Great beer garden. Beautiful place. Great chicken wings.

Always a good place for food if in the area.
Never disappoints. God menus.

They do good food and if anything is wrong they will happily change it.

Third time I've been here and I'm never dissapointed! Their garlic mushrooms are my go to starer absolutely melt in your mouth, fantastic, never fail me! Last time I went I had their raging burger, really struggled to eat half but of course they doggie bagged up the rest up for me! I don't eat potatoes so everytime I go they allow me to choose rice as my side order! Staff are brilliant and management are very accommodating!

Had a meal here yesterday with the family and was really impressed I had the beef and it was gorgeous so was the pasta

Great restaurant and bar. Friendly staff and lovely food

Had the roast beef here on Sunday, staff are helpful and pleasant, loads of parking too, would very much like to visit again soon.

Have been here a couple of times but was really disappointed with this visit, food was extremely bland, I ordered a chicken ciabatta and I got chicken tomatoes and a massive amount of garlic mayo, looked awful and tasted worse. Half of the menu was not available and we were not told this when they gave us the menu so had to make a few changes to our initial selection.
Ordered a jug of water with some lime, which I presummed would be sliced lime ,instead I got a jug of water with loads of lime cordial in it . Overall extremely disappointed

Did not have food. Had drinks with friends. All good.

By all means i must say my compliments to the chefs in the kitchen food was amazing and the waitresses were brilliant!!!!! But the manager! Dave i think his name is.... I know we are a big family with young kids that i know can be a hand full but Dave you need to learn how to be family friendly! You were ignorant from the moment we walked in!! The way you dealt with the kids misbehaving is uncalled for... Never felt more unwelcome in a restaurant in my life!! This is a man that works in the industry my whole life....

The whole other team was amazing and thats why i gave the two stars!

We had breakfast and both of us taught it was amazing and we will definitely go back for breakfast.

Waited 5 minutes to be noticed standing at restaurant entrance. Starter fab but too big. Main freezing. Total disaster. Overpriced. Won't be bad

Service was absolutely brilliant! Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and was very covid friendly has a brilliant night with the family would recommend to anyone!!! Burgers were insane highly recommended.

Not today. Stew no bigger than a bowl of soup.. Christmas only lasts so long. Rest of the year to come guys. Then 11.95 for the bowl of soup stew. Barman had not much of a clue, just another Xmas punter, Next mug please

Always a great atmosphere - good for a few beers & a bit to eat. Not a bad place to watch sports - whatever the big match is, the Bull will have it on.

Every time i leave here i feel happy . 4th time here can not fault this place from parking the food and the staff service and very clean toilets .its a place just to call in and look for yourself .ps it would be a 5 star only for cov 19 .

Bitterly disappointed again with this place. Their menu is way overpriced and their food under delivers. I received my fish and chips and I have to say the portions were very, very small. The fish piece was tasty but tiny, the mushy peas served in a small little silver dipping dish were more like puree, and the chips served in a little tiny bucket were simply not enough to fill the gap in your tooth. I left the restaurant hungry. I complained to the manager but he said that the size of the fish was weighed out by the chef. Who are they kidding??!!! Unacceptable and at 14.95 for this, they need to up their anti! It seems that they are trying to scrape back the money for the upgraded decor by over pricing and serving tiny portions.
The servers there lack training. There is no service as such. One will take your order with little to say and another will come along and give it to you or anybody who seems to be passing by. No consistency and no care at all. Such a pity!
They need to offer value to their customers not rip them off with trying to get away with serving small portions. It was the same the first time I had eaten there since they changed their decor. Everything lacks!

Very good brasserie restaurant with good food and reasonable prices.

Had a great time with great food and service. You have to be wearing a mask to enter the building and when leaving the table which is great. Looking forward to coming back again.

Famed for their food. It's been a long time since the bull on the top of the building was black. They paint it different all the time. Always something to look out for when entering Drogheda

Gorgeous waiters and waitress (the young ones) according to them the working conditions are not good at all so I give them a 2 stars cuz if u take care of ur employees they'll take care of ur customers

A spacious pub and restaurant with a nice atmosphere for a quiet drink or a family get together

Was meeting friend for lunch on Sunday past. I am celiac and once ask about my options . The staff were very helpful and on the ball. I went for turkey and ham with gravy . Was advised I could not have stuffing and I was fine with that. Had extra turkey on my plate to make up for it. Would certainly be back again. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Full 5 star on service and food

Good food and good bars. Service is always nice and the atmosphere is cracking. Reasonably priced and worth a wait.

The black Bull is one of my favourite restraints in Ireland the food is so nice,and served so well.
Ps.I recommend the warm chocolate brownie for desert

Pleasent staff who paid attention. Meals were fine. Price very reasonable. One small criticism.

It could have been wife and I but from 9.30pm onward we felt colder in the place like the heating had been turned off or someone left a door long open. Would have liked to stay longer but left to get home and get warmed up again.

Other than that, we would return again - when we are sure the weather is decent incase same thing happens again. Small gripe. Everything else was grand.

Friendly atmosphere, lovely food and very good staff

We had a very good meal at the Black Bull but was very disappointed when we went to pay for our meal. It said on the menu if you pick from the SPECIALS board you can get a free dessert. We all had meals from the special board and had a dessert but when we went to pay for our meal they changed us for the desserts saying only one item on the board qualified for the free dessert. That was NOT what it said on the menu.
