Very Disappointed with TowneBank of Currituck, I call to get clarification and understanding with my account and basically got told that if they looked up my account to see past overdrafts and that they would charge me if they did that and i didn't call to get harassed or threatened with being charged for stuff that has been taken care of i just wanted clarification and an understand and all i got was rude and nasty comments and i am not very happy with the level of customer service at this location. My husband was going to open an account with them tomorrow but i think we will have to go elsewhere.

Very rude and disrespectful bankers. I called in with a mutual client for an ACH Verification. I spoke to Nancy first and she transferred me to someone else. The woman NEVER asked me my name, company, agency, license number or anything. She immediately assumed because the client "inquired" about life insurance she didn't want it, which was not the case at all. She then proceeds to tell us without legitimate reason that she wouldn't verify her information. It was based off her feelings and judgement which is wrong. My client followed proper protocol when asked to verify her information. She even went about to tell the client, while on the phone with me still, that if she needs life insurance she can come inside and sit with someone and doesn't have to talk on the phone. How professional is any of that?! I don't appreciate this at all. Professionalism is much needed!
