outdoor bars and colorful decor.

The restaurant was not good, based on my experience. We were approaching our airboat reservation time and had enough time to grab an app. We ordered the onion rings and they were horribly cooked. I think the oil wasn't at the proper temperature because the rings were doughy on the inside and saturated with oil. When we picked them up they drained oil for about 10-20 seconds.

There are several gators held captive at BHA which always concerns me as far as treatment and should a wild animal actually be held in a 12x20'ish or even worse, a smaller aquarium.

My wife and I love this spot. We scooter there and get some cheap drinks to escape the kids lol. Although our friends have had less than desired experiences here we have always been treated good. Look it s not a swanky place with frou-frou food and drinks. It s a gator place with rustic airboat rides and motorcycles in the sticks. Enjoy it for what it is. A nice quaint place that isn t overly busy. My favorite part is the angry parrot that hates beautiful dark haired blue eyed women hahaha! Two for one salty margaritas for the win.

Great laid back place to spend the end of the day drinking local drafts. Friendly staff a and local regulars everywhere. Activities for kids. Food. Boat docks. Tiki tables. Watch a storm here if you want a good show.

Love the airboat ride at Black Hammock. We had so much fun and Captain Mike was awesome. Seeing the bird island was amazing. Everyone should go on this ride for sure.

1 ramp and a few slips that are falling apart. Minimal parking. But it has a restaurant and a bar by the water. The people who work there are pretty cool.

We are visiting from Tennessee and took this tour. It was AMAZING! Captain Steve was informative and totally entertaining. We highly recommend this to everyone!

This place is in bad shape since hurricane Irma. Hoping they get it restored soon. Completely dead on a Friday night.

Nice outside setting. Air boats available. Small gator and other animals on display. Every cheesy gator related gift you can think of in the gift shop.

Went for Motorcycle To and stopped to get a few drinks.

I had fun doing this and I will go back, it's just so beautiful there.

This is the place where you can have a bite, or a drink while watching gators sunbathing, this is the place to go on a boat ride and see amazing wildlife, this is the place to spend unique moments. Where else can one take a picture with Lucy the alligator?

Truly a great experience! All the staff made us feel comfortable and at home from the restaurant to the airboat. Our captain, Steve, made our airboat ride exciting and full of learning. I recommend this a lot better than everglades. Definitely worth the trip going there!

We took an airboat tour and paid to feed the gators and birds. Also stopped in the bar to try some gator. It is a must try. Like a juicy chicken tender but so much better. The boat tour was great, they provide headsets if you need them too.

My all time favorite for nature, food, drinking, boating. It's got a great place for kids to see birds and gators. Shhh don't tell anyone, it's the local best kept secret.
