The Bend Motorsport Park Review

excellent race track i was enjoy everything in the bend. but the go kart experience is from heaven to hell. it was the best go kart place in SA. now they got speed limit on the karts, you just cant enjoy the go kart experience as they should be.

We arrived 12pm with our van. Now after 2 PM and still in line to set up camp. Power still being rolled out and x10 showers for the caravan park. So far a very disappointing start, I suppose the only way from here is up. Here's hoping for a happy hour ending.

Absolute pleasure been able to go and check it out. Got to see a few cars go around the track. I didn't want to leave.

I was overcome with religious furvour as I approached this monolithic temple to the speed gods. SA does not deserve something so epic, but here it is.

Great day out, booked 3x 10min races on the gokarts and was really impressed, track was great with both fast and tight corners and long wide main straight. karts were nice and fast they handled really well also.

There were a few cars going round the track. Not much else happening but munchkin wanted a few pics with the static display cars and bike

Great lunch and short track run with the sporting car club of South Australia, excellent facilities

Worth a look around. Friendly welcoming staff. You can walk around the welcome centre and oggle over the verrry expensive toys. Cafe open although we didn't bother this time. Would look great when there are race days.

World class facility well done to all involved cant wait to see the final product!

If you love motor sport this is the place to.
The cars on display are really nice it is one of the newest motor sport venues

The hire go-kart track here is unreal. Best in the state by far. Also far to get to here but worth it.

The karts are super fast !

There are a few divets off the side of the track though which are starting to damage the karts and can be a bit bumpy. They really need a bit of run off area before you go off into the dirt.

Chematek buy the base oil from china and blend it in Singapore with bottles labeled eni ( AGIP) made in Italy. Absolutely garbage oil and now OTR endorse it

Good place. Plenty of viewing spots. Great facilities.

Great facilities and amazing race circuit. Hands down best in Australia and would rival most in the world.

Awesome racetrack and will be great for spectators once finished as at the moment its a bit of a lifeless dustbowl, with bugger all shelter from the howling wind and dust.
The future looks to be a winner though

This is a must see for Motorsport enthusiasts. Word class facilities and you can really get up close and personal to the action. Love it

New gocarts now, watched some GT3' s race around the main track

Lot of work still to be done but in12mths time it will be great

Fabulous race circuit come motorsport complex, still a work in progress but something for SA motorsport fans to be proud of.

Extremely poor event management. Avoid for corporate functions and team days.

We confirmed and paid a deposit mid August for our event on Friday November 1st locking in a Go Kart Grand Prix 3 for our staff (21) in addition to a number of Mustang hot laps after the GP.

Last minute date change to Thursday 5th December, time changes adding new constraints not previously discussed and price increases days before the event created a number of logistical issues and frustrations for us, however, the day went well. Until we realized that despite the increased charges we were considerably short changed on what had been agreed with over 25% of the planned racing not delivered.

When we took this up with the operators they told us that they were acting under instruction of the events manager and that we should speak to her. The events manager was of no help at all, offered no apology and failed to even acknowledge our complaint. She refused our request to speak with the General manager and even walked off.

We are a South Australian based national business trying to support another South Australian organisation. After spending thousands of dollars even with all the issues leading up to the event, I was extremely disappointed at the attitude towards us as a group and the lack of an explanation or apology.

No communication has been received since the event. Others be warned.

One of the best Motor Sport Parks in the Southern Hemisphere. The staff make you feel very welcome .

More toilets and wider over hang on pit straight stands, for better weather cover and protection.

Fantastic place.. World class.. Great camping sight with power. Showers & toilets great food vans ...drifting track was something out of the top draw of entertainment.....

Awesome place to see the racing from the sidelines with MANY vantage points where most of the WHOLE track can be seen. Track design is awesome with high speed and technical sections. I love the banked turns for some reason. Cant wait to be able to afford to drive or ride the bike on it IF I can ever get to afford it!

Bit rough around the edges still. Great fun though, well designed track.

Never seen a McLaren Senna before. It was a breathtaking experience. Me and my friends also happened to be there when the motorcycle track day was on, it was awesome to see riders going 300km/h+ on the straights. The facilities were very clean and looked nice as well.

I wish they would build a decent track in WA.

Facilities are immaculate. As would be expected from a brand new complex. For the Supercar series more big screens and seating is required IMO. Cost of an open track day is quite high also. This seems to shift the average age of track day participants closer to the retiree mark. The main building offers an amazing view of most of the track and has some very cools cars that are lined up outside a second storey restaurant/Cafe that pairs incredible views with some half decent food. If a little pricey.

Such an amazing and welcome addition to SA I've only seen the drift side if things and had a quick look at the open track days on the main circuit but from just that its incredible. I will be spending a lot of time there I can tell
