I contracted with them to redo my kitchen floor and instead of tearing up the old vinyl they just installed the floor on top of the vinyl. A few months later I contacted them because the floor was cracking and coming up. They said they would come up and remove the floor, the old vinyl and the underfloor. They would then replace the underfloor and put the flooring on top. When the construction guys came out they pulled up the floor and started to put under flooring on top of the old vinyl. I had to tell them the contract said they'd pull up the old vinyl first. They said "okay" and pulled up the vinyl. Again they started to put the underfloor in and I told them they needed to take out the old underfloor first. It finally turned out okay but you really have to watch the installers to make sure they are doing what the contract actually says. Luckily they pretty much fixed the problem with minimal cost but I'd rather have had them do it right the first time. I also recommend reading the contract closely to make sure it says what you really want them to do before approving it.

Mark came in on a day off for me to look at the flooring selection and was more than helpful and friendly. Installation took place soon after and I couldn't be happier with the results.

We are building out of state, but needed help finding samples of carpets in-budget. We called 5 different carpet stores in northeast San Antonio for help. Robert was the only one who went out of his way to look up the styles and prices and get back with us, then spend 30 minutes showing us all the samples. Despite knowing we weren t going to buy from him, he gave us first-rate customer service for one of our major home-building decisions. Highly recommend working with Barton Co. and Robert!!

We did business with them in August, 2018. Fast forward 2 years and we have been very happy with our flooring across our house and have had zero issues. They were great to work with and price was competitive. Salesman did make a mistake on glue down vs floating for our floors but fixed it, meaning we ended up getting an upgrade for free since the mistake was on their end. They acknowledged it immediately and didn't try to charge us more for the more expensive product. I will use them again.

Robert with Barton Carpets is the only person I will ever go to for any flooring needs. My parents have worked with him for several homes and I have worked with him as well - I could not recommend him more! Outstanding service, knowledgeable, great price, and the floors always turn out perfectly. Thank you so much for doing such great work! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

The store has a great selection on flooring. The only downside is thier so called professional installer and his crew of uncoordinated reefer smokers. These guys are unprofessional, using before, during & after while on an installation. And it shows in thier work. It has been said that they took too long & was one of the WORST tile jobs ever seen. What kind of professional installer taxes his own crew for mistakes? Then not pay what is due at the end of the week to the helpers. No wonder no one will stay working and finish the projects sooner.
Lose the Loser (Jesse) and do some background checks. Hopefully the company will find a work ethical professional installer.
