The Big Fresno Fair Review

This year I atend the Fresno fair& I found it full of very helpful people& kind also. The fair was cleaner then some of the times, I had gone b4 in years of b4. The only thing that I didn't like was I never saw any police having to break up fights& arresting any gang members. Ploice were doing their job very well in controlling any gave looking peoplo safe.I really enjoyed the fair& I'm a senior citizen.I was kind of scare to attend the Fresno fair. Cause of pasted expenses. Er didn't have to worry about our automonlible being breaken in to either. It was so nice& clean. But everything was too expensive. On our penuon it was hard to be spending our money. Over all we ebjoyed

Great food!!! I always go for the food year after year. They have a separate area designated for small children. Endless exhibits with animals, fun areas for children to play, fruit market. Gift shop style stands. Free concerts & shows, actual big star concerts with ticket purchase. Horse racing, magic shows, information booths, teenager rides, big adult rides (massive sling shot ride). There's carnival gaming, photo booths & so much more. The only downfall in my opinion is the parking situation. It is a bit stressful. The usual parking is inside the fair grounds for $10 but this year '19 they changed the location & it ended up being far away with a very long walk to my truck. They had a shuttle service in the beginning when arriving but then when leaving around 9pm it wasn't available anymore & the walk was a bit difficult for my 2 toddlers. The past 3 years I attended I never had that issue. Not sure if this will be ongoing for the years to come.

Probably never coming here again. The security is just never enough for an event as big as this. I don't want to risk myself getting injured from fights ever again. The food however, is very good! I would definitely recommend eating here! If you come during the week, they usually have specials going on with admission and sometimes the rides themselves.

I go every year. This year I'm going with my brother. Love it! We have a lot of fun at the Fresno fair.

We got off work in time to get to the fair, park and go in for the Chicago concert at 7 pm last Friday. I was surprised at how crowded it was around some of the food stands. Food is pricey, almost everything was pricey but you have to know that when you go to the fair. I appreciated the additional security measures this year and didn't mind wearing my wrist band.

Never going back. I understand some things may be overpriced but $13 for soda is ridiculous. Plus the parking was horrendous. Though we paid for parking it didn't help when my car was dented in the parking lot. Never going back.

Huge improvement over years past. For the first time ever this year we had a hard time finding parking.

They have done an incredible job off making the place look nice.

A butler amusements premier events .....when we say big we mean big ...come enjoy butlers attractions and more

This place is trash now compared to what it used to be. Crime infested, overpriced, and very gross carnival employees.

I enjoyed myself at the Fresno fair . Everyone is doing things on the fly and normally that is not the way but due to pandemic measures, we now find new and innovative ways to continue in fun and making that cash. That was a good thing. I got my issue of Fresno fair roll soft tacos with the potato inside . Good eatin!!

No Fair....went to church service at the Fair Grounds...my church is hold service there since it bigger and open space. So IT WAS AMAZING!

They did an amazing job this year with the drive thru eats everything was orderly and quick !! Thank you to everyone who worked/volunteered

As long as your not a hoodlum who has" beef" with some other hoodlum you'll enjoy the big fresno fair great food,horse races,animal stock,museums ;)

The reason for 2 stars is because we never made it in. Went on Columbus Day, lines were long and with little ones, some under 5, it was just too long to wait. We guesstimated maybe two hours before we would get to the actual food part. I m sure it s as organized as you can get with this kind of event. It was just too much for us.

When the fair is here, the food is why I come. Gyros. I also come to this location for the gun shows they have4 times a year.

Loved it. Compare to other years 2017 & 2018 we're definitely the safest. Can't wait for 2019!!

Everything is wayyy overpriced & all the wannabe gangbangers try to ruin the experience for everyone. Not worth going to the fair.

Not as great as it seems, decent place when its in town

The 25 cent foot massage machines is the highlight for me. My toddlers loved the new farm animal attraction area and hubby loved the food.

Fantasy lights was pretty cool. Kind of short so drive slow if you're going. Also make sure to buy some snacks, since they're foods that only come around during the fair.

Went to the Fresno Garden and Home Show. So many vendors an absolute must to go and enjoy.

I love it, wow no more fights, secure, family place.

It fell very safe. Lots of security. Food was great.

2020 drive through fair was a fun experience! Its nothing like walking around but the staff did a great job despite all the chaos. We had a Toyota van so we were able to get in the fast pass for free. And it took us an hour to get through most of the vendors. We got a colossal corn dog, lobster fries, strawberry lemonade, turkey leg, tri tip/bbq chicken sandwich, a light up stick for my 2 year old, and of course the amazing cinnamon bun! They did a great job organizing.

Good place to go have fun see animals great food and good gift shops

Drive through style sucked thos year but the 52 bucks i spent in food was worth it to me. Im a foodie though lol

I've only been once years ago when my children were young and I refuse to ever go again. Gang members were everywhere, I was waiting for drama to break out we didn't feel safe at all and left in a hurry.

Went to the fair just to see the fight it was awesome and where we sat ....we were right in front of him watching interacting with the crowd he was a really nice guy

Same as every other year. Other than that, some of the bands that play are okay. Curly Fries was really hard, a rip-off. There was a fight, but then again it is Fresno.

This year's fair was so much more enjoyable with the curfew imposed on the younget crowd. I didn't witness a single incident that required security and/or police presence. The food was excellent as usual

Just gets better each year. Many improvements for hardscape and landscape. Just visited home and garden show. Next will be history museum plus old neon signs. Groovy!

The grounds crew uses a gas leaf blower around their commerce building this causes the fumes to go directly into the building vents so the entrance smells like gas for first 20 minutes of a show.

Decent food, crowds are less intense than they used to be but some of the vendors there are.....let's just say; high maintenance...

It was good and food the food prices was to expence..

Very pricey, prices has gone up for entrance and parking fees, but I had a great time at wine tasting

It was ok. Not a whole lot of stuff for interior decoration

Home was smaller than normal, however, the homeshows here are larger than CalExpo and Alameda county

Go there every year during the Hmong New Year... great times and great food...come out everywhere year on the Dec. 26th thru the Jan 1st

Kids had a great time. But, just like all fairs, it can get expensive. Come prepared with cash, and come HUNGRY.

It was an aeesome experience.. had loys of fun. Its a great place for children , teens as well as Adults.

I went early to avoid the crowd. It wasn't too busy. We were able to move around with the stroller just fine. Lines for food were short. A lot of security and signs about sercurity cameras.

Its alright food is HELLA OVERPRICED LIKE I BOUGHT FRIES AND THEY WERE $13

Rides are too expensive. The removal of some the games to put a duplicate stand of the same game instead is disappointing.

As for you haters; Remember in today's times all good EPIC FUN/ things COST money.
Nobody in this world is gonna entertain you for free.

As much as it's cool to come here with friends it's way overrated food arexl expensive for the smallest or even cheap kind of food and janky old like rides you need to pay for and boring after going year after year be cool if they built fc fresno stadium there
