Fun mostly in daytime, police do a good job at night but parking in the evening is tricky, be careful. Photography exhibit is fun but we noticed a trend; someone who has a celebrity/former politician relative, wins the top ribbon every year, even with less than quality pics....Yeah coincidence. If we as fair goers notice I wonder if the other contestants notice

Pandemic year. 2020
Fast food drive thru style.
Got there just before closing. Long wait to get in and once in it was fast. Also don't take the food home to eat. Eat while it's hot is my only suggestion.

I cannot believe it. We bought the bracelets so my kids could enjoy the rides, they could not go on the rides these were the excuse. Too short, too tall, need an adult, no single riders, need to be 18 years. That sucks I was very disappointed. Wish I could get my money back.

The worst fair I've ever visited. Games were obviously there to steal your money (bent rings, typical gimmicks, etc...). Food was trash. People were rude. If you like ghetto, this is the place for you. Not a single person I know looks forward to the Small Ghetto Fair.

This is the second year that my daughter gets ripped off. The people that sell the wristbands keep the change. My daughter who is 16 years old felt so harassed and bullied by the staff who are at the carnival games. She said that they were all making rude comments to the boy who was accompanying her and her friends because he hadn t won a stuffed animal for them. Even worse one of the staff went as far as calling the her friend a loser and ugly. These were all teenagers it makes me wander if they would say this to a grown adult male. I was disappointed to hear that my daughter had this bad experience.

(About the FOOD) The Fresno fair is a place where a lot of us adults go to check out the pricey food. But this year...i just wasn't as impressed. It could have just been me but some of the foods had a bland taste and not as savory as one might expect for what we were paying. On the flip side..much of the simpler items (ex. Bacon wrapped hot dogs, corn dogs) had the best taste..that fair taste we enjoy. So i think next year...i will stick with the simpler tastey items.

Grounds ok, could use paving or sealer on grounds and parking lot , but they keep building, need to give grounds some TLC instead of building more buildings. Also charging for parking but no security, two cars broken into when I was there.

I was not happy at all on the radio they advertised more than they actually had. Plus you have a 10.00 dollar charge to enter but all the items they had we didn't want ti buy. We went for tools and they didnt have tools.

Love comi g here when the fair is in town but my gosh have the prices been going up for the food but the portion stays the same. But still very delicious food and it's family friendly. Somewhere to go and walk just to get out of the house

Always lots of fun. I try to go every year at least for the food. There s a lot to do from ride to food to checking out animals. Just feels like it gets more expensive every year. But there is something for almost everyone and a great place to bring your family.

Fresno native and the fair is a MUST every October.
The violence has ceased dramatically and has become much more family oriented over the years.

I would suggest that a person at least goes twice. My method is designating a day for eating and the other specifically for the rides.

They offer a small room for moms to breastfeed and/or change diapers, which ous nice since there's only awkward spaces else where. But the fairs here suck, would rather go to the cherry auction.

It's not ideal but they did a good job with the drive thru event. The beginning was very organized. Needed a few more staff around booths 8-10 to help with the increased congestion but ultimately a good job. BEWARE the process is stop and go. Took us 2 hours from start to finish, but staff notified us upon entry that it would take that long.
